Please read this guide to petpage apps before neomailing me any questions



So, you wish to adopt one of my pets, but have no idea what an app is or what I require? Well you have come to the right place. I will give you instructions as to how to write an app that will get you one of my pets.

Lets go over some basics first:

- I cannot require petpage apps anymore, but you are welcome to make me one if you wish to. It is the content that counts above all. So if you feel you can present yourself well with a neomail, go for it.

- Please do not neomail me on side accts, some accts are only gone on once a week or rarer. Others are checked everyday, but I would still like to have all neomail on this acct. I have neomail open on those accts for a reason, and will give all people neomailing me on there one warning to neomail me on main and then I will block you.

- Do not keep neomailing me about the pet, this makes you come off as annoying and I am less likely to give you the pet. I will get around to choosing an owner or reading your app eventually, as I have other things to worry about other than Neopets.

- Some pets are kept on friends' accts simply for lack of space and my friends prefer not to receive my mail. Again I stress, all mail must go to this acct, as some pets are mine but are on other accts at the moment.

- I might add more things here later on, so keep checking back.



So what am I looking for in an app?

- What I really like seeing an app is a personality and story for the pet you are applying for. It shows creativity and that you actually have plans for the pet. I want at least a paragraph for each.

- Why do you want this pet? I don't want the "I will feed it, play with it, etc. every day" crap. That is not an app and I will ignore anything resembling that.

- Tell me about yourself, a little about your real life is always nice, it lets you get to know what kind of person the future owner is.

- Tell me about what you like to do on neo. Do you play games, restock, chat, draw, etc? What are your goals? That kind of thing, be creative!

- Tell me about your neo family. Describe all your pets, their personalities, how you got them, that kind of thing. I want to see that you care about them.

- I do not require roleplaying, though roleplayers are welcome to apply. If you do roleplay please include some examples and an intro.

- Artists are of course also welcome to apply and I would like to see some of your work as well. A rough sketch of the pet you want would be nice, though I don't require it.

- If you customise pets with NP or NC items, put together an outfit/background/item combination. I just need the pictures of the items you would like to attain for my pet and how they would look all together. If the pet cannot wear clothes, then just do background and items.
