Basicly this button means you can take selected things and make the background invisible,this includes text,watch me...



You can make alotta stuff look so much better if you know how to do this eg.Link buttons and the graphics/icons you make.

Some people just trace round the letters or image with the background colour but this means you have to have a soild background colour or alot of time!

Because of the many evils of image hosting it is almost impossible to end up with a good sharp picture on your webpage if you save it as a .bmp

The only way I have ever found to get round this is to save everything I want on my pages as .png's a .png is a beautiful thing,it looks just as good as a .bmp but it STAYS looking un-dotty when you upload it.

Making banners?Got images that arnt long enough?You can cheat a bit by reflecting the image that your using...

Mabe this is just a personal issue but i hate it when people choose icons that you can see half of for website adresses/advertising

This icon wasnt made by either of these websites but the 1st one still got branded with 2 adresses.Poor thing.

I will try and find a better example of this 'cos Ive seen icons that have quotes at the bottom (like,the whole point of the icon) with web adresses over them

All im saying is dont use the branded one's on neopets.Oh and its against Neopets rules I think.Ok,rant over =)

Readable text is always good,nothing fancy and if you are typing straight onto your background (like on this page) makes sure you can see it you can get the coolest little text

Riiight,this isnt too hard all it does is remove the blue/purple line around your link button like this

The 2nd link has 'Border = "0"' on the end of its image tag so the blue/purple line goes away!
