Well, why don't you just check us out, either way? By the way, I'm Heather, the leader and co-founder of this wonderous guild :3 You may also know me as ROSEBUGGIE12. Well, let's continue, shall we?
Zorc N' Pals is a literate+ YUGIOH ROLEPLAY guild. Pretty unique, right? I mean, how many of those do you see everyday? Yup, that's what I thought! *cough* Um . . . let's continue! Like I said before, we have 12 super special awesome members. We are listed here:

As of now, Zorc N' Pals will be SEMI-PRIVATE. What does that mean? Well, that means that the guild itself with be public, so you can join freely, but in order to join you must fill out an application! Here it is!

Application

NAME: What you prefer to be called.
AGE: Optional ^^
LITERACY: How literate do you call yourself? 1-10, ten being advanced.
ACTIVENESS: How active do you thing you are? 1-10, ten being on every day.
HTML/CSS? Can you make any type of graphics?

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about Rules, shall we? Ugh, I know what you're thinking: Rules! Oh, no! But don't worry, guest, our rules are simple :3 So let's not waste any more time! The quicker you join, the quicker you can be involved ;D

Rules

I. Follow TNT's Rules! This is pretty easy, right? If you don't know what the rules are for them, I suggest you look them up ^^
II. Be Literate. That means no talking le!k th!5 and whatnot. We allow smilies. Where would the extreme emotion be without smilies?!?!?! :D XD :o :x 'brb' and 'gtg' are okay once in awhile. Also, literacy means good-sized paragraphs in roleplay. I know about writer's block, and one-liners are unaviodable. Once in a while, we'll accept that ^^
III. Use Some Form of 'OOC' and 'BIC'. I myself use 'ooc: this for ooc', and 'this for bic'. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as it's noticable ;D
IV. No God-Modeling or Power-Playing. God-modeling, when applied to Yugioh, means no Egyptian God cards, or anything like that, or indestructable cards. All cards have weaknesses ;) It keeps the roleplay fair. And power-playing is roleplaying as other people's characters without permission. If someone says, "Hey, you can roleplay so-and-so", you can ^^ But other than that, NO POWER PLAYING!!!! Thanks :x
V. Enable Guild Mailing! This is so you can receive any mail that I or the co-owner Daniel send to the members.
VI. No 'OOC' Fights! Please leave the fights and duel to the roleplay. If you do argue and call each other names and another member witnesses it, he/she is allowed to tell anyone on the council, and what goes on goes on :3
VII. Have fun! This is the most important rule ^^ It's real simple, right?

Now on to the consequences :/ Did I spell that right? I'm not sure . . . Don't worry, though. This will be really quick:

Concequences

FIRST OFFENCE: If you break the rules for the first time, you'll just get a warning.
SECOND OFFENCE: Even if you forget the first time, if you break another rule or the same rule twice, you'll be given one more warning, and you'll loose a rank. If you're on the council, you'll be placed as an Obelisk White (the ranks are listed below).
THIRD OFFENCE: Hopefully no one will go this far or beyond, but this is here so you know what'll happen if you do :/ Third time you break a rule, you'll be suspended. For how long depends on the rule you broke.
FOURTH OFFENCE: Fourth time's the charm (I know it's three times the charm, but who counts here). If you break yet another rule, you'll be deleted from the guild. Whether you can rejoin or not depends on the mood the council's in with you. But if you do rejoin, you'll start from the very beginning.

See, that wasn't so hard! Just don't break the rules and you'll be fine ^^ Now, onto the ranks. They are from Yugioh GX, so they may look familar . . . Anyway, these are the ranks, and how to earn them.

Ranks

UNDETERMINED: Starting rank. You earn this by joining ^^
SLIFER RED: The lowest rank in Duel Academy. It's named after Yugi's God Card Slifer the Sky Dragon. In the anime, the Slifers are known as Slifer Slackers. But none of you guys are, right? Yeah, sure . . . you earn this by posting 50 times.
RA YELLOW: This is the next rank. It is named after Marik's Winged Dragon of Ra. You earn this by posting 100 times. Yay ^^
OBELISK BLUE: This is the highest rank in the anime, but not for the guild ^^ This class was named after Kaiba's Obelisk the Tormentor. You earn this rank by posting 500 times and recruiting one member (and by recruiting I mean they actually join!).
OBELISK WHITE: In the anime, the White dorm was temporary, and was full of brainwashed zombie duelists all for Sartorius (I have no idea if I spelled his name right XD). But you guys aren't zombies, are you? . . . You earn this rank by posting 1000 times and recruiting two people.
COUNCIL: Council members are . . . in the council. No rank is better than one another, but the owner and co-owner ranks are pretty cool ;D In order to become a council member, you must first qualify. You must be at least a Ra student. Then you can apply for council, and notify another council member. From there the council members will decide if you're worthy :3 Currently, the council positions are: OPEN/CLOSED.

Yay, we got that out of the way :3 Now what? Hm . . . how about the plot? Yeah, that's a good idea :3 Sure, ours are about card games, yeah, but it has a little unique twist to it xD You'll see what I mean . . .

Plot

Main Plot

It's been ten years since Yugi and his friends returned the Pharaoh Atem to the World of Memories. Duel Academy, as well as the rest of the dueling world, has been at peace . . . until now. Recently, strange items have been found much similar to the previous Millenium Items. But there's eight, and they are very similar. They are the Shadow Items. Unlike the Millenium Items, where they were golden, half the Shadow Items are black while half are white. The white Items, known as the Light Items of the Shadow Items, want peace while the black Items, known as the plain Shadow Items, cause chaos and destruction. But they all can be destructive and make battle damage in duels real! But they all have different powers:
NECKLACE: Both the Dark and the Light Necklace allows their Keepers to look into the future, to an extent.
ROD: Both the Dark and the Light Rod allows their Keepers to control the mind of others . . . to an extent.
RING: Both the Dark and the Light Ring allows their Keepers to locate other Items, or anything they seek.
PUZZLE: Both the Dark and the Light Puzzle allows their Keepers to be immune to the other Item's powers.

What's Happened So Far . . .

So far, five Keepers have been discovered: Hitori Suzumora, Keeper of the Light Puzzle; Max Adams, Keeper of the Shadow Ring; Marcus Law, Keeper of the Light Ring; K Derez, Keeper of the Shadow Necklace; and the Dean of Duel Academy, Lawrence MacBeth, Keeper of the Light Rod.
A few duels happened concerning the Shadow and Light Item Keepers, which you can find HERE. Ironically, Max has been in each of them, and when he won his duel against Hitori Suzumora, two non-Keepers Alex Jones and Mustafa Nejem went to the Dean and they talked about how to stop Max and the other Shadow Item Keepers. But since Max has the Shadow Ring, the Keeper of the Light Ring would be the only one to stop him. So Alex and Mustafa vow to keep an eye out for anyone else who has an Item. After this conversation, Marcus Law has been discovered having the Light Ring. Will be be able to end the reign of the Shadow Item Keepers?
