My name's Gabreilla. I'm a gray Accara, obviously.

I was zapped gray by my mother on June 23, 2006. I used to be the lab pet (mother had currently had me painted split) and I changed color to gray and mother decided that I wouldn't be zapped anymore, although I didn't really mind it much. Usually the ray just raised my attack, but one time I changed gender. Thankfully, I was changed back.

I was abandoned by my previous owner.. left to fend for myself, fighting for scraps of food in the pound, watching everyday pass by as all the other pets around me got picked and I sat there.. alone. Then, in came _faerie_dust_2008.. she saw me and right away began to give the neopoints to take me home with her. As soon as she got me home, she healed me, gave me a bath and washed my dirty, matted fir, fed me, and gave me my very own petpet, Sunshine. She has always taken such good care of me, and even though I'm gray, she and Sunshine always fill my life with happiness. There's also my siblings. Mother adopted Queeny as well, and now she's the labpet, although she likes it; she thinks it's cool to gain stats points and change colors, she's the wild one in the family. MysticalKau was adopted as well, but mother was lucky enough to get a fountain faerie quest and was able to paint her her lovely color now.

The joy in my life is Sunshine. Although we are both gray, she always seems to cheer me up and I her. Mother so graciously gave me a petpet and right after I was changed gray, she was zapped gray. It was meant to be. I love my mother, family, and Sunshine so very much. They are the only joy I have in this harsh, cold, heartless world.

Being in the pound has made me the stong pet you see before you. You had to fight to survive and I'm a survivor. There was no telling when the next time you would be able to eat. I don't regret my pound days, they have just made me strong, although I much like my life here with my family instead of the harshness of the pound with that cruel techno.. always talking down to me and treating me like trash.. Thank you mother.. for saving me.

Mother tells me I'm the most beautiful thing she has ever seen and has enlisted me in the beauty contest, starting Febuary 23. The image you see below, she originally drew in pencil and then scanned it and used a graphics program to fill in the right colors. I'm very grateful she took the time to draw me and made me look pleasant. She knows me so well.

Neopets has, as you know, a file size limit. The image I entered is MUCH more scaled down than this one. I had to scale it down quite a bit to meet requirements. Although you can still tell what it is, it looks much better its original size. I would be so grateful and honored if you would spare me a vote in the contest. This is my first attempt at the beauty contest and I hope to do well, so any vote is GREATLY appreciated!
