Abilities: Jayden has several abilities. For one, he can manipulate the growth and movement of the plants at will. He can also 'speak' to them, basically meaning by shouting out words like 'grow!' or 'lie down' he can summon plants to him. Jayden's emotions also seem to affect the plants. For example, if he is happy, nearby plants will grow and blossom beautifully. But, if he is sad, the plants will wither and shrivel up. This is in connection to being psychically connected to the environment, and can sense when it is injured or sick. He can also summon plants to his attack or defense.

Personality: Jayden is normally very calm and serious. But, he is concerned with other people's feelings, and will do anything to help his friends. He also acts like a lone wolf sometimes, often not allowing others to help him for fear of them getting hurt. Although he can appear stoic and serious, Jayden cares deeply about others, especially his friends. He also likes to have fun and does know how to have a good time. Nikki Marie: Nikki and Jayden are fairly close friends. Jayden views her as a sister-figure, and knows he can trust her with anything. She was the first friend he made when he came to the Academy.

Jayden was born into a nomal, middle-class suburban family. His mother owned her own pet grooming shop, and his father worked as a financial advisor. He also has a younger sister and a new baby brother. Everything seemed to be going well for Jayden, and he never encountered any problems growing up.Until just recently.
One day, while Jayden was practicing his guitar playing on the beach near his home, a random plant began to grow out of the ground and slowly began to dance in tune to his music. This startled him, and when he stopped playing, the plant wilted and slipped back into the ground. Wanting to see it again, he began to play, upon which the plant returned and continued to dance. He found great amusement withthis and decided to see what his parents throught of it.
That night, he told hs parents what had happened, and even showed then with one of his mother's oleander plants. His parents were startled, and dismissed him immediately. This made Jayden upset, and caused the flowers to begin to wither and die. Jayden cried himself to sleep that night, while all the plants in the house echoed his sorrows, and began to wither.
His parents came to him soon after and told him he was going away to a 'Special School'. He didn't know what they meant, but he felt it had something to dow tih what he can do. So, without questioning it, Jayden packed up his stuff and left...not knowing what he was getting into.
