Gentoru's Page
Story
Ghostly white orbs gaze off into the distance. Not a single speck of color could be found...odd really. His muzzle swung around over his shoulder, nostrils of his dim grey nose twitched, a grin slowly spread acrost his maw, "Greetings brother." His voice was cold and harsh, yet it was slightly softer than usual, Lore was his brother....and Gentoru was nice to him. Well, a normal lupe wouldn't call it nice, but for him, it was very nice. Lore gave out a small whine, "How did you know it was me? I practiced walking all quiet!" Gentoru chuckled and shook his shaggy head, "I'll always hear you, it's big brother senses, pup." Lore gazed at him in awe, "Really?" He asked, eyes widened, filled with even more respect for his brother. Gentoru swung his muzzle towards the pup, grinning...or maybe it was a silent snarl, one could never quite tell. "Yes, now didn't you forget to walk your anubis, pup?" Lore yelped, "Oh no! My poor little Kumai!" With this, Lore whireld about and wildly ran towards their den, where a very tired Kumai curled up in Lore's part and slept....as he'd already been on a walk with Lore. The green, blue and lilac hued flames licked Gentoru's pelt, flickering and dancing with the breeze. He sighed and thought aloud, "Now was that too mean....or is he just that gullable?" Rising to his paws, he flicked a pointed, pitch black ear. Padding off down a well worn path, he went deeper into the forrest. Pausing on the bank of a small river that twisted through the trees and wound off, ending in an ocean, quite a ways out there. He slowly dipped his maw into the cool water, lapping up a few mouthfulls. He lifted up his head, water droplets trickled down his muzzle. Turning he padded off again, this time not on any trail, his pointed ears perked, there was a rustle....pawsteps of a rabbit. Gentoru stood stock still, then crouched low to the ground, he slowly stalked towards the small food beast, nose quavering. He stalked closer still, then with an air of expertise, he whipped his paw out, striking the rabbit. It lay there, stunned by his blow. He crouched over it's body and with a few snaps here,and a few gulps there, it was a rabbit no more. His belly full for now, he headed homewards. Lore was a strange little pup, though he realized he had taken Kumai on a walk, he just thought that Gentoru worried about him.....he never really knew how wrong he was. Well, maybe he wasn't, in Gentoru's eyes, he was the only one who could torment his little brother, any other soul dare try.....well, let's just say you don't want to know what he'd do. A stretch and an exagerated yawn was all the greeting Gentoru had for his brother.....he was tired and didn't feel like talking or playing. He never really played anyhow. Trotting to his place in the den, he curling up in his scoop, yawning he let himself drift into a light sleep.
