Introduction - Transmogrification

Transmogrification is a long and complicated word meaning the process of turning Neopets into mutants.

There is no Mutant Paint Brush, so the only ways to turn your Neopet into a mutant is by lab ray, FFQ, or transmogrification potions.

Transmogrification potions (or trans potions, for short) are available for most species of Neopet, and the item names are in the format:
(species name) Transmogrification Potion.

Dr. Sloth hands them out in RARE random events, but you can also buy them from other users via the shop wizard, trading post, and auctions.

And so, if you wanted a mutant hissi, you would need a Hissi Transmogrification Potion.
The potion can be used on ANY pet, and that pet would become a mutant of whatever species the item name has.
Your new mutant pet CAN be painted again, but will remain the species it was morphed into unless you use another potion.
So if you wanted a baby hissi, you can use a Hissi Transmogrification Potion on ANY pet, and then paint it with a Baby Paint Brush.

The potion is one use only, and will disappear once used. To use the potion, click on it in your inventory.
