You were walking down the Mystery Island shore when suddenly a mint green gelert came running towards you saying, "Run for your life!" You stand there watching the gelert run when you turned to see island natives running towards you. Then you decided to take the gelert's advice and run. When the island natives stopped following you had just gotten into to the city. The gelert walked up to you saying, "Sorry about that, the natives don't like me. My name is Estarlah, what's yours?" "guest," you reply. "Well, guest, to make up for you almost being killed how about I tell you about myself?

How did you become a pirate?" you asked curiously. "I knew you would ask," Estarlah said.

MY STORY

When I was young, I lived with my parents on Mystery Island. They owned a tour boat buisness. Now I don't know about you, but that isn't my idea of exciting. Everyday I would sit on the docks and watch the ships come and go. I longed to be out there on the open water. I think that my parents noticed it too.
One night when I was thirteen, my parents told me that I could join one of the ships that came in the next day. And so there I was, standing in the bright morning sun looking at all of the ships. My parents didn't exactly tell me an exact ship, so I decided that I would choose the nicest looking one. I chose the ship that I liked best. The name, well it isn't important right now. I asked that captain,a large blue kougra, if I could join, and he said yes.
It was soon found that I was a great navigator. It was almost like I was one of those migratory birds with a compass built in. My ability to keep us from never getting lost made me popular in the crew. I loved it until one day when I found out my crew's truth. They were pirates. I was scared to begin with, but eventually I learned to love it.
You just have to think about the insurance that the people are getting from their stolen stuff. Its that simple. Plus, when you're a pirate you eventually learn to not have a conscience. I was out on the open seas where I was meant to be. My life was great, that is until one day.
We were pulling into port, and I was going to do some shopping. Yes, real shopping, not stealing. When I came back to my ship everybody was freaking out. See, it turns out that the police had caught one of my crew stealing and then they folllowed them to the ship. And that was that.
When I tried to find my parents someone told me that they moved to Altador. I lived on my own for a while until I met a girl named Kat. She offered to take me in as her "pet". I agreed to it, although I regret it sometimes. She had many pets already, and some I liked while some I didn't. I especially didn't like the pet that came in after me, Lunitro. He was way too girl crazy. He always wants hugs and tries to get his best bud Tsumetie to help him get a date.
One day I went back to Mystery Island, and I met yet another pirate crew. Their captain was Mimziex. She let me join the crew as navigator. So half of the time I live with Kat, while the other half I live on a ship.
And that's my life in miniature.

Captain Mimziex
Captain is pretty cool. I saw her with her crew on Mystery Island and she showed me her ship. After the tour I asked If I could join her crew, she made me navigator. While sailing the ship for the first time we were attacked. And, she wanted me to fight so bad that she chopped the wheel in half. Well, eventually she called me a good pirate, that's what I wanted.
