Wabet em Aset
(Priestess of Isis)

Hey hekenmess (Greetings friend). I am GoddessIceWave, a desert peophin and priestess of Isis. Oftentimes I can be found on the banks of the 'Great River' that runs through the Lost Desert.

Whenever I could I would aid those in need who crossed my path, guiding them or healing thier wounds. Other times I would often be sunbathing on the sandy bank, or being seranaded with poetry by my adoring husband Kaieyer.

~ Becoming Desert ~

It should be known that I am the first desert peophin. I was a Desert Peophin, before and after peophins were actually able to be painted this wonderful way. Since Dec. 2001 I was drawn, and declared to be desert (even if my coat was spotted).

I had my Desert Paint Brush bought since that time.. and waited, hoping, praying that I could one day actually be painted desert.

It was 2 days after Pookabunny's birthday on Jan. 22 2003 when peophins could finally be desert! I was painted even before the news came out. I was the first both for drawings, and for painting. I'm so very happy being desert, and all of my dreams have come true.

~ the Way of Isis ~

It was during the last year that I felt something missing in my life. With the loss of a family member, and another who moved away I found that I needed to do something more with myself.

It was Kamilah, a high priestess of Aset (or Isis as she is known in modern day) who drew me into the ways of the temple. I trained under her as an apprentice, and learned the ways of good magic, healing, love, weather and the rivers.

I found my new calling filling the gap in my life that I was missing, and look up to my Netjer Wabet em Aset (Divine Priestess of Isis) as a mentor and guide.

Since then I have become a fully annointed priestess, my healing and water magics have grown many fold. Now I often spend time at the temple on the bank of the Great River assisting those who come to the priestesses for aid.

I suppose that my appearance changed with my induction into the ways of Isis. Mostly just a few changes to my clothing and hair, nothing drastic.

~ Interests and Hobbies ~

My adopted sister TaRepy claims that I am 'boring' and don't know how to have fun. I don't realy consider myself in such a way, I just know how to be happy with simple pleasures.

I am not actually native to the Lost Desert, but am from a species of Northern Peophin. I quickly grew to adore the desert and adapted to living here. It's rich culture and people facinate me.

I adore collecting Desert Stamps and nearly have the whole collection. Now if only I could get that very rare King Coltzan one.

A quiet day reading while basking under the sun, or an evening curled on the rug in my home. Nothing is better then a good book.

~ My Wonderful Family ~

Ah, my beloved husband Kaieyer. This kind-hearted stallion is a wonderful poet, and swept me of my, um... fins with our first meeting. Ours is a fairytale romance, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have three magical, strange daughters with an interesting story behind them.
While I was heavy with my unborn twin daughters an old zafara woman wished to bless my un-born foals... with advice to have then taught in the ways of magic.

Strangely the first two girls were quite gifted in the ways of magic, even born on a sacred day to the witches.

RulingPlanet is the oldest of my three daughters. She always seems to have some idea of what is about to happen, and is an asounding soothsayer (diviner). Perhaps I should take her to the temple of Isis sometime soon to show them her gifts.

MagikBook was born only a few minutes after her sister. She has a knack for spell-weaving, magical tools and transfigurations. I cannot count the number of times that she turned Planet into a mortog.

MabonEquinox was born awhile after her twin sisters. She is the baby of the family, and 'completed the trio'. She seems to have great skill with herbs and potions. Mabon runs the small magical shop that my three daughters own.
