Why Spyra?

My real life name is Sarah, yet I don't let anyone call me that. I like to go by Spyra, which is sorta like a fan thing for Spyro the dragon, my favorite game character of all time. In real life, I spend all of my time online_ I only get off line to take care of my dogs, help my grandmother, or if I'm asked to do an errand. I'm on for a little while when I have friends over, but I try and get on as long as I can. I'm also twelve years old, my birthday is on February 9th. I live in Oklahoma with my grandparents and occasionally I live in Arkansas when I go with my dad to his job site, if I go I'm gone for a week or two. I'm also in a band called "Midnights Reign", I'm the lead singer and I write the lyrics (I wrote the opening lyrics to "Inner Sinner".) with my three friends, Bret, Brittany, and Nathaniel.

On neopets, my full name is Spyra Lovlie Foxess. I'm a twelve year old that loves to draw and roleplay. I'm the owner of a private guild called "The Xweetok Jungle", which is a place for other xweetok artist and roleplayers like myself. I have honestly never been frozen before. I've been suspended once, and that was for defending a friend on the neoboards. I wasn't suspended for bad language or anything. I was suspended for starting a fight. I own a few more accounts, but this is my oldest account that I have access to. I've been on neopets for about five years. I started when I was seven. Yes, that's a true statement. But I lost my computer access for about a year, and I forgot my account name and my pets names (They had bad names, meaning alot of numbers and underscores..). So I lost that account. Thus, this account was made. As I said before, I'm online all day, every day, (Well, once or twice I go to a friends house.). I'm also on just about all night (Till about three or four in the morning) on weekends and in the summer. A typical day on neopets is I check my mail, I do the dailies, then I go check the messages and such at my guild. I'll work on some petpages for a bit, or even go to the roleplay boards or the beauty contest boards to check things out.

Why Not Spyra?

I'm not perfect. I sometimes have days where I just want to drop everything and go lie down because of nothing going right. Like I said before, I'm steady at doing things, which makes me slow. Too slow. I'm also lazy with things, I don't sleep much which makes me tired in the day and I don't really feel like doing anything, just setting there and staring at the computer screen. Sometimes typing is hard for me. There is a big list of things that I've said I'm going to draw or do. I get to doing it, then when I start I have a second thought and drop everything and go onto something else, which is an extremely bad quality for me and I wish I didn't have it, if so this feature to my application would be 10 x's better.

Why Kift?

Honestly, at first, I never wanted to apply for a pet. I went to neopound to snoop around, I clicked on the adopt page and went to xweetoks. Two seconds later, I saw Kift. I felt as if my heart jumped out of my chest. I was (and still am) amazed my Kift gorgeous name. It's so simple, yet it shouts so many things! It's a cute, yet powerful name. I don't care much for color, I would have adopted her if she was a yellow xweetok that I saw while I was pound-surfing. But when I saw her, a design popped up in my head. A personality followed the design and I began to quickly sketch it on paper. As I designed Kift, my heart began to return to me, yet it was stolen by none other than the wonderful Kift Raendi Truaic.

Plans for Kift

I swear to treat Kift with the same love and respect as my pets, yet I'll give her a little more than my pets. If I am chosen as Kift's official owner, I promise to roleplay and draw her. I swear to never neglect her. I'm wanting to give Kift a petpage. No; I will give Kift a petpage. The second I own her (If I'm chosen) I will create her petpage, I will complete her petpage and put my heart and soul into it. Like I just said, I'll roleplay with her. I absolutely love to roleplay. It's my favorite thing to do next to drawing. Kift will be given as much roleplay as I can get her, yet, I do have other pets to be cared for, so I'll give her a fair amount. I sometimes will enter the beauty contest. It's not a thing I do all the time, but maybe once a month or so. I've decided that if I'm the owner of Kift, then I'm going to enter her in the beauty contest a few times, and perhaps put her in the pet spotlight. Kift will most likely become my trophie pet, meaning that I'll try and win her as many awards as possible. It might take some time, but I'm wanting to start out with getting at least three trophies for Kift. I have plenty other plans for Kift, yet they will be able to open their wings and soar if I'm chosen as the new owner for Kift.

Me/Kift/Underlined - Maya/Nia/Normal

As twilight struck the land with an orange-like glow, the splashing of water hit the xweetoks face. She frowned a bit and began to move away from the water. She listened as the rapid waves began to beat on the water's surface. The aura surrounding Kift appeared almost invisible, yet it still ingered around her. Kift lied beside the water's edge, her paws sitting stiff in the water. Kift pulled her paws up, water dripping down from her teal-colored paws.

The pale-blue, almost white pelt of a female Xweetok shimmered in the twilight's serene glow. Her icy wrists and necklace shone like stars in the light, her long hair falling over her right eye. She stood, her posture stiff but graceful. Nia blinked, checking her surroundings, and as she did so, she spotted Kift. She smiled kindly and began to pad over to the Xweetok at a fairly normal pace, her body slightly giving off an aura of cold.

Kift's ears perked up as she heard the xweetok moving behind her. She turned her head slightly and saw Nia moving twords her. Kift stood and turned completely around, taking a few steps forward to avoid falling back into the water. Kift's ears folded back down to their original state. Kift's head cocked to the side a bit as Nia moved closer. Her eyes glanced up at the orange sky as she sun began to hide behind the horizon.
Nia edged closer to Kift, blinkning again. She brushed her paw against the earth and looked up at Kift. "I am not going to attack you," She assured Kift, smiling. "My name is Nia of the land Opaldi."

Kift blinked a few times, "Nia..", she whispered under her breath, looking down a bit. A large smile jumped on Kift's face, she looked up at Nia, "My name's Kift." she said openly.

Nia nodded, still smiling. "Pleased to meet you, Kift." Her gaze moved to the sky for a moment, then reverted back to Kift. "Nice name," She complimented.

Kift's attention also moved to the sky. She stared blankly at the sky, almost forgetting Nia's presence. Kift suddenly looked to Nia, blinking a few times, a dazed look upon her face. "Uh, pardon?" She asked, feeling a bit embaressed.

Nia chuckled, obviously amused. "It's nothing important, I only complimented your name." She looked at the sky again, smiling gently. "It's beautiful isn't it? The colors of the sky... it looks like someone painted it."

Oh.." Kift mumbled, "Well, thanks..", she added. Kift's eyes followed Nia's, looking twords the same section of the twilight as she did. Kift nodded, "True.", she replied as she turned and looked twords the water which cast an orange-like glow.

Me/Kift/Underlined - Brittany/Ethony/Normal

The ghost xweetok lied as still as she could, blinking occasionally as her rest her head atop her left paw, the other drooping lightly off the edge of the strong tree-branch. She shifted her eyes to the sky, a few stars struck the twilight with their glory. Kift sat up, her back leaned against the trunk of the tree. She held her paws a foot away from each other, horizontally. Seconds later, a group of stars danced joyfully in her paws. Kift slightly laughed to herself.

Ethony walked below the tree with kift in it she looked up when she heard the sound and began to climb up the tree

Kift's paws hit eachother. The stars vanished. Kift peered her head over the side of the branch, noticing a blue xweetok climbing up the side. She jumped to her paws, looking down at the xweetok as she came closer and closer.

Ethony began to clime up the treetrunk she looked at kift when she did she began to climb higher and faster then she stood on the treetrunk with kift "whats yor name????????" she said.

Kift stared at the xweetok. "Kift." She stated to the stranger. She became a bit nervous and began to slightly shake.

State your bisnuess." ethony shouted at kift.

Kift frowned, as the moon began to rise, the sparkle in her eyes slowly died. The smell of death crawled in the air around them. Kift became a bit angry, a growl exhaled from her chest.

Ethony looked at kift "tell me now!!!!!!!!!!!!" she said staring at kifts eys.

Kift stared angrily at Ethony, refusing to speak. The area becoming lit by the moon that sat beside the two, casting a shadow, speaking of the twos actions.

Ethony claud at kift she spitted out ice from her mouth at kift too.

Kift jumped back a bit, avoiding the attack, yet not fast enough to miss Ethony's ice attack.

Ethony jumped out of the tree and began to run off away from kift.

A few drops of melted ice fell from Kift's pelt. She stared at Ethony as she ran away from the short battle, a small snarl made it's way out of Kift's mouth.

Meet the Family

Bounder was my first pet for me to create. I named him after a character in one of my childhood books, I can't remember the books title, but I remember one of the characters name being Bounder. Bounder is a very protective xweetok, he takes others before himself during battles, or anytime, really. Bounder's also very quiet, he keeps his feelings to himself and only speaks when It's found necessary. Bounder's not much of a public xweetok, really, he gets into pointless fights when a little, remark is made about himself or his family. Even if it is a joke. Bounder never really had the best past, which is why he's so quiet and protective over things. Bounder is my most cherishable pet, being my first, I don't believe that there is a thing in the world that could break my bond with him. (Even if my friends and I tease him alot.)

Ivory was my second pet, I really cherish Ivory. When I first got her, I didn't really like her that much and I was going to pound her, but then I became attached to her the more I had her so I decided to keep her. When I have Ivory as my active pet, I always have good luck. Nothing bad ever happens to her or I. I always win rare items on the wheels and even the snow ager. Ivory's had a few revamps in her design, but never on character. Ivory's shy and quiet, yet she is a bit brave and protective. Ivory has the power to bring things to life and even heal them, but she must deal with the pain when she does. I don't believe that I'd have the power to ever get rid of Ivory, I couldn't even transfer her to a different account on the transfer thing on the Neo-pound. I do honestly care alot for Ivory, some might not notice it since I don't draw her that often, but if one needs art to show love, then love and art is merely a lie. I do love Ivory.

Forgotten was my third and final pet to talk about. When I first designed Forgotten I became emotionally attached to her, I couldn't stop thinking about her and all the ideas I had for her. Forgotten isn't completely sadistic, yet she does have some moments where she completely breaks down. Forgotten has two sides, an evil and dark side, and a calm and caring side. The dark side comes forward during the night. When Forgotten was a kit, a demon would follow her and terrorize her, the demon spoke of the things that it would do to her entire family. One night, the demon attacked her sister and killed her. Forgotten shouted at the demon and told the demon to leave her family alone, when she did, she demon told her that if she didn't allow the demon into her body during the night then she'd kill her family and friends and leave her alive to suffer. Forgotten agreed. Since then, during the night Forgotten has no control over her body. Forgotten is a fun character to roleplay with when she's not a demon, Forgotten's a free spirit during the day, she lives her life to the fullest and tried to bring joy when one is down. Forgotten would go to a complete stranger and try to cheer them up if they were upset. I have a connection with Forgotten, I would never be able to get rid of her, nor could I even imagine giving her up.

I do have plenty more characters that I could show you, but if I did try and present them all then my hand would most likely fall off. Yes. I have alot of characters. That was only the three that are currently living on this account.

Heya Dragon!
The name's Maya, and I'm a friend of Spyra's. C: As you and I both know she is applying for your Xweetok Kift, and I'm here to tell you just how wonderful an owner she'd be! Spyra is an amazing songwriter and poet, and quite honestly a lot of her songs have put me in an unbreakable trance, and even inspired me to write my own poetry (I couldn't write songs if I wanted to, I just can't pick out decent tunes. XD). Her art has improved a lot over the years I've known her and I'm sure her skills would be put to good use for Kift, as you can already see they have. -points to various pictures Spyra has drawn of Kift- In other words, Spyra'd draw Kift a lot, I can assure you that. Besides her various incredible talents, Spyra has the greatest quality anyone could ever have--that of being a true and loyal friend. I've known her for quite some time now (over 2 years, I believe, I'm not entirely sure), and I've learned she's got an awesome personality and is a great friend to me and others too. ^^ You can tell Spyra really adores Kift by the endless amount of effort she's put into her application, and Kift's design is gorgeous. I'm sure Spyra sent you a wonderful neomail application, judging by the quality of her petpage application (or maybe dedication would be a better way to put it)! Overall Spyra would be an almost-perfect (everyone has a few flaws, of course!) owner for Kift and I can guarantee that she'll be the best she can be to your lovely ghost Xweetok if she were to adopt her. ^^ On that note, I bid you farewell and Spyra the best of luck! -Maya

After all of the dedication and work I put into Kift's application, I believe that whoever is the rightful owner for Kift (Hopefully me.) treats her with care and love and never neglects her. I believe that Kift is a beautiful creature that deserves every drop of love that one could offer. If I'm not chosen as the new owner for Kift, I will not re-create her. I will not draw her. I will have her locked up in my heart and my mind to wonder around with my imagination and try to mend my broken heart. There will never be another Kift, though. There is only one Kift in this world that means everything to me.
