A little bit about Tuna...

My name is Tuna (yes, the fish!). I'm from Melbourne, Australia -- a place where kangaroos flourish like the sheep of New Zealand, and public transportation is almost non-existent. In my spare time I enjoy going on Neopets, unicycling, reading Terry Pratchett's novels, writing and eating delicious food!

As a Neopets user, I love pampering my neopets, participating in plots and the Altador Cup, writing stories, and entering a wide range of creative-based contests around Neopia! This account (artillerie) isn't my first main account, it's my second (after tuenman) -- I felt like a little change and a fresh new start on Neopets. On my previous main account I had my first and only NT submission (here). This was from a few years back and I'm hoping to enter more submissions to the NT in the future! I'm not a creator of pets, if I want to have have another pet in the family I'll pound surf and adopt one, or apply to adopt! :)

Foreword

He, Master Ko, speaks in a strange form of writing. The first time I heard Master Ko recite -- with much idiosyncrasy -- outside the Wishing Well, I knew this was something worth keeping a record of. I remember it being a typical autumn afternoon with a cool breeze, which had exemplified his more amusing than irritating eccentricity. He was standing on a makeshift platform of shrub and tree bark, waving around a cane (presumably aided his walking) adorned with sparkling small trinkets. Over the year, I have been able to conjure up a collection of his lyrical storytelling into a report -- an assisted diary you could say. Each month is different. Different verse, different topic, different words. Sometimes he harangues about "whippersnappers", and sometimes he gives anecdotes about, well, things that I am unfortunately unable to comprehend.

I hope you will be able to appreciate Master Ko's frequent recitals through my records. If you have the time during the afternoon, I highly recommend visiting him just outside the Wishing Well, he is a true Neopian treasure.
