Welcome Reduxians!

Welcome, one and all to the Reduxian Adoption Agency! -tosses confetti- Looking to add a new member to your family, or perhaps find a new home for one of your pets? Then you've come to the right place! Here at the Reduxian Adoption Agency, we're dedicated to helping Reduxians with both adoption and finding a new home for some of their pets. Feel free to look around, and while you're at it, why not apply or submit a pet? You might be in for a pleasant surprise. :* -♥Candi

The Two Agencies

There are currently two agencies available. The first agency is the Reduxian Agency, which is open to Reduxians only. It's our way of saying "thanks!" for being an active member. Any Reduxian is able to contribute to this agency. The second is the Public Agency, which is run by Kitkat. The Public Agency is open to both Reduxians and the public. When a pet is added to this agency, they will be only available here for a week. After a week, that pet will be added to the Public Agency as well, meaning that you'll have more people to compete with when it comes to adoptions. So, if a particular pet happens to catch your eye, yet you aren't entirely sure whether you want to adopt or not, I'd say, go for it! If you don't within a week of the pet's addition to the agency, you'll have even more competition in the Public Agency. Also, when you are submitting a pet, you may request to have your pet only added to the Reduxian Agency, or the Public Agency only.

The Adoption Agency Angels

Candi's job is to run the Reduxian Adoption Agency. She makes sure that adoptions go smoothly, keeps records of the adoptions, helps Reduxians find the potential pet, etc. If you have any questions or concerns about this agency, then you may feel free to contact Candi (me!)
Kitkat's job is to run the public agency. She makes sure that all the adoptions go smoothly there, keeps records of adoptions, helps people find their potential pet, etc. If you have any questions or concerns about the public agency, then you may feel free to neomail Kitkat. Update! Kitkat has just recently earned the lab ray, (congratz, Kitkat!) and she is now able to zap pets as well. =)
Lizard's job is to help advertize both of the agencies to Redux and the public, find pets belonging to Reduxians and the public that can be added to the agencies, zap pets, etc. You may also neomail the form to add pets to Lizard if either Kitkat or I are not available.

Rules For Applying

1. As stated before, this agency is only available to Redux members. So if you are not currently a member of Redux, you may feel free to check out the public agency.
2. To adopt, your rank must be at least Tasu or above. That is to just insure that people don't join just for a better chance of adoption.
3. Literacy is a MUST in your application. That means no chatspeak, use proper grammar and use complete sentences. Stick to Redux's literacy code in your application!
4. As you should know, it is now against the rules to require petpage applications. But, you are still allowed to make them if you wish, and they are worth brownie points!
5. Only neomail any applications/questions to the username listed, and be sure to follow all of the rules listed.
6. Have fun with your application! Be sure to show who you really are. Don't be afraid to come out of your shell a bit! Be crazy, be original, and just have a good time with your application.

Guidelines For Your Application

Here are some guidelines for making your application. Keep in mind that these are just some suggestions of what to include, and not requirements. Putting these in will give you brownie points, or course. Be sure to be creative and original as well!

1. Talk a little about yourself. Have a section dedicated to your life both on and off Neopets. You can talk about your hobbies on and off Neo, pets, something you collect, sports, games you like to play, your side accounts, how long you've played Neo, etc.
2. Poetry and short stories are a nice touch. Role play examples are also nice to add. Remember to be creative and to make it all your own!
3. Talk about any future plans you may have for the pet. Do you plan on entering the beauty contest? Are you going to roleplay? Will the pet have a personality, web page, or petpet? Remember to always be honest. Don't talk about plans or roleplaying if you've never even roleplayed before.
4. If you do choose to do a petpage application, it is nice to make your own layout rather than using a premade one. Don't worry if you aren't a graphics wiz, you can check out the HTML guide, or you ask a friend to make you a layout. Remember to give them credit!
5. Use the correct gender. It's a no brainer.
6. Just remember to be patient with the owner. Don't pester them everyday with neomails! Give them a chance to think over their decision.

Submitting a Pet

Are you interested in submitting a pet to the agency? Then neomail the following form to Candi and your pet will be added ASAP. Please make sure that your pet is either painted or limited edition. If not, then a pet with a very good name and or high stats will be acceptable as well.
