So, you wish to adopt one of my pets, but have no idea what an app is or what I require? Well you have come to the right place. I will give you instructions as to how to write an app that will get you one of my pets.

Lets go over some basics first:

- I cannot require petpage apps anymore, but you are welcome to make me one if you wish to (but please make it clear on the petpage that I did not force you to make a petpage as part of the application process) . It is the content that counts above all. So if you feel you can present yourself well with a neomail, go for it.

- Please refrain from neomailing me on accounts other than coldicyanger.

- You are allowed to check up on the status of your application but please don't make it excessive. I also allow extensions of the application due date, just ask!

- I'd prefer you keep the pet and petpet as is but you are welcome to change it, it does become your pet after all.

- If you find that you no longer wish to own a pet please find a new owner for it or let me know so I can take it back.



- I might add more things here later on, so keep checking back.



So what am I looking for in an app?

- What I really like seeing an app is a personality and story for the pet you are applying for. It shows creativity and that you actually have plans for the pet. I want at least a paragraph for each. Or if you are not into that, tell me other reasons why you wish to own my pet.

- Why do you want this pet? I don't care whether you feed/play/etc. with your pet, I put mine in the NeoLodge and find that an acceptable way to take care of a pet.

- Tell me about yourself, a little about your real life is always nice, it lets me get to know what kind of person the future owner is and what role neopets plays in their lives.

- Tell me about what you like to do on neo. Do you play games, restock, chat, draw, etc? What are your goals? That kind of thing, be creative!

- Tell me about your neo family. Describe all your pets, their personalities (if they have any), how you got them, that kind of thing. I want to see that you care about them.

- I do not require roleplaying, though roleplayers are welcome to apply. If you do roleplay please include some examples and an intro.

- Artists are of course also welcome to apply and I would like to see some of your work as well. A rough sketch of the pet you want would be nice, though I don't require it.

- If you customise pets with NP or NC items, put together a few customisations (I'd prefer something that you can afford now or in the near future. Please use a website of some sort for this so that I can see a finished product.
