History
The Burrow Beyond guild was started June 14th, 2007 by hogwarts4ever09. She envisioned a guild that went beyond people's expectations for the typical HP guild. She wanted one where the members helped own and run it, and made it theirs by personalizing the experience as much as possible. She wanted the guild to be like a family. A group of individuals who had lots of fun learning and sharing their experiences and just generally loving the Harry Potter world J.K. Rowling created for us.
Since then, TBB has been through it's ups and downs, but still going strong thanks to the great bond we have with one another. We are considered an established guild where you won't have to worry about sudden guild closures. And with our current re-vamp project, we plan to be better than ever before. We love new ideas and allow changes that make us grow together as a true guild should.

General Rules *
Including Literacy and Activeness Policies
Let's play fair and follow the rules (both guild and Neo), okay? There's nothing really tricky about it. The Burrow Beyond is a strict semi-literate guild with a no-spam policy. This means we expect you to use competent grammar, and write at least four lines per post with no more than three posts in a row (unless you go over the character limit because you are a talkative witch or wizard =P). Smileys, the occasional use of abbrevations, and common chatspeak such as "lol," "omg," "brb," etc. are okay.
Also, though we are understanding that our members have lives outside of Neo, we'd like to keep the guild active. So we kindly ask that all members try to come on and participate in guild events/activities/posting etc. at least once every 2 weeks. If things get really hectic for you where you know you'll be away longer than 30 days, just let the Headmistress or your Head of House know before hand--and no harm done. (: TBB currently does have periodic member sweeps every so often, so getting into the habit of letting the High Table know what's up for you is a good precaution to take to keep from being cleared from such an amazing HP-related guild when we do happen to perform a necessary member sweep..wouldn't you agree? (;

In my search for a good guild, I hit many bad ends. But a stroke of luck appeared one day on the guild message boards. It was called the Burrow Beyond and when I looked at it I was amazed. All the graphics were made by the leader, Hogwarts, and not premades from other places! I found this very awsome have loved being in the guild ever since. They have kind members that welcomed me with an unbundance of pleasentness and with open arms. This is basically all I do on neo now because it is so much fun. Any lover of Harry Potter or of all things magic would miss out if they passed this guild by. I hope you apply to join us and have a very magical day!

I had been 'guild hopping' for quite some time before I stumbled upon The Burrow Beyond. It was my sister who pointed it out to me. She was actually rubbing it in my face that she had found an awesome guild and I was still guildless. Of course, that made me want to join because I don't like my sister having something that I don't. But what I assumed was just another HP guild, turned out to be one of the best HP guilds, in fact one of the best guilds, in Neopia. The members are fantastic, funny, helpful, warm, kind, generous, and understanding people; the activities and classes are unique and interesting; the graphics are always amazing and the level of activness in astonishing. Now it's almost 3 years later (Let me tell you, that is a LOT of time for me I tend to leave a guild after about 5 months.. my attention span is not that great.), and I am now Slytherin HoH. My sister left, but I am still here and I will be for quite some time. I REALLY do reccomend this guild, I doubt very much that you will regret it. So what are you waiting for? Council
Headmistress Hogwarts || Hogwarts is the owner and leader of TBB. She makes all the (custom!) layouts for the guild, as well as all the coding. She also runs most of the main content on the webbie (apart from the classes and activities) and keeps the guild running smoothly. She also is the one responsible for coming up with all the really cool special features that help make TBB unique. Add to that the fact that she is really easy to talk to and won't bite too hard unless you are n00bish, and you have our awesome Head Miss, Hogwarts! She knows all her HP trivia and also runs a graphic site, (forgottenmagic.org) so she is quite the busy bee.
Head of Hufflepuff, Star || Star is Headmistress Hogwarts's younger sister, so she is always up-to-date on the latest guild happenings. She runs several activities, and teaches Muggle Studies. She is always willing to to help new members find their way, and assist current members with their problems. If you ever need help, feel free to ask Star.
Head of Slytherin, Anna || Anna-sampai is the newest addition to the TBB High Table, but do not underestimate her abilities. She's a very loyal and dedicated member of TBB who has been in the guild almost as long as Star and Hogwarts. She's involved in practically everything in the guild. She helps others but also has her eye set on winning the House Cup for Slytherin. So, watch out. (;
Head of Ravenclaw, Irish || Irish is the main man behind TBB roleplay. Together with Head Girl and fellow Ravenclaw Ace, he put together the whole rp section and runs it wonderfully. He is also in charge of coming up with fun and interesting polls in the guild as well as sharing incredibly amusing Guild Events with us, among his other duties of patrolling for evil-doers and such.

Preparation
Before you fill out the application and send it in, you may want to consider this:
+ We may look at your userlookup, shop, gallery, pets, pet pages, ect. to try and get a feel for who you are. If you are applying for our guild, it wouldn't look good to have ads for other guilds pasted across your lookup.
+ As we are a semi-literate guild, if you're shop, userlookup, ect. is filled with a bunch of chatspeak or derogatory text, we will assume that is the way you always act, and it will count against you.
+ Be respectful to current members. Do not bug them for a 'preview invite'. We don't do that. There are screenies and sufficient info located on this page, and only a select handful of current members are able to invite people anyway.
+ Make sure you are guildless when you apply. If you are currently in another guild, why are you trying to join ours? If you are in a another guild on the account you are applying with, you will be automatically declined.
+ Fill out the whole form. We've turned down quite a few otherwise good applicants because they didn't bother to complete the application.
+ Send in the form on the account you are applying for entry for. We prefer you join the guild with your main account, but joining on your side is also acceptable. But please don't send in the application on your main to seem more impressive. It won't work.
+ Filling out an application does not guarantee you are accepted. Your application will be reviewed by a group of people, and they will decide whether you make the cut or not.

The Application
To apply for the guild, just fill out this application, then neomail it to Headmistress Hogwarts. If the Headmistress' inbox is full, send it to her sister, Star, the Head of Hufflepuff.
You MUST be able to send and recieve neomail in order to apply for the guild.
After you've sent in your application (Neomails may be sent in parts if necessary, or use a petpage). The more info you include, the better chances your chances of getting accepted. You will recieve a confirmation neomail, so you know your application was recieved. This will usually be no later than 48 hours after you send it in. After that, your application will be reviewed by TBB's High Table & elite veterans, (it may take anywhere between 48-72 hours), and they will decide if you will get accepted.
Think that's a long wait? Why not make time go by faster by finding one of our boards on the GC to hang out and chat with us. We'd love to have our company and given the opportunity to get to know you better. (: Just because we are private doesn't mean we exclude from everything public. ;P
When a final decision has been made, you will receive a neomail containing either:
a) The reason(s) why you were declined an invite
- or -
b) That you have been accepted into TBB.
If you were turned down, this could be because you didn't supply enough info, weren't literate enough, were rude, or something else. You may re-submit an application after two weeks. Make sure you review this page to try and see how you can improve your chances.
Please Do NOT:
If you've received an acceptance letter, congratulations! Kudos for you for getting the Golden Ticket! *hands you a sugar quill* As a new member, you will be assigned a prefect to help guide you around the guild until you get comfortable doing it on your own. They will answer questions you may have, as well as point you in the right direction of your common room, HoH, or anything else you may require. :D
