• He hates being cute and is caunted by the best-selling toy in the zoo.
• He hates being cuddly, and doesn't like you.
• He has a lumpy shape and stubby legs.
• He longs to obliterate the cute image promoted by his teddy· bear likeness.

 

Ryan:

• He is Samsom's rebellious teenage son who is cursed with a wimpy roar.  
• He is bored with the complacency of zoo life and mesmerised by his father's stories of the untamed jungle.
• He longs to be wild and have a great roar.
• His fondesthope is to be just like his father.

 

Samson:

• He loves regaling his teenage son with stories of his days from the wild.
• He is local sports hero. 
• He has never been to the wild in his life.
• He has a good heart and does everything he can to rescue his son and keep his friends safe on their journey.
