Wandering through a cave, torch in hand, fairly deep within its walls now. Suddenly, your torch blows out! Its pitch black, and you are unsure on which direction you want to go in now. Your probably about half way into the cave from each entrance. You have been through this cave many times now, so you know your way very well, and decide that continuing forward will be the easiest route.
You continue along your path, when you start to see a strange turquoise light glowing? Unsure about what it is, you quietly sneak up to it.

It's just a glowing moss. Strange, you have never encountered this before? You collect a sample and put it in a container for further study. Then you pick some up to light the way.
Once you make it out into the daylight, you go straight to your tent to put this odd fungus under the microscope. Its stopped glowing? The glow must have died on your walk back here!
The science group is called for dinner. If you don't go you will miss out. You also plan on going back into the cave. After all, who knows maybe you have found a new type of fungi and have it named after you!
You come back to your tent, it is now dark outside. You change into your sleeping clothes, tuck yourself into bed, and close your eyes, but something's amiss, there is something different in your tent keeping you up. You open your eyes and tilt your head to the light?
The fungi are glowing again! It must only glow when its dark, and untouched by light!
Excited by your discovery you get dressed again and go back to the cave, this time, only bringing a dim flashlight.
The first 200 feet into the cave, the fungi light starts to glow, but the first section of fungi aren't as bright as the stuff you found! You venture deep into the cave again.
*munch munch munch* What the heck is that noise!?
You wander quietly up to the noise and see this small creature! It has symbols marked all over it, and wears a skull of something over its head? But, its munching on your fungi! You decide you are bigger then it and run towards it trying to scare it off!
Your plan works, it scampers away, and you gather the rest of the half eaten fungi, and leave before that thing comes back!
Back at your tent, you're completely satisfied with your finding! You head to bed, completely bushed by now.
*nom nom nom* Your eyes JOLT open! That creature is eating the fungi out of YOUR bag!!!
You sneak up behind it and grab it! It thrashes about & bites your hand; oddly enough it doesn't have teeth? Wide eyed you feel it start to suckle on your thumb? This is an odd creature, but it is pretty cute! Your mothering skills start to kick in, and you start rocking it in your arms. It must be a young one if it's suckling! But what was it doing following you? Can people consume these odd fungi? Maybe the bright ones taste better?

This is how you came to meet your now best friend Envy! He's been with you now for about 2 years. He's GREAT at finding shiny things! I am not sure why he eats the glowing fungus, it tastes awful, but, you did know he followed you for your flashlight. He was OBSESSED with your flashlight! Every time you turned it on, he followed the light like a puppy after a laser pointer. You did know that Envy's eyes weren't the best; he ran into things a lot. Probably from being around caves so much. You also knew he must be affected by the fungi he eats because in the sunlight, the glowing marks on his skin went away, and he turned a pale blue-grey.
Like the fungi, Envy was most fascinating! And since the day he suckled your thumb, he's thought you his mother! You had been in that cave many, many times since that day, looking for other little creatures like Envy to study, however, none were found. He was Unique! And, he was the best pet a scientist could have!

Sheesh, I am no good at good-byes. If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading my story about Envaius! He's a pretty cool krawk in my books if you have any further questions about my adoptables ect...(Please mail my main Unmuted_920 if this is the case)
