Is My Pet Wearing Makeup?!?

We've all noticed the new look of the female pets. Some have huge eyelashes. Others seem to be wearing eyeliner. Some have colored eyelids. And still others have a look as though they were flirting or "making eyes" at someone.

Not All Girls Are Girly

If your girl pet loves the new look of her eyes that's wonderful, but for every Princess Fernypoo admiring herself in a mirror there is a battle pet or a tomboy who wants to wash the makeup off.

The Solution

The new customized Neopets can add or take off clothing. Let's ask Neo to treat the eye makeup like clothes. That way if you like eyeliner or big big eyelashes you get to wear them, and if you don't like them you can just put them in your closet. Everybody wins.

Ways to contact TNT

There are a few ways to contact TNT, but it can be hard to find the right place for your comment or question. Sometimes you have to dig through many pages just to find the right form. Here are links to some of the better pages for getting in touch with Neo about the new pet eyes.

Please don't send your letter or form more than once. Sending the same letter over and over would be Spam and spamming is not a good thing. This page is about making Neopets a better place, and spam has no part in that.

The Contact Us link at the bottom of every Neopets page leads to a number of options including a page for sending in ideas and comments about anything on Neopets.

If you have Premium

Also Premium Neopets users can use the feedback section of their Portal page to contact TNT. (Sorry, I can't link directly to the premium portal page feedback area as TNT frowns on players giving out that link.) Once you click on the "Neopets" link in the feedback section it will take you to a page where you have to pick a topic. The topic that seems best for comments on the new eyes is "Pets, Petpets, and Petpetpets.

Get your own Custom Eyes badge or banner

You can put these badges and banners on your lookups, shops, or petpages. They come in a bunch of colors and styles, so one is sure to be right for you.

To use a badge just copy all of the code in the box under the graphic you want. (Be careful to make sure you are copying ALL the code.) Then paste that exact code into your shop, lookup, or petpage.

If you'd like to donate a badge or banner

If you'd like to make a badge for the Custom Eyes campaign, we'll put it up. The only absolute rules are: 1) It has to be about the campaign. 2) It can't break Neo's rules. 3) Please avoid slogans trashing the Neopets staff even if you are frustrated with the redraws.

If you have an inspiration, go with it!
However, if you are looking for ideas or guidelines here are a few:

• You can use the slogan "CUSTOM EYES because no pet should be forced to wear makeup " (or just "custom eyes" or no slogan on smaller stuff)
• Some good sizes for banners and badges are 340x60 (half banner size), 88x31 (micro banner), 468x60 (banner size)
• If you want to use any of the same colors as the webpage, it uses #34AADD and ##FFE3AC
