My parents were devastated by the loss of my brother. Everyone in the pack was convinced that he had been eaten or starved in the forest. But Mom, Dad and I refused to believe it; we knew he was still alive.

My childhood was filled with many fond memories. I spent most of my time playing with other pups in the pack, or getting lessons from my parents. They taught me everything, from hunting to wrestling, manners to swimming. I loved my parents very much.

I was a very curious Lupe pup. I loved exploring the neighboring forest, but my parents and the other adults in the pack made sure that I didn't go far. One night, my curiosity took over me. While my parents and the rest of the pack were sleeping, I snuck out and wandered farther away from the safety of the pack then I ever had before. I felt brave and strong, and made believe that I was the Alpha Lupe of the pack.

The darkness confused me, and before I knew it I was in a part of the forest that I didn't recognize. I thought that it would be best to make my way home before everyone woke up. I turned around to follow my tracks, but I didn't recognize ANY of the forest around me. I was lost.

I began to panic. Terrified, I wailed for my mother and father. Every noise of the forest startled me as I stumbled around in the darkness trying to find my way back to my family. The darkness of night left my vision very limited. I lost my footing and stumbled down a cliff.

I tumbled and rolled down the rocky slope, scraping my tiny paws and muzzle as I went. I came to a crashing stop, and precariously got to my feet. My paw hurt a great deal, and it pained me to stand on it. I was petrified, alone, hungry and injured. I wasn't sure what to do. I walked as far as I could in the darkness. It felt like I walked for hours. I sobbed softly as I went, not wanting to alert other, more dangerous Neopets to my solitude.

My hopes were raised when I suddenly noticed a light in the distance. I picked up my pace, going as fast as I could with my wounded leg. I ran until I came to a clearing where a tent, and a lantern stood. Smoke was bellowing from where a fire had been recently put out. The camp was unfamiliar to me, as I had never had human contact.

I whimpered when I came to the conclusion that no one was here to help me. I turned around and started to leave when I heard a noise. I turned around and to my surprise, a girl and a Zafara emerged from the tent. I was terrified. I had never seen a human before. I couldn't move, not only because my fear paralyzed me, but also because the pain in my leg had become unbearable.

The girl approached me, assuring me that she wouldn't hurt me, and wanted to help. Her voice soothed me, and I allowed her to look over my injuries. That night she cleaned and dressed my wounds, gave me food and water, and gave me warm blankets to sleep on.

I learned that the girl's name was Ravenclawyoshi, and her Zafara companion's name was Theodore. They were out in the forest on a camping trip, and were just getting ready to go back home. They befriended me and I went home with them.

Over the next few months, Ravenclawyoshi taught me all about Neopia, and told me about how Theodore had become her Neopet. I adored Ravenclawyoshi and Theo, and wanted to be adopted into their family. After a long time, I was finally a REAL part of their family.

I cherished being part of a family again. Ravenclawyoshi and Theodore gave me the feeling that reminded me of my parents, and the rest of my pack. I soon had a younger sister and brother to love too. ChuChu and Kovu joined our family shortly after I did. I met my best friend, Godric, who is also my cousin. I met Lupo, Rosi, Grover, Boomer, and the rest of my cousins, as well as my aunts.

I was growing bigger by the day, and new discoveries and experiences allowed me to grow physically as well as mentally. I loved my new family and friends more than anything in the world, but I felt like a piece of me was missing. I missed my parents, and the companionship of the Lupes in my pack. I sometimes felt all alone, and exiled.

Ravenclawyoshi realized that something was wrong. She talked to a friend of hers named Aqua. Aqua was the owner of a blue Lupess named Misty. Ravenclawyoshi and Aqua decided to have us meet.

Even though we were still very young, Misty and I hit it off. She became one of my best friends. She and I started to grow up together, and before we knew it, the years had flown by and we were adults. Our friendship grew stronger every day. We decided to take our relationship to the next level. Misty became my steady girlfriend, and still is today.

She and I enjoy each other's company, and spend every moment possible together. My favorite thing to do with her is a moonlit walk on the beach. She gave me my favorite red bandana, which I always wear. I love Misty with all my heart, and truly believe that she is the one who brought me out of my pit of darkness. She taught me how to love, how to cherish life. She helped me to realize that my life wasn't a waste. Misty has been my guardian angel, and I believe that she and I will be together forever. She is the love of my life.

It wasn't long before Ravenclawyoshi found out that I wanted to be painted. A friend of hers, Aunt BBT, got her a Skunk Paintbrush for her 18th birthday. She surprised me and painted me the color that I had been wishing for since I was a kid. I loved being skunk, though I missed my green color. It reminded me of my childhood, of my parents, of my past life. I felt relieved after being painted, though. I felt like a burden had been lifted from me, and I could finally start my new life.

Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve what happened next. My dearest mate, Misty, contracted a rare and mysterious disease. She didn't improve, and though I did all I could, I lost her. Now I am a loner…a wanderer…a rogue…alone. I miss Misty terribly. I haven't dealt with the loss as well as I probably should. I spend a lot of my time alone in the forest. I sometimes find it hard to socialize, and often enjoy solitude. Although Misty is gone in body, she will never be gone in spirit. When I see the stars or hear the wind, I am reminded of her. She is all around me, and I know that she is watching over me.

I still live happily with my owner, and my two brothers and my sister. I still love Misty with all my heart. But everyday I think of my parents, and my lost brother. I still love them all deeply, and truly believe that I will see them again.
