So, you want to hear my story... well, it's a little long, but I suppose I could tell you.

I was born a regular lupe in a regular Neohome on Terror Mountain. One night, I decided to take a walk in the snow. It was a starry night of the full moon. The air was chilly and the snow crisp. I ascended the mountain and stood at the top, looking out on the starry world. The stars looked so close, as if I could touch them. They shined on my face and thick pelt. As I star gazed,the snow under my paws began to glow with a silvery light, and a voice from an unseen person spoke to me.

Fang, you have been chosen as the steward of the Neopian Skies. I am the Star Fearie. I have granted you the power to fly through the skies on wings made of Sky and change color with the sky. You control the clouds and weather above you, but only the sky 'in your vicinity' if you will."

Wha? Why me? I haven't done anything. What did I do?"

The unseen faerie chuckled softly to herself. "You are the descendant of the first Steward of the Sky. It is your duty. I simply had to wait until you were old enough."

Oh... right." I spread my new wings and marveled at my new pelt color. It was black, dotted with silvery star spots sprinkled on it. I flew around the mountain, enjoying the wintry breeze in my new feathery wings. I landed on the top of the mountain I flew from. I sighed with amazement. I looked down again at my fur and noticed it's color changing. My feet were a rich red color and my shins a matching goldish orange color. I looked up at the horizon and saw the same colors painting the sky. I smiled a delighted smile and descended the mountain to my Neohome. There, the Star faerie waited for me in my kitchen. She glowed with a silvery hue and her hair flowed black as the sky outside.

I have asked a Neopian owner who lives in Shenkuu to look after you when you need anything. Her name is Tsuru. She has a few pets already, but she has agreed to provide you with anything you need whenever you need it. Also with lots of love, she tells me." With this, she disappeared in a cloud of starry chill. I walked outside, deciding to travel to see my new caretaker. I spread my wings, my pelt a grayish blue to match the brightening sky. I flew to Shenkuu and met Tsuru and the rest of her family. They were all very kind, and now, I visit them often. But I must keep to my duties, so I stay in the nearby mountains, watching over Neopia's Skies....
