~=Got Milk?=~

You are wandering rather aimlessly through the seemingly never-ending corridors of what you guessed to be a space station. Earlier, you had awakened in sickbay in bed. The last thing you'd remembered was bordly clicking on some strange link on your computer. You were supposed to be working on a creative writing assignment, but had no luck coming up with anything, so you began to search random sites. Suddenly, you had woken up in the hospital-like section of the station, hoping to find out about this new place and how to get home. The place was fashioned like one from what you've seen at the Virtupets Space Station; the walls and floor were made mainly out of metal corridors with people passing by going to and fro about their business and sometimes passing corridors with metal doors lining the walls: the living quarters. The sickbay had seemed high-tech and metal too. It was crazy-sci-fi. Not to mention, while in the sickbay, you had to search for your clothes. You were wearing that patient-excuse-for-a-dress that doctors put on you during a checkup or examination of some sort. After finding your clothes, you quickly got out of the dress and slipped on your normal clothes. Eventually, you come to two large, metal doors with porthole windows, like on ships. As soon as you get near, the doors whoosh open. Yep. Space station. At least, that's what you think before you look into the room. Your eyes widen as you see the cafeteria-like room. It is huge with tables scattered around and a bar in the back. One wall was nearly entirely constructed of huge windows, but the metal-wall-constant remained. Outside the windows was a black void that occasionally pulsed with green lines like in a grid. Apart from that, it was just black space without any distant points of light that might be planets, stars or galaxies. Behind you, you hear the grunt and groan of a female. She sounds annoyed, so you turn around to see what is going on.

I can't believe it! I pushed SummerOJ?! Ugh!! Stupid machine!!" complained the female, blue Skeith. Her tail was spike-free, her wings were orange, like her eyes, and her ear tips were a bright pink. On her right shoulder was a strange, bright green mark.

What's wrong?" you ask, unsure of how you could help being with more questions and answers.

I hit the wrong button on this darn machine! I accidentally told it I wanted a SummerOJ, but what I really want is a Gacreme," she explained, pointing out the different buttons on the vending machine. The SummerOJ's label was white with different-sized orange spots while the Gracreme was lavender with a white swirl and two white spots, one of which is cut off and might've been a swirl or a spot. It is impossible to tell.

Well, this seemed to be important to this Skeith and you had some money on you. Not to mention that she didn't look like the kind of person you'd want angry and would be an advantage to have as a friend. Maybe it was simply because she was a Skeith, even though she was quite lovely for her kind. "How much does it cost to get one?" you ask.

She looks at you with surprise before answering, "399NP."

You dig through a pocket and give her the money, wondering why these things always have a '99' at the end.

Thanks! Here, you can have this. Its the same price, so I'm not cheating you or anything!" She told you in a much better mood as she offers the canned drink to you.

You take the beverage from her and she inserts the money. This time, she pushes the right button and Clunk! At the base of the machine comes a lavender-labeled can with white swirls and a few white dots.

The Skeith picks up the drink and says, "Come on, sit with me! No offence, but you look kind of clueless," as she cheerfully strides over to a table by one of the three huge windows and sits down. Not knowing what else to do, and not going to admit to being clueless, you sit down at the table just as the green grid outside pulses across the 'sky' again.

So...Where am I? Is this some kind of space station?" you ask, playing with your beverage.

Kind of. We're in Cyberspace, not space space," answers the Skeith, leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed.

Okay...so, we're on a cyberspace station...why am I here? The last thing I remember before coming here is clicking on something on my computer," you reply.

That's weird. You must've broken through the net," she murmurs more to herself than to you.

The net?" you echo.

The green graph-lines that pulse outside; that's the net. It keeps people from...'falling into' our bit of cyberspace. Our entire organization is dedicated to protecting and preserving the net. When you fell through it..." explains the Skeith. Before continuing she leans forward and points a claw at you smartly, "You roused some very interesting questions. For example: What did you click to make you physically enter cyberspace and not simply view its pixiled content through a screen? What are the Viworhacks doing? How many bots are we up against? Was this fall-through on purpose? Did the fall-through damage the net or was the fall-through the result of a break in the net?"

Wait, what? Fall-through? Organization? Viworhacks? Bots?" You ask in confusion, "And just who are you anyway?"

The Skeith smiles and replies, "I was hoping you'd ask."

~=Cybertecter HQ=~

So, this cyberspace station is actually the headquarters for the Cybertecters?" you ask.

Yup," she answers.

What exactly are the Cybertecters?" you ask.

The Cybertecters are dedicated to protecting the net and fall-through. Fall throughs are people who somehow fall through the net and wind up physically in cyberspace rather than just viewing the product of the hard work of netbuilders who are pretty much anyone who can design/make any form of webpage. Often times, Cybertecters are fall-throughs themselves who have dedicated their lives to helping other fall-throughs and preventing fall-throughs from occurring. However, the Viworhacks are the sworn enemies of the Cybertecters. Their name is composed of three words that are the criminals of the cybernet universe: Viruses, worms and hackers. Together, they try and destroy or make your time on the computer miserable. Bots, also mentioned, are terrible products of extremely sophisticated hackers. They take over your internet and can steal your identity or stain your record by going to a site that's off-limits or other bad things! The scary part is that bots are actually real, not just used in the Cybertecters stories. Be careful what you type and where you go! Also, always protect your internet. As for the Cybertecters, they're a fighting force like firewall, scanners and all that jazz, trying to protect the net which binds all of cyberspace together and want the internet to be fun for everyone. Here is a list of the recruited Cybertecters known of in the station:

Wingleader Exxa
Exxa is wingleader of Squadron A. This means that she commands a squadron to fight off things that may be attacking the net such as worms or hackers. She does a pretty good job, but is always trying to do and be better. That is what has elevated her up to this rank...that and that she is one of the senior Cybertecters, having dedicated her life to the protection of internet-users.

Wingleader Rudy
Rudy is wingleader of Squadron B. This means that he commands a squadron to fight off things that may be attacking the net such as worms or hackers. He is more serious than his eccentric superior, Exxa, who jokingly calls him Iron-belly, but that doesn't mean he can't be an agreeable guy. He's, simply put, well grounded, sober and sane.

Chelsey Naako
Chelsey is one of the janitors at Cybertecters. Though she has a chronic fear of dirt, grime, dust, bacteria and germs, she makes a good maintenance engineer. Chels is outgoing and very fashionable.

...You really like that soda, huh?" You ask, watching her guzzling down her beverage from the machine.

Hm? Oh, no, this isn't soda. This is grape-flavored milk!" she replies, exhibiting the drink proudly.

Ewww! You drink that stuff?!"

Well, yeah! Its one of my favorite things!"

~=Family=~

So...do you have any family on this station?" You ask, wondering about this strange Skeith.

Me? No, not biological. I consider the staff of the station my family. Maybe someday, but I highly doubt it!" she laughed, "But families are allowed here on the station."

~=Friends and Enemies=~

So, do you have any specific friends or enemies?" you ask in curiosity, both of your beverages long gone.

You bet! One of my first friends was Iron-Belly Rudy! He's just about the coolest scorchio you'll ever meet and he's pretty polite too. He's the wingleader of Squadron B, the second-best squadron in Cybertecters! Of course, Squadron A is the best. Perks to the squad!" she replies as if in victory.

~=Story=~

So, how did you end up working here, anyway?" you ask the Skeith as she leads you down corridor after corridor away from the dining hall.

She winks at you over her shoulder and simply replies, "Sorry, but don't think I'm going to just let you in on my story! That's personal stuff, you know!"

~=Exxa Art=~

Hey, what're those?" you ask, seeing Exxa looking at some pictures.

Hmm? Oh! Nothing! ...Well, okay, I guess you can have a look..." she replies, handing you the pictures.

~=Reference Picture=~

PLEASE follow the reference picture if you are going to draw/paint/whatever Exxa! This took a LOT of time and effort and I'd appreciate it if you actually used it! Its really big, though, so you might have to copy it to get the right colors ect. But use it ONLY for making a picture FOR Exxa!

~=Skeith and Grarrl Adopts=~

Rules: This is where you find Grarrl and Skeith adopts. Not any other species, even though I do them all. You MUST have a reference picture and I will follow it accordingly. You must also tell me, for the 'Not Fat' Skeiths if you want anything besides the default 'Not Fat' in the thought bubble. For the vending machine ones, you must tell me IN DETAIL what you want the cans and vending machine to look like and what (if any) designs/logos you want on them. I do multiple requests. Read the rules on other pages to get the basic idea of where I'm going with this. As for the mail, send it to Wa2 and title it "VendorG" for the Grarrl adopts, "VendorS" for the vendor Skeith adopts and "TearsAreSlimming" for the Not Fat Skeiths.

~=Not Fat Skeiths=~

~=Vendor Skeiths=~

~=Vendor Grarrls=~

~=Goodbye=~

Well, we're here," says the Skeith, stepping up to a dead end with some nicely colored buttons on it.

Where's here?" You ask, handing the pictures back to the Skeith.

This is your way home. We send people like you back out of Cyberspace this way. That patch you clicked on was a link to here, but any of these will take you out. They're links; patches; warps! Push any one of them and you'll be gone from here."

You frown a bit. It was cool here, but it is true: you have to go. So, looking back on the station and Exxa, you choose a button and push it. Instantly, you are warped to another place, but something snags onto you as you go and have the option of taking one or both with you.
