Well hello! For reasons unknown, you're interested in learning a bit about me. Here's a page where you can learn about my accounts, my friends, my goals and my accomplishments. Enjoy!


My name's Hannah, though many people here call me hanners or handella--I'll answer to it all. (that's me, over there, drawn by the lovely Aquan.) I began playing Neopets on July 7th, 2001 along with my younger sister. Amazingly, I haven't stopped since (thats 9 years)! I am a 22 year old living in the southeastern US, living in a fairly big city not too far from the coast.

I just graduated college and studied a lot of things, mainly Primatology (the study of apes), Human Geography, Africa and Languages. I hope to one day work in a zoo as a gorilla keeper, though I'm headed back to graduate school for my Masters next year. I really enjoy languages and speak Swahili, ASL and Spanish (and am desperately learning Dutch--not going too well!) I am always interested in broadening my language skills, so feel free to contact me in whatever language you're comfortable :)

I love traveling, animals, and Broadway musicals. I spend as much time as I can on road trips, and even sent myself to Africa (Kenya and Tanzania) last summer, where I worked as a teacher. I also LOVE New York City, and seeing Broadway musicals. My very favorites are Wicked, Rent, Next to Normal, 9 to 5, The Lion King, Spring Awakening, and Mamma Mia. (I also REALLY love A Very Potter Musical, but that's not exactly Broadway :P) Here are some of the shows I've seen:



I have always owned horses and have ridden competitively--mainly eventing and dressage, and some western. I currently have four dogs, a cat, a horse, two parrots, and some rabbits. I actually don't know what its like to live without an animal! You can view my pets here. I work as an RTI (kind of like a nurse), riding instructor, and give carriage tours in the city--I like to stay busy. When I'm not doing all of these other things, I really enjoy HTML and CSS.
