CANDYLAND is a neo-related guild, that promotes art, creativity, and account improvement goals. We have avatar lending, original activities, trophies that we call Treats, and if you're looking for a Zapper guild, then look no further. We are always ready to partner up for a FAIR Key Quest match, and to play fun games on the guild message board.
Our main goal here at CANDYLAND is to create a friendly atmosphere, where our members can find fellowship and help.

Guild Rules

Never promise someone items or neopoints for joining our guild. This will result in our guild being frozen.

Follow ALL of the Neopet rules. Do not break them because you not only endanger your account, but you also place our guild in danger of being frozen.

If you are playing Key Quest, DO NOT QUIT. I expect my members to be gracious winners and losers. If you're caught doing this, I'm going to be very disappointed. Also, do not let your turn be skipped if someone plays an unappealing card on you. That is part of the game. Play fairly.

Do not make a recruit board or advertise on Guildless Boards, unless you are ranked Sweetie or higher. You may however BUMP a recruiting board that a council or sub-council member has made.

Do not use the real word for BF. I know this seems like a strange request, but there have been some issues from TNT with this word. We are trying to protect our members and our guild.

Always be respectful. No exceptions.

Reward System

CANDYLAND uses Treats for rewards. We DO NOT give out any Neopet items. We also use Candy Coins for points earned in activities, jobs, and a few other things.
Your Candy Coins will be added to your teams total during the month, and at the end of the month The team with the most Candy Coins wins, and will receive a butterscotch candy medal for the Treat Box. Your team's Candy Coin Tally returns to zero at the beginning of the month.

Teams

Our guild has 2 teams to choose from. Those teams are Team Cupcake and Team Lollipop. Once you have selected the team you want to be a part of, you will be added to the Team Roster located on the guild front. There, you will be able to view your team's progress. The more activities you play in, the more Candy Coins you will earn for your team.

A special page will be provided for you called a Treat Box. You can add it to one of your petpages, and add your Treats to it as you earn them.

Employment

Currently Seeking:

User Look-up Coder: Do you have experience coding pages? Why not put that experience to good use? Our guild is currently seeking someone to code 1 user look-up a month. You will be given an original design to work with. No graphic design background necessary. You may submit your Resume/Portfolio HERE.

Inspectors: Our guild is in need of 1 page inspector. Your job would be to view the Candybox pages, and make sure they are up to date, and that all treats are correct. If you are interested in this position, please neomail me HERE.

Art Teachers: Our guild has 2 openings for art teachers. Your responsibility would be to create 2 tutorials a month, for our Art Classes. One of these positions is for a Paint shop Pro Teacher, and the other is for a GIMP teacher. You would need to have these tutorials ready bi-weekly. Send examples/resume HERE.

Updaters: I'm seeking 1 person to do Candybox Updates. You would be getting Candybox information from our Inspectors, to update each members Treats. You would need to host a page, and add the new coding to the page for the members to pick up. Updates will need to be completed, daily. Code editing necessary. Apply HERE.

Teams
As part of Candyland's rebuilding we have decided to eliminate two of our guild teams, and merge them into the two remaining teams. Regardless which team existing guild members were previously on, you now have the choice of joining Team Cupcake or Team Lollipop.

Please neomail any Council member as soon as possible to let us know which team you wish to join. Please note that even if you were previously a member of Team Cupcake or Team Lollipop, you still need to re-choose which team you'd like to join.

Please note that if you have not chosen a team by April 30th, you will be placed on a team at Council's discretion.

Candy Coins & Treats
Once our restructuring is complete and activities resume, members will no longer earn individual Candy Coins for participating in activities. All Candy Coins will now go to your team as a whole. Members will still earn Treats for participating in activities. Making this change cuts down dramatically on the amount of updating of tallies that are needed.
