The War of Edentoth and Aetheria
Join CAU's first-ever plot!
It seems a war has recently broken out between the Ancient Kingdom of Aetheria and the New Republic of Edentoth! It's magic versus science and technology... Who will be the victor?!
[♥] Briefing
It is said that there once was a prosperous nation known as Aetheria in the land of Skyrim, a world just off the rest of neopia... The nation of myth and magic was at a confident peace, led by the noble High Council of mages.
But when the Aetherian High Council got a little too overbearing and began banning technology and the pursuit of science in favour of sticking to its tradition and magical roots, several people around the land weren't too happy with this. Instead they chose to break away from Aetheria's hold and travel west, to create their own country, where they would be free to pursue science and technology as their hearts desired.
Aetheria let them go, stating that anyone who defied the High Council was to be sent into exile. Those who left formed their own country, Edentoth, and elected a leader by the name of Risuke Eddington. But several years later, when the Aetherian economy failed and they found Edentoth to be prospering, the High Council of Aetheria knew they needed Edentoth's help-- But ever too proud to ask for it, they planned to take it by force.
So now it falls on your shoulders; Are you the Aetherian, struggling to get by? Or are you the Edethian, trying to break free of the chains that once bound you? Only you can decide.

So a war started. Big deal. Well, you know what? It IS a big deal, because YOUR pets live in this world-- or they will, just as soon as you register them. Why should you register? Because registering gets you perks:
- Earn points for participating in guild activities- points you'll be rewarded for later.
- Take part in the plot and activities that spring up as it unfolds-- just like on neo!
- Help determine the course of the events with YOUR actions.
- Show off your pets in the new guild roleplay directories.
- Roleplay with others in Skyrim!
- Basically: FUN.
But you don't get fun if you don't sign up, of course. XD So what are you waiting for?
[♥] Registration Info
To take part in the action, you must first register your pet(s) with Koryo. Pets that you register earn points for you and for their side-- if you participate, that is! See the points database for the specifics on how points work.
Signing up is easy- just neomail Koryo with your pet(s) names and what side they'll be joining. Don't be worried-- you can have pets on both sides of the fence. ;) But think about what side of the fight your pet would join. Do they have magical abilities or like to keep things traditional? If so then there's a greater chance of them being Aetherian. If they're into technology and/or science, or are particularly rebellious, then they'd probably make a better fit in Edentoth. Note: only pets actually created on neopets and in your possession may be registered, sorry.
Here's the list of the pets you may have officially registered for point-earning. They go by rank. If you desire to have fewer, that's up to you; these are maximums. :)
- Councilmembers: 6 Pets
- Talking Tablet: 5 Pets
- Bizarre Brush: 4 Pets
- Psycho Pencil: 3 Pets
- Eclectic Eraser: 2 Pets
- Strange Sketch: 1 Pet
Got more pets than that? Never fear- you can add new pets as you go up in rank, and in the meantime, there is no limit to the number of pets you may register in the Skyrim roleplay directories...

For this event, we've also set up two roleplay directories where you can tell everyone all about your pets! The pages are here (Aetheria) and here (Edentoth).Any pet you own may go on these pages as long as you fill out the appropriate forms and send them in to either Kaji or Ciran (as the page will say), but registered pets will be closer to the top of the page and earn pet points for filling out a profile. ;D
