Hi, I'm Cinnamon. (Please call me that, 'kay? ^^) You've just stumbled on my rules for adopting my fosters. (Stumbled? Is that all? Don't you want to adopt these babies?) Yes, they're all up for adoption. Be sure to read all of the rules before applying.

Note: Threatening or offering bribes will not help you get anywhere. These pets are NOT for sale or trade; I do not sell or trade pets. The only fee you will come across during this process is one charged by the Pound. Also, remember that just because you apply does not mean you'll be picked.

the rules

1. Read this entire page before doing anything. Honestly, it isn't that long. ^__^

2. I only require a questionnaire application. I do not require petpage applications but I quite enjoy them. :3 Just make sure to write a note on any petpage apps saying I didn't require you to make it; it was of your own free will. Please, for the sake of both our accounts!

3. Don't forget, all of the pets up for adoption have names and genders; use them correctly. (If you'd like to change the gender of your pet, let me know in the application. I can provide gender changes for all pets on _cinnamon_105 and _applegirl_.)

4. Please use proper spelling and grammar. Smilies are fine in moderation.

5. Include the The Neopian Orphanage's Pledge of Good Ownership somewhere public, like your userlookup or shop.

6. Make sure your current pets look well-cared for. Happy pets are important. Personalities, petlookups, customization, petpages, etc, are just as important - I require that at least two of your pets have some sort of petlookup that indicates a personality. See Tips for Success for more info.

7. Send applications to _applegirl only, with the words "Application: [Petname]" as the title of the neomail.

Fill out the following questionnaire and send it to _applegirl with the title "Application: [Petname]".

1. What Neo account you wish to adopt [pet]?
2. List all of your Neo accounts.
3. What are your plans for [pet]?
4. Describe [pet]'s personality to me.
5. If you could nominate one of your current pets as an example of how you would treat [pet], who would you nominate?

Please answer the following statement yes or no.

6. I accept that I may not be chosen to adopt [pet].
7. I care about [pet] and I'm sincere in this application; I don't plan to trade or refoster [pet].
8. I will contact Cinnamon if I no longer want to keep [pet].

Questions 3 and 4 are very important ones and I highly suggest you spend time on them. I want to know your plans for this pet - will you write stories about the pet? write poetry? draw the pet? enter in the Beauty Contest? customize? train and use the battledome? make a petpage? Saying "I'll play with her every day!" isn't quite enough. Also, I want to know how you see this pet; what is her personality? Be descriptive.

tips for success

The most important thing you can do is clean up your account before you apply. I always look over your account. Specifically, I look over your pets. Do your pets have:
- personalities?
(this is the most important one to me!)
- petlookups?
(also very important! but there's nothing wrong with premades)
- petpages?
- stories or art?
- petpets?
- good stats or high intelligence?
- customization?

Obviously, your pets don't have to have all of these, but the more looked after your pets look the better. ^__^ Show me by example: you can promise to customize, draw, and train the pet you're applying for, but if none of your current pets have customization, art or reasonable stats, why would I believe you?

Below is The Neopian Orphanage's Pledge of Good Ownership. Please put it somewhere public, like on your userlookup or shop front.

If I am chosen, I, (your name) , pledge to be the best owner I can be for my new Neopet, (pet's name) . I understand all the sadness that he/she has already been through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

obviously, replace (pet's name) with the name of the pet and he/she with the pet's correct gender. :3
