Hi guest, I am Right… And I am Might! – Hey, wait a moment, if I am Might, this means I am the V2! But I wanted to be the Classic! No chance, dude, I am Right, therefore I am Classic, and now hush! We want to start the Overview! | ___

1. V2 is for free, Classics are not. With V2 you simply choose the location/land you'd like to live and the house that goes with it and that's it. With Classics you apply for a plot of land, which, depending on the location, costs a different amount of NP. 2. V2 homes look all the same, Classics not. Every house of one location looks the same with V2 and all V2 homes, regardless of the land, look the same on the inside before you start furnishing. With a total of 75 possible rooms and the various room building material, no Classic looks like the other. 3. V2 comes with only one room and one garden, Classics not. With V2 you have one preset garden and inside the house you have only one large room. In order to have more rooms you have to partition it. Additions which can be bought at the NC Mall like anterooms or towers can't be accessed for furnishing. With Classics you are given three floors and 25 squares per floor on which to build rooms. Rooms on the ground floor may be gardens instead. All possible 75 rooms are accessible for furnishing. 4. With V2 all available items may go anywhere, Classics differentiates between home and garden. With V2 flowers, bushes and trees may go in both the garden and the house, as well as any bed, wardrobe, table, etc. working in both home or garden. With Classics only furniture can go into the rooms and only gardening items can go into gardens. 5. V2 only knows 90 degree rotation, Classics have steps of 10 degrees, thus allowing a more natural placement of the items. Except for the gardens, there Classics only give the option to flip over an item for the mirror image. 6. V2 has 3-D-view, Classics have birdview. At least in the rooms. In the gardens, Classics too, have 3-D-view. And though it is nice to have a wardrobe actually looking like a wardrobe instead of a flat, mostly rectangular looking form with V2, one is also a tad limited when it comes to creating illusions. With Classics you can create a multitude of furnishing items by cleverly assembling other items, using the bird view to create this illusion. Like pianofortes or TVs or computers. Plus with 75 possible rooms you are not likely to run out of space to try out any of those creative ideas you have, while with V2 your space is quite limited. 7. V2 allows easy change of wall colours and flooring, Classics require a multitude of items to achieve this. (Not to mention almost boundless patience.) For V2 you can buy wall paint at the Neohome superstore at the bazaar, at the Igloo Garage sale or fancy wallpaper at the NC Mall. Same goes for floor tiles. However, you are stuck with pre-set width for the strips of wall paint and a pre-set size for the floor tiles. With Classics once again you use the fact that all items appear in bird-view to create the illusion of walls being papered or floors being tiled if you want to change the look of the room material you built your room with. But since you can use any furnishing item to create this illusion, you can create more interesting patterns, even mosaics on the floor or murals on the walls. 8. V2 allows your pets to go into the house or garden, Classics not. With V2 you simply choose your pet from the neohome toolbar and drag it into your home, then save it. With Classics you would have to use items to create the illusion of your Pet being inside your neohome. 9. V2 relies on your drag-and-drop-skills, Classics allow precision placement. Besides dragging an item in the general direction with the mouse/touchpad, Classics has a tool with which you can move items by one pixel at a time or 10 pixels at a time, thus allowing a more precise placement of the items. You can also lock an item once you placed it so that you don't move it accidentally. With V2 all you can do is drag and drop the item and try for as precise a placement with your mouse as possible. Also there is no lock option, so if you want to move another item close to the first one good luck to you and keep your fingers crossed you don't accidentally move the first one. 10. V2 take a long time to load, Classics not. Since most items from the NC Mall are animated (they sparkle, they flow, they rustle), they take up a lot of traffic and CPU power to load. This also goes for any item your pets wear if you put them in your home because they will wear them except for the background. The ability to load those animated items is inherent to all V2 homes, so regardless if there are actually animated items in the home, they take their time and traffic to load. Some older computers and/or slower internet connections are not able to load them at all. With Classics loading time is limited to 30 seconds. Any item that is not loaded within that time is simply shown as a small yellow square. But even if you happen to come upon the so called browser-killer, which is a room that takes a few reloads, those rooms still load faster then most V2 homes, because any item loaded successfully at the previous loading-attempt is now saved in the temporary internet files and therefore loads faster. 11. V2 you can't give back, Classics can be sold. With V2 you are given the choice of location once. And I do mean ONCE! Once you made your choice you can't give it back, you can't sell it, you can't change the location, you are stuck with it. There is not even the hint of a rumour that this might change someday. (So be careful with your choice and keep your younger family members from creating a V2 on your account if you don't want one.) Classics can be sold back to the bank as long as you have at least one room on your plot of land. (This changed, so don't demolish all your rooms!) So with Classics you can move to a different location, from Neopia Central to Maraqua to Shenkuu to Terror Mountain, etc. 12. V2 has the spotlight, Classics not. Despite being new, despite taking long time to load and despite being very often glitch-infested, the Neohome Spotlight is now given to the V2 homes. Classics are now only for fun and recognition can only be gotten from fellow neohomers by showing rooms to each other and talking about them on the boards. | ____
