NOTICE:

DAO is pronounced däu as in Daoism or Taoism.

Congrats everyone, we are now officially the fastest growing club in all of neopia!

All new members from now on start out as initiates. Anyone can join, but to become a full member you must go through an extensive initiation process. An initiate has partial access to the club, but cannot have one of our higher ranks, become an officer, or compete in some club events.

INITIATION OPPORTUNITY:

Anyone who posts with the "Ghost Krawk" or "Kadoatery - Mew!" avatar this week will be promoted from initiate. In the future initiations will be much more complicated, so this is a very good opportunity for you.

There is not much information about initiations here, but we plan to start more initiations into the club soon and will be adding more information here. :) Keep checking back.

Events

DAO will have hold casual games of avatar simon, avatar ABC and avatar survivor quite often. In addition we will hold tournaments, in which multiple sets of an avatar related game until we have a champion.

On some days we'll have a special theme where we all work on a particular avatar. Maybe we'll all play freaky factor one day, and give each other tips on getting the avatar and improving.

Because we are an avatar club, we focus on all means of getting avatars. Plots often give out avatars, so when one comes around we will put a lot of focus on it. Also, we're considering adding some small avatar related activities like an avatar crossword. More on that later.

Oh, and eventually once the clubs get more established, we may have some sort of war with another club. Maybe not a war per se, but a friendly day of competition. This is a long ways off though.

Lending

We're currently looking for avatar lenders, contact SM if you have any to lend.

Application:

To apply to DAO, fill out the following form and neomail it to SM:

1. How to did you find out about DAO?

2. How many avatars do you have?

3. What is your favorite avatar, and why?

4. What is your goal in life?

5. Why do you want to become a part of of Delta Avatar Omega?

The elders of DAO will then proceed to review and come to a consensus decision upon your request for acceptance into the club.
