His Introduction

He stopped. He sniffed. He twitched his ears. He turn his head slowly to look at you. Without a word, he quietly glides to the water towards you. Drawing closer, you get to take a closer look at him.

He is clearly a peophin. Though not your ordinary one, where you find swimming casually along the streets of Maraqua. His mane is a flaming, wine-like colour, all over the place, yet not messy. It has a casual flow to it, covering his brilliant blue eyes in a way that makes you want to stroke it while it dances with the water. His eyes stand out from the pitch black fur that covers his flesh. His brilliant, bloodshot electric blue eyes strike you like lightning. He owns a giant tail; much bigger than your average peophin. It blends into his fur, but stands out because it is so large. So large that it is out of place.

/"What are you doing here?" he says. His bloodshot eyes dart around his eyesockets. /"It's dangerous, and if you're caught, you're better off dead. Quick! Go! Shoo!"

Well since he insists, you leave.

His Story from Young

I was born purely royal. My maternal grandmother was A poseidon, you know, those godlike sub species of the peophin? My father's name had been royal since our kingdom was established. My mother was born a desert princess and half poseidon. I loved it. Being treated like a prince, I was always vain and spoilt. My parents loved me, especially my mother, my beautiful mother, who was kind to all. My father wanted me to be the best future king possible, and let me learn everything; fighting, defence skills, public speaking, professional advice from a king, history, quick thinking, and calligraphy. So at a very young age, I was a very capable leader.

I was always treated well. By my servants, by the guards, by the other princes and princesses from nearby kingdoms, b other family members, you name them! I was a jewel out of royalty! Handsome, intelligent, physically strong, great leader, (seemingly) friendly attitude, all the excellent qualities mentionable.

At my 5th (human years) birthday party, I met a princess like no other. My jaw had dropped. She was a princess with better qualities than me. Though she did look bored from the attention she was receiving, I was able to look at her carefully. She had stunning fur that glowed, the longest mane I had ever seen, a tail bigger than mine, and long ribbon like pompoms from the tail. I knew what she was as soon as I saw her, I had studied one in a book, but never actually seen one. She was the mythical Poseidon. It looked like she was pure Poseidon too; only a pure one would have the strange, web like hands.

Her lavender fur sparkled along with her pale purple mane - and I knew it when I saw her. She and I would make great friends. So I approached her, knowing that she would be honoured that I would ask her for a dance. But I was wrong. She scoffed, looked at me once with her emerald eyes and looked away.

I was shocked. For once in my lonely, fake life someone had rejected me. This was the first lesson anyone had ever taught me. It wasn't from my parents, it wasn't from my teachers, it wasn't from my friends. It was from this girl, and from that day on, my ego decreased.

I learnt the girl's name. It never left my memory, but I remembered her piercing eyes the most. I never saw her once again after my party, but I knew someday our lives would cross. Till that day, I vowed to myself that I would change, into a real prince and present myself to her once more.

It began soon after that birthday party. A mysterious group of resistors known only as "The Invaders" were swarming around the kingdoms of the Neopian Seas. One of the kingdoms being raided was my father's. No one knew what their motive was, only that they were going around slaying all the nobility, aristocracy, royalty and rich. To the poor peasants that lived in the filth of our kingdom, the Invaders were heroes. To us, they were killers. Bad people

My father panicked. We fled from our heavenly lives, away from the golden gates that guarded our castle, away from the glorious time, and into the Weeds of Disaster. It wasn't really a bad place, just somewhere people avoid because of the eeriness and rumours of maraquan grarrls. I was told that the past must be forgiven, and we must live the present.

For a while, my father, mother, a few loyal servants and I lived in harmony, biding our time, cutting weeds for dinner, hunting slugawoos. But one day, perhaps some rumour had reached the ears of the City Aprotiqua, a group of Invaders came strolling into the Weeds, even more coincidentally, into our little hut for a house. Aprotiqua was now completely taken over by the Invaders, the castles and noble houses burnt to ash, and new shacks were built for the peasants. The city was unsafe.

We were all terrified. None of us but my father knew how to fight, but even so, one man could not defeat ten Invaders. My father told us to hide while he went to buy time. So I saw him jump out and fight them alone. Being n excellent fighter, he managed to hold them off for a few minutes. Being our faithful servants, they volunteered to help him while he specifically said to run.

My mother and me swam. Swam for our lives, while I heard the gunshot and piercing. I closed my eyes, not letting my mother see I was mourning for my father, and to hold back my tears of fear. My mother squeezed my hoof tightly and swallowed, forever telling me it would be fine.

After running, running and more running, we were in the heart of the Weeds. We decided to rest, digging for roots and grass to eat. My mother told me to stay close, and repeatedly told me that if anything were to happen, I must run to save myself, not worrying about her because she'd catch up. But after so many sacrifices for my life, I wondered if losing her would break my heart once in for all.

So night had come. We ate in silence, not wanting to bring up the memories of my father. My mother curled her tail around and over me, keeping my warm, but mostly for her reassurance. I did not know where we would head, and what we would become of, nor what we were going to do after this sleep.

And soon in enough it came. My mother screamed to run. But my fins wouldn't move, she was the last loving thing I had to survive in this world. She pushed me as hard as I could before I could run. I looked back to see her beautiful shape fall. All I could do was scream. Screamed, screamed, screamed. The Invaders heard me weeping and turned my way. I remember the shadows which fell on top of me, but I was no longer afraid.

Death. What a remarkable thing it was. When one is at the peak of death, they feel nothing, nothing at all but joy. I thought to myself that I would be able to see my father, and my mother as soon as their spear pierced me. I would see the lost nobles, and I would be welcomed into everyone's arms. But it never came.

So they came and grabbed me. With great brute and force. /"We could bring the young one to Boss. We do not hurt the young." They had said. I wish they speared me. They did not, which I have never been able to forgive. Instead, they yied me up and made sure I was under heavy guard. I had lost conscience by the time we reached Aprotiqua.

When I opened my eyes, a heavy light shone me. Looking up, I saw a mask. the mask was plain; just white with holes for the eyes. On the right cheek there was a symbol; just the letter /"I" in curvy, old writing. Then those eyes looked down at me. All around the room, everyone bowed. /"Boss". They said, in harmony. I turned, to see myslelf in a huge hall, surrounded by perhaps hundreds Invaders wearing the same masks and uniforms. The person that was referred to as /"Boss" wore a cloak that showed nothing. It covered his whole body.

With a gesture, a man beside him started speaking.
/"Is this the surprise?" the man who appeared to be Boss' voice said.
The hall grumbled. Some of them actually replied yes.
/"Very well. I think that he would be useful in a way. He is the prince of Aprotiqua, correct?" The Voice said.
/"Yes Boss!" the Invaders replied.
/"We must make him forget. We must give him a new name so he doesn't return to his old life," and with that said, the Boss and his voice left the hall. When he glided away, I saw the end of the Boss' tail. I could not believe it, it seemed so strange... and...

The Invaders changed me. Changed my name, my face, my body. Bit by bit, they raised me into a minion. And bit by bit, I lost myself. I lost my memories, I lost me, I lost my heart. I was completely convinced I was an Invader at birth and heart. I gained the Boss' trust. I rose ranks, from an Invader Soldier, to an Invader Officer, to and Invader Group Leader, to an Invader Lieutenant, working beside Boss himself.

My life continued like that. Ordering the Invaders, invading, taking over kingdoms.

From spoilt little prince, to escapee, to Invader. My life stayed as an Invader forever.

The Sib of a Pet

Many claim jawshells are rather tasty for dinner. Falliun, for one has never eaten a jawshell and although they are claimed to be a delicacy and Falliun had his very own, he would never even taste one.

All About a Jawshell (from the book /"The Wonders of the Water)

The jawshell - a rare species of shell petpet that dwell and camouflage in corals. Identifying one is simple - as they are extremely colourful, have beedy blue eyes, and are rather unpleasant to touch.

Young jawshells are usually 10cm long, but a large, fully grown adult can be 20-30cm long, depending on the gender. The females are usually much larger than the males. The lifespan of a jawshell is rather short, only one year in human years. Jawshells like to eat only one thing: young coral. The old ones are too hard for their tiny, but poisonous teeth to bite. The poison in their teeth are not strong, but it is enough to drive an enemy away, singing with pain. The poison cannot cause death, but some side affects include strange eating habits and constant forgetfulness if the injection of poison is strong.

Their nautral enemies are slugawoos. The slugawoos love to eat them. Jawshells are constantly on the watch for slugawoos,. One jawshell may be able to scare away a slugawoo by their poisonous teeth, but a mob of slugawoos would be too much for one jawshell to handle.

The jawshells have a strange way of moving. Having no legs or arms, or even fins or a tail, they movde by their /"tentacle" like spikes on the top of their head. This makes their movement limited and rather slow.

Keeping a jawshell as a pet is recommended if you find one. They are loyal, kind and easy to look after. But make sure you don't/haven't owned a slugawoo before - they can easily smell the scent of one and may never want to be attached to you! Jawshells are friendly and easy to get along with. They can even tolerate the babies of the family tickling their tentacles! Just make sure you scrub their mouths clean everyday and they would be no trouble to you except when eating as they do consume a lot of young coral and are very proud of their teeth.

If you wish to learn more about the Jawshell, check out the /"Neopian Encyclopedia F - J ", written by the ditor of /"The Wonders of the Waters".

How Sib Came To Be

Everyone has asked me how Sib came to be stuck on my neck. Since this was years ago, my recount is as detailed as I let it be, so some bits may be a bit blurry.

/"You are to watch the people of Maraqua carefully, understand?"
/"Yes sir!"
/"You are to rat out all the resistances, understand?"
/"Yes sir!"
/"You are to make sure the people respect you and do not even think of resisting, understand?"
/"Yes sir!"
/"Now out with you!"
/"Yes sir!"

Everyday it was the same chants. I now knew it off by heart. We all ventured out, remembering our Officer's words, we took our spears and made our way to Maraqua.

I looked around shiftily, making sure no one was watching me. All the rest of the soldiers had already pushed themselves before me, so I decided to take a little rest. I mean, one missing soldier wouldn't mean much in patrolling, would it?

As stealthily as I could, I swam quickly to hide behind the dirty kelp. Being quarter Poseidon, the plankton on the kelp was irritating. But to escape the raid, this was the only way.

After the last, slow soldiers had set foot on the path to Maraqua, I swam the opposite direction. And there I saw them.

Slugawoos. Slimy, giant seasnails that seemed to think that everything was food. But what surprised me was not the mob of slugawoos, but the poor little critter trying to escape being made supper.

It was swimming as fast as it's tentacles could take it. I recognized it immediately by it's colourful, rainbow texture on its shell and it's large mouth. It was a jawshell.

/"Over here!" I beckoned to it.
It looked at me curiously and looked back at the slugawoos who were drawing closer. It glanced at me again, thinking it was either me or being supper.

I lifted my mane up for it to hide. It settled comfortably on my nape as I let my mane fall over it.

/"Woo?" A slugawoo said stupidly.
/"Woo woo wooo wooooooo woooooo!!!!"
/"Wooo woooot wooowwowooow wooo woo wooooo!"
I couldn't understand what all this /'wooing' was. It seemed like a language. After continously wooing, I frowned and turned my back on them and concentrated on the jawshell.

/"What's your name?" I asked it, thinking it wouldn't reply.
/"Don't have one," it whispered back. Startled, I poked it.
/"Did you just reply to me?"
/"Yes. I says I don't have name," it squealed.
/"You a boy or girl?" I ignorantly questioned.
The jawshell rolled it's eyes. "I'm boy, DUH!"

The slugawoos lost interest and began swimming away.
/"They're gone now. You can go."
/"Thank you kind sir. May the Seas bless you."
I smiled at it, thinking what a good pet he'd make, when the poor thing started crying.

/"What's wrong?" I said, stroking him.
/"I, I, I can't get offfff!" He said.

No way. We both tried getting him off for hours, until we finally gave up.
/"I guess you have to stay with me."
/"Noooo!"
/"You can't get off. Listen, I'll feed you, clean you, and give you a name!" I exclaimed.
The jawshell thought for a moment. "Okay fine. But if you mean to me I bite you hard with teeth."
Laughing, I pinched it's tentacles. "You'll be very happy with me, Sib."
/"Sib? Is that name?" Sib asked.
/"That's right. Your name is Sib."

And so, I had my very own jawshell. After a while, I think Sib started to grow on me. He was kind of irreplaceable, my second pair of eyes and someone I could confide to. It was strange how I've had Sib for years, but jawshell's are only meant to live for a year. I think it's because Sib takes in my energy I give him through my own flesh and fur.

The Invaders

Who are they?

The Invaders are a group, now perhaps thousands of members that are slaying royalty, nobles, aristocracy, and the Rich. Before they were a tiny group with few members that weren't a threat. Now they have taken over most of the kingdoms of the Neopian Seas.

They believe all neopets should be of the same ranking. They believe the poor should be ranked up, and the rich should stop using the poor for their own greed.

The kings and queens of the kingdoms of the Neopian Seas didn't see the Invaders as a big threat when they first started resisting. However, this was their big mistake and key to downfall. The Invaders gathered more and more supporters, mainly those from the poor. The Invaders "invaded" the kingdoms, knocekd down the castles, and shared the wealth among the poor.

But without a ruler to a kingdom, the kingdom would be doomed. There would be fighting amongst the peasants, no army, and absolutely no skills to open a school for education.

Identification

Being an invader is a huge bit

Adoptables

So I was bored, and made some animated adoptables for you visitors. :3 Customs won't be open till I finish a vast amount of default neopets colours.

They're not really adoptables, they're little pixels with movie tail fins. Lame, right? xD Enjoy them anyways.

Rules

Like all adoptables, my ones have rules too. I would appreciate it if you could follow them.

DO NOT take "xoinsanity" or the LINK to this petpage off them. Doing so would make me report you. :/

YOU MAY:
-Use them outside neopets
-Use them on neopets
-Upload them onto your own image hoster, providing you keep the image unedited and linked back to this page.
-Use them in applications

YOU MAY NOT:
-Take my username or link off
-Edit them in any way
-Claim them as your own, ie BC, art gallery (duh, they aren't even cute or good. =_=)

If you see anyone doing anything in the YOU MAY NOT section, please forward it to me and I will deal with it. Thank you!

And if you have any questions to see if what you're doing is okay with me, just mail me and I'll reply ASAP.
