Egyptianity is the Aisha queen of Sakhmet City. Her mother and father both died when she was young, thus she was left to rule the kingdom. She loves searching for treasure and archaeology. Egyptianity has a soft spot for jewelry and is rarely found wearing the same necklaces, she wears a new one almost every day. She is very social and enjoys meeting new people. Egyptianity loves a challenge and doesn't like anything to come easy.

I am a desert Aisha and was born to privilege. My father, pharaoh Sekhemkhet of the 13th Dynasty, was a kind and noble king. Before ascending to the throne, he wed a beautiful Aisha by the name of Iytenui - my mother. A year later, I was born. I did not grow up in a fancy palace, but in the upper class section of the city of Sakhmet. While my father was not the pharaoh yet, we were still well off. I had a fun, rather typical childhood, so there's not much of interest to report.

When I was 15, my father became the next pharaoh. My mother, father and I all moved into the Sakhmet palace. The palace is a gorgeous place with statues of past pharaohs and their wives, beautiful artwork of the gods, and of course, cats. Cats are the guardians of the underworld and are highly regarded as noble creatures. During his first year of rule, my father gifted me with a cat of my very own. At the time, though, he was only a kitten. But I fell in love with my beautiful cat, who i named Isui. The first two years of my father's rule are also not very interesting. They were fun, and glamorous, but again, there's not much to report on. During his third year of rule, however, things changed.

I was 18 and my father decided that I was ready to wed. Rather than choose someone for me, as it was often done, my father decided to allow me to choose my own husband. While I didn't have anyone in mind, I began to keep an eye open for potentials. I know that sounds silly, as if I were shopping for a new husband, but I was eager to find someone to love and care for, who would love and care for me back.

One day, while sitting in my favourite sanctuary, and old garden in the back side of the palace, I saw him. He walked gracefully through the palace doors and out onto the cool, sandy earth. He must have been an inch or two taller than me and with slightly darker skin. He was wearing a tan coloured robe down to his ankles and a golden headpiece with a cobra. Around his neck was an Ankh pendant: the symbol of eternal life. How had I not seen him before!?! Even from a distance I could see his dark, intense eyes, glistening with mystery and dark beauty. He leaned cooly against the palace wall, which was engraved with various hieroglyphics, detailing the story of Anubis. Suddenly, without warning, he turned toward me and met my gaze. Embarrassed, I flushed deep crimson and looked down. After a few minutes pause, I dared to glance up once again, through my batting eyelashes. He was walking toward me!!! Oh my gods, I thought. I found myself hyperventilating and losing all forms of coherency. My mind was quickly slipping away, turning into jello. All of my knowledge, my training, my mannerisms: gone. My mind seemed to have frozen.

Hello, there, his confident, soft voice rang loud and clear through the mystical gardens. For several minutes, neither of us spoke. I could hear the faint rush of water from the royal fountains and the quiet breeze rustle the leaves of the bushes and trees.

Hi, I finally managed to reply.

How could this be happening, I thought to myself. How was I losing my nerve? I was usually so confident, so quick, so witty.. but now...

My name is Imhotep, come with me, Egyptianity. He took my hand and led me over to the sacred fountain of Ra. He sat on the edge of the fountain and I sat beside him. A tree cast a shadow on us from overhead, shielding us from the powerful rays of the afternoon sun.

Imhotep and I talked into the wee hours of the morning. As the hours wore on, I found my heart rate easing as I became more comfortable around him. The words started flowing easily and I found myself telling him all about my desires, ambitions and dreams. My love of archaeology and treasures and mysteries. How I loved treasure hunts and digging up old artifacts from previous dynasties and even earlier periods. Imhotep was patient with me, as I slowly turned into my usual blabbering self, but he also managed to get a few words in. He worked in the palace as a statue-carver. He had been working here since the previous pharaoh started his term and hoped to stay for the rest of his life. Creating statues and other art was his passion. He spoke with such enthusiasm and I could tell that he loved his work more than life itself. He said that he had just finished working on the grandest project of all: a gift to me and my father. He had constructed a pyramid.

When the sun had long since disappeared, and had been replaced by the faint glow of the moon crest, Imhotep took my hand. He lightly kissed the top and stared deep into my eyes.

Good night, Egyptianity. Until the sun rises, he said quietly. He then rose and silently made his way into the castle.

I don't know how much longer I remained by the fountain, but it felt like an eternity. I think I must have been in shock. My hand burned with pleasure and longing on the spot where he kissed me. I don't even remember if I ever made it back into my bed chamber that night. But the next morning, I ran straight to my father.

I poured my heart out to my father. I told him that Imhotep was who I had chosen to wed. My father smiled lovingly and patiently as I prattled on and on about the lovely night we spent together. When I finally paused for longer than a few seconds, my father embraced me.

Imhotep is a lovely choice, my darling. He will be a very lucky man. I will speak to him at once.

The next two days were a blur. I was ecstatic. Nothing could dim my spirits, I was on cloud nine. My father had gone to Imhotep and told him of my wishes and said that he would be honored to have Imhotep as a son-in-law. Imhotep eagerly accepted the offer and the wedding preparations began at once. I requested that we be wed in the gardens where we first met.

The day finally arrived. The sun was high in the cloudless sky, which made the cool marble floor feel good against my bare feet. I was standing just inside the palace in a long white dress, waiting to exit out into the garden. My father stood proudly at my side, with a delightful twinkle in his eye. Together, we walked out into the gardens, where an eager crowd awaited me. At the end of a long isle, stood Imhotep. He looked even better than he did on the first day that I saw him. He had a huge grin spread across his face, and his eyes were lit up even brighter than before. It took every bit of restraint to not run down the isle at top speed and throw myself into his waiting arms.

Finally, after what felt like the longest walk of my life, I reached him. He took my hands in his, and gazed lovingly into my eyes. My father walked behind us and faced us and the crowd and began to speak. The words barely even registered, because I only had eyes for my Imhotep. We finally kissed, and I heard my father say, I now pronounce you man and wife. The crowd erupted into applause and cheers.

Imhotep and I began to walk back down the isle to mingle with our guests, when the world was suddenly cast into darkness. It was as if it went from day to night with no transition and no warning, but there was no comforting glow of the moon. Terrified, I grasped Imhotep's hand, and he put his arm around me protectively. Several people in the crowd screamed as a thick layer of black mist began to form around our ankles. The temperature outside began to drop rapidly and the ground began to shake. Cracks formed in the ground, pulling sand into the depths of the earth.

A creature rose up out of the earth, almost like a mirage, carrying light with it. He was a dark creature with the head of a jackal: Anubis. He had an evil look in his eye and stared at me and my family menacingly.

I demand payment, he croaked.

Anubis thrust his hand forward as if here were about to toss something. He held it outstretched for a few seconds, and I heard Imhotep gasp in pain beside me and crouch over. His Ankh pendant, which was around his neck as usual, was torn from his neck and zoomed into Anubis's hand like a magnet. The effect was immediate. Imhotep began to sink into the ground and dematerialize. I felt his flesh slip through my fingers like a ghost as he disappeared into the earth, tearing my heart from my chest and taking it with him. All the strength and happiness left me. I tore my eyes from the spot where Imhotep stood just moments before and stared at Anubis. He carried the wisdom of the ages on his face and the power of the gods in his hand. With a final evil glare, he thrust out his hand once more, casting my family to the ground. He then disappeared, as if he were never there, and the world once again lit up with the light of the sun.

The crowd started panicking at once. A god was just here. In our palace. In our lands. A man disappeared and the pharaoh and his wife were cast to the ground. Fear spread from person to person like a plague, and I ran to my mother and father. My mother's eyes were glazed over and I felt terror wash over me. I knelt beside my dad, who was gasping for breath, and I tenderly held up his head.

Father! I shouted desperately, my eyes filling up with tears. I didn't fight to hold them back.

Egyp.. Egy.. Egyptianity. I.. I love you... You must... only you... Qasala... Anubis... Imhotep... only way..

His eyes then glazed over too, and I knew that all was lost. My family was dead.. taken.. I cradled my head in my hands and wept for what felt like hours.. and probably was.

The next day, I didn't want to leave my bed. I just wanted to grieve and cry. My husband was gone. I didn't even know if he was dead or alive. He was just taken. And my mother and father were gone. Dead. I didn't have any reason to get out of bed. I didn't want to.. But I had to. With my mother and father gone, I was the new pharaoh. Wait.. I was the pharaoh. I could use my new authority to bring Imhotep back. And what did my father mean about Qasala?

I quickly got out of bed and dressed. I put on my usual white gown, a few golden bangles, and my royal headdress. I then grabbed the golden staff that my mother used to carry: a long gold staff with a falcon on top, representing Rah, the sun god. I then made my way into the throne room where I sat upon my father's golden throne, embedded with various hieroglyphics and two Egyptian Cobras formed out of the top. I then sent for Zoraida.

Zoraida is the Egyptian Sorceress of Sakhmet. She uses her magic gifts to aid the pharaoh on the past, present and future. She can look into the dimensions of the universe to find answers. I would need her to save Imhotep.

The sorceress approached me. She was an old woman, as made evident by the deep knowledge and power in her eyes, but she still had the beauty and form of a young woman. She had two large red and orange wings, with an impressive span. She knelt before me and waited for me to speak.

Zoraida, I have called you here to aid me. As I'm sure you know, yesterday Anubis ascended to our palace and claimed my husband, whom he swallowed into the very earth. He then proceeded to kill my father and mother. My father's dying words gave me a task. He mentioned Qasala, Anubis and Imhotep and said it was the only way. And that I must do this. What do these words mean? What is the task that has been laid before me? What must I do? I seek your guidance.

Zoraida looked me into the eye, her gaze penetrating my very soul. She then rose and walked backward a few paces, before extending her arms and bowing her head.

A strange glow began to form at her center and slowly grew in intensity as the minutes ticked by. Zoraida lowered herself onto the ground and began to chant. Images formed in the glow above her, as if telling a story. The images didn't have a very defined shape at first, but they slowly began getting more and more detailed. Finally, I could make out the face of my husband. Imhotep. I was overwhelmed with complex feelings. Fear. Anger. Anxiety. Despair. Determination. And revenge. Anubis took my love. My family. My life.

Before my thoughts of revenge could form, Zoraida's confident voice broke into my train of thought.

Imhotep is of the divinity. He was once a humble commoner, years and years ago. He has since lived to see the modern world become the ancient times and the ancient times become a myth. He was not born of this divine status, but it was gained. Given. Bestowed. But what to earn this divine status? Praise. Statues of the gods. Kingly statues of the gods. He raised them and they were magnificent. The gods bathed in their glory and pride. Because of Imhotep, the gods became alive on the earth. To repay Imhotep, Ra awarded him with a sacred Ankh, a key of life. When worn, this key would bestow divinity and immortality upon Imhotep. But when taken, he is crumbed. Neither living nor dead. A plague from the gods: to be dependent upon the Ankh to live, and yet unable to die. Imhotep is the only one blessed - or cursed - with such an item, so none knows where he goes when he is between two worlds. A mystery to be solved. A mystery for Egyptianity. A mystery for the queen pharaoh.

Zoraida closed her wings and the light around her dimmed. She opened her eyes and walked towards me.

A task for one so young but bright,
you shall stand and learn to fight.
For your love, against the gods of high,
you shall conquer or you shall die.

To Qasala, where answers are,
for this act has happened before.
Of a similar tale, though not quite the same,
There are clues that point the blame.

Follow the path, princess of desert lands,
only you, the one who understands.
Artifacts of old and ancient times,
Will help unlock these divine crimes.

Zoraida's voice ceased, casting the throne room into silence. Without another word, she turned and exited, leaving me alone with my thoughts. So it was up to me to save Imhotep. I had to find the Ankh and somehow give it back to Imhotep, even though no one knows where to find him, so he can be restored to his human form.

Wow, I said to myself.

I had a task ahead of me. I had to get to Qasala. I packed my archaeology supplies. Zoraida's poem mentioned clues and artifacts; I had to be prepared.

Three hours later, I found myself at the ruins of Qasala. Supposedly, Qasala was once a magnificent city, with large pillars and colossal statues of the finest quality. Each building had grand marble floors and ceilings, all inlayed with gold. Then, one fateful day, darkness swept throughout the city, sending it into ruins and massacring the people. No one knows what happened exactly, but rumour has it that the king was the first to fall. After that, the majesty that held the city together was lost. I had come to Qasala many times before to dig for artifacts. While I have found a few interesting tidbits, never any clues as to what happened that day. But maybe today I would get lucky.

I decided to enter the palace first. If the king was really the first to fall, I'd imagine that the most evidence would be there. As I approached the throne room, I tried to envision the palace in its glory days, rather than in ruins. The artwork was faded, but I pictured it saturated and gleaming with beauty and fresh paint.

As I reached the throne which was made of solid gold, I could tell immediately that something was different. On the seat of the throne was the Eye of Horus, a symbol of protection and royal power from Ra himself. There was only one thing that could have put this clear mark on solid gold: a god, and in this case, Ra himself.

He's guiding me? I said allowed to myself.

The thought that one of the gods was on my side, seeking to aid me, comforted me greatly. I was renewed with a great sense of motivation and encouragement. I searched around the throne for more clues. Off to the side was a rather large pile of rubble. There were many stones and blocks of marble below where the ceiling had fallen through. Also in the pile of rubble were several wall decorations that had collapsed or fallen down. I began to search through the pile.

My hand brushed against a piece of broken stone. At the touch, I could feel a power radiating off of the stone that grasped my attention. The stone had been carved by gods. I picked it up, it felt warm in my hands. The stone was engraved with hieroglyphics and illustrations. I skimmed through the words on the stone, too excited to read slowly, and began to pick up the gist of the stone's meaning. It appeared to be a set of brief instructions, guiding me to a new location that would give me more clues. Hungry for the exact details, I started over and began to read allowed:

Trickery and rhymes of sense,
await for you from this point hence.
Toward the north he awaits,
standing proudly west of gates.

He will hammer and he will drill,
his words will pierce your very will.
Hold your head and read the line,
the one most simple from your mind.

The next location only this one knows,
so should you fail, he shant expose.
You'll need your wits and trusty knife,
to endure the coming strife.

A knife? I thought to myself. I didn't have a knife. I didn't even know how to use a knife.. or even fight at all, for that matter. And who was this creature?

A trickster.. hmm.. Wait! Trickery and rhymes of sense. Of course! It is the Sphinx! I have to answer riddles from the Sphinx and she'll give me the next clue! But I still need a knife..

I put the stone tablet in my knapsack and decided to check the pharaoh's old vault for a knife. The poem used the word trusty to describe the knife. It was a bit of a stretch, but safe's are trusty because you trust them to guard your possessions. Well I was going to have to trust the knife to guard my life. I walked to the back room, behind the throne. There was a large golden box, embedded with jewels of all colours. The box would normally be guarded heavily by at least three soldiers, but since everyone was dead...

I lifted open the top of the box. Inside was a radiant dagger. It was long and slender, probably longer than your average knife but still much shorter than a sword. The handle was inlayed with rubies and in gold was the Eye of Horus once again. Now I was certain that this was the correct knife. I picked it up and again, it was warm to the touch. Power poured out of the knife and into my very soul, teaching me the art of dagger-fighting. There was no doubt about it: Ra, who had left his symbol and carved the tablet had also made and enchanted this dagger and left it for me to find.

Finally peeling my eyes away from the mesmerizing dagger, I glanced into the box once more. Inside was one more object: a sheath for the knife, secured around some sort of belt.. It was made of hardened leather and engraved with hieroglyphics and more symbols of Ra. I tied the sheath around my waist and placed the knife inside. I felt protected and ready for battle.

Making my way out of Qasala City, I headed north toward the Sphinx. The Spinx was located on the same side of the Nile that I was already on and was directly west of Sakhmet City. It wasn't too far of a walk.

About 20 minutes later, I was standing in front of the Sphinx. It had been years since I had been here up close. The statue was much taller than I remembered, which seemed odd since I had grown since then. Not quite sure what I had to do, I unsheathed my dagger, held it high in my hand and looked the Sphinx in the eye.

It is I, Pharaoh Egyptianity, ready to answer your riddles, I said loudly.

The statue stared back, unmoving and silent. Feeling like an idiot, I put my dagger back in its sheath. I paced a bit in frustration and finally sat down on the edge of the statue and rested my head in my hands. At my touch, the statue seemed to awaken. Startled by its sudden movement, I leaped off the statue and spun around to look at it.

Hello dear one. Are you prepared to answer my riddles? the statue said kindly.

Yes, I think so.

Very well. There shall be two riddles and you get one try for each. If you get either wrong, Anubis himself shall be summoned and kill you. Should you answer both riddles correctly, I shall reveal the mysterious you seek. If you refuse to answer, I shall let you leave unscathed, but my secrets shant be revealed.

Wow that was directly honest.. She doesn't cut any corners, does she?

I am prepared, I replied confidently.

At my confirmation, she began:

Which creature in the morning goes on four legs,
at mid-day on two,
and in the evening upon three,
and the more legs it has,
the weaker it be?

Perfect, already stumped.. I paced back and forth as my mind worked on overdrive. Half of my mind processed the riddle while the other half thought of Imhotep. If I failed, I would either be killed by Anubis himself or I would live out the rest of my life in grief and shame. I couldn't let that happen...

It's a man! I exclaimed.

The Sphinx smiled. Do explain, she said happily.

Well.. a man crawls on all fours when he is a child. Then he walks proudly on two as an adult, and then he uses two legs and a stick when he is an old man. And he is weakest as a baby and an old man.

The Sphinx nodded approvingly. My next riddle is thus:

There are two sisters: one gives birth to the other and she, in turn, gives birth to the first.

I smiled. I knew this one. I didn't even have to think about it! It's day and night, I said confidently.

Nodding again, the Sphinx spoke, You have answered both of my riddles correctly. I shall now reveal what you seek one time and one time only. You must be prepared.

I am.

The Sphinx suddenly opened her mouth, much wider than I would have expected possible. Peering inside, I realized that it was a passageway. I took a moment to collect myself and gather all of my motivation, and descended into the passage.

For several yards it was pitch black. I had to grope around in the darkness to guide my way. After a few minutes, I saw a faint glow from up ahead. As I drew closer, I realized that it was a torch hanging on the wall. I paused under the torch and decided to take out the tablet. It's possible that there would be more directions. I took the tablet out of my knapsack and read allowed:

You have made it far at last,
although the toughest part is not yet past.
Carry on through the passageway,
for up ahead an object lay.

At the fork it stands tall,
put it on and choose the east wall.
This mask hides secrets we wish not to show,
And shields eyes from evil glow.

It must have a body to work its charm,
but once settled it will mean no harm.
Protect you from the gods it might,
but still you must stand proud and fight.

Excited by what the poem revealed, I threw the tablet back into my knapsack and took the torch out of its holder to light my way. I then jogged down the passageway until I reached the fork in the road. In the center of the fork was a large, golden mask. It looked far too big to fit my head. It was decorated lavishly, with a golden falcon on the forehead for Ra. Around the chest were dozens of rubies and other gems, which caught the light of my torch and sparkled brightly. Coming out of the chin was a ceremonial beard. Great, I thought, I have to look like a man while I fight.

I put the torch down and lifted up the mask. It was heavy! I placed it over my head and opened my eyes to my new view. Nothing looked different.. but suddenly I felt empowered, like I had a sixth sense. I looked around to survey the room, and that's when I saw him.

Imhotep.

My love! I exclaimed. I found you! Where have you been? I can't believe what Anubis has done! I've been searching for you!

When Imhotep replied, his voice echoed as if he were speaking from another world. I have been following you ever since I was taken, darling. I was not able to speak to you until now and I have been hidden from you. Ra empowered this mask to reveal other worldly elements, which I am a part of. I know that Zoraida told you, but I am divine. With my Ankh I am a god, but without it, I am lost. I know I should have told you when we met, but I didn't think you would like the fact that I'm a few hundred years old. I'm so sorry, darling.

Imhotep that doesn't matter to me! I love you! I want to save you!

He smiled sadly and raised his hand to my face and gently brushed my cheek. Although I couldn't feel his flesh, I could sense that he was near, almost like a spirit.

I cannot be whole again without my Ankh. Anubis has taken it. I cannot let you face him, love. He is a god and extremely powerful. You must get out of here, it's too dangerous.

No! How can you say that! Don't you want to be with me?

Of course I do! But I could never forgive myself if you perished because of me. You have much to live for and I am not worth dying over.

Well that's for me to decide. Now which way was I supposed to go...

I picked up the torch and looked from left to right at my options.

It's the east passage. I will not be able to aid you when it comes time to face Anubis. I am not of your world and nor of his. I cannot touch him just like i cannot touch you.

It's okay.. I can do this.. I think.

With Imhotep by my side, I continued down the dark passage, both eagerly and nervously anticipating the confrontation with Anubis. Could my gifts from Ra really match up against a god? I honestly had plenty of doubts, but I pushed them out of my mind. With Imhotep here, it was impossible for me to despair. We were together again - in a sense - even if only for a brief time.

As we advanced down the passage, the ground and walls suddenly began to hum lightly. In the distance, I could hear the sound of beating drums.

Corrinto

Corrinto, or Cor, is a regal Fire Peophin! She was created by Ashley in mid 2003. She was originally a Brown Peophin but one day Ashley logged on to find that she had turned blue! This was shortly after TNT made it so Neopets could turn blue in the first place. Devastated, Ashley felt that it was time for a change. Upon completing a World Challenge map one day, she received a Fire, Fire, Your Pants on Fire Paint Brush. Ashley decided to use it on Cor. Cor enjoys roaming the ocean with Nitocrisca and Chemiqual. They enjoy playing among the coral reefs and sometimes they come up to the surface to spy on land Neopets! Corrinto and Chemiqual were sisters born of the same parents. When they were very young, there was a terrible accident that killed their entire family except for them. Corrinto and Chemiqual stayed together as much as possible during these difficult years. They grew up together and taught each other how to live and survive in the ocean. Those early years were very difficult for them both. As Corrinto grew older, her magical abilities began to develop and grow. She had the ability to create and control fire. As odd as it seems, Corrinto is connected to both water and fire. It is a very unique gift, but also very dangerous since Corrinto is connected to two polar opposites. She must use her powers wisely and carefully, which is sometimes challenging because her ability to create fire is also connected to her mood. If she gets upset, she can unintentionally unleash her powers in a destructive way. Nowadays, Corrinto spends a lot of time on the surface of the water, where she can create fire. In isolated areas, she creates firey tidal waves. To her, it is an art. She is not destructive with her powers and always makes sure that there are no nearby creatures when she unleashes them.

Mummify

Okay so she's not a Halloween Uni yet, but she will be! Ashley promises! She even has the paint brush ready, safely tucked away in her Safety Deposit Box. But right now she is undergoing Lab treatment. Ashley is hoping to use the Lab Ray to boost her stats a bit and maybe even get lucky and have her turned Halloween! That would save Ashley some neopoints. Mummify is a tarnished soul of the undead. Her tragic story is that of Egyptian Uni myth. Mummify, formally and previously known as Annakurah, was betrothed to a famed war hero, but fell in love with a commoner. She and her lover did their best to keep their relationship a secret for as long as possible - maybe even forever.. but their plan was foiled. Somehow, Annakurah's parents found out and were furious. Ashamed that their daughter was in love with a Uni not of royal descent, Annakurah's parents put her lover to death. Annakurah's grief tore her apart both mentally and physically. According to Egyptian Uni myth, when a Uni dies they bond with the element that they most identify with. Annakurah's lover bonded with water when he died since he was a calm, pure, innocent figure. But Annakurah, who was headstrong and passionate, became that of the firey undead and evolved into Mummify. She now remains restless, torn between the world of the dead and the living, unable to fully join either, and seeks revenge upon her royal family as she searches for her long-lost love. She spends a lot of her time by the beach and river banks. She longs to get as close to water as possible, but because her element is fire, she cannot actually touch the water. The grief is often too much for her to bare, and she ends up sending fields up in flames. One day, when she was particularly distraught, the hills were set ablaze, with flames licking the smoke-filled sky. The fire was so thick and Mummify was so filled with sorrow and grief, that her fire creation took on a new form.. a solid form... a live form. Through her anger and misery, she actually created another creature: a Moltenore. This Moltenore, whom she named Pyre, became her companion. Because it is of the flame and therefore of herself, they are bonded. Pyre is her only companion and probably the only one creature who understands her and what she is going through.

Nitocrisca

Nitocrisca is the queen of Maraqua and other seas of Neopia. She and her Lutra love entering in the Beauty Contest whenever they can. She has the most trophies out of all of us! With Cor, Nitocrisca and her Lutra enjoy exploring coral reefs and meeting new friends. All creatures in the Neopian waters love and adore Nitocrisca. She is a fair, honest queen and kind to all. She doesn't spend time locked up in a coral palace, she mingles with the creatures of the ocean, as if she is one of them. Nitocrisca also secretly loves hunting for treasure, though she doesn't like to admit it! She doesn't do it for the monetary gain, but for the thrill of discovery and adventure. Nitocrisca is very intelligent and probably the wisest member of our family. She always does her best to share her knowledge with fellow Neopets, by means of offering them advice or lending out rare books. Nitocrisca enjoys stopping by the Kelp Café for a quick bite of Pate a la Kelp or a glass of Thornberry Brew. It's her absolute favourite restaurant in all of Neopia. She probably goes every day! Nitocrisca is also very good friends with the Water Faerie, who visits her in the ocean from time to time.

blakieye

blakieye was originally a Snow Aisha. Ashley kindly adopted her from the pound as a Green Aisha and decided to take her in and paint her! As a snow Neopet, blakieye even got Ashley a nice avatar. After some time, Ashley changed blakieye's gender, morphed him into a Lupe and painted him royal. He now runs his own kingdom on the outskirts of Meridell. He's a very cheerful Lupe and although he's in his 30's (by human count), he still has a very boyish attitude. He's very playful and easy going. Despite those childlike characteristics, he takes his position as king very seriously. He is a fair an honest ruler.

Faichu

Faichu is a royal Draik with very dragon-like qualities. His kingdom resides in a barren, desert-like land near Tyrannia. There he rules over his Draik clan. We don't know much about Faichu since he is very solitary and mysterious. He doesn't like to mingle with many Neopets other than Draiks. He has done a fair bit of battling and I would definitely call him "battle-hardened" because of it. Ashley told us a story about Faichu and his Draik clan. Many years ago, there was an invasion in his land. The humans wanted to capture all the Draiks and ride them to get around Neopia. The Draiks would become trained, domesticated pets. That's when Ashley found him. Ashley was exploring in the deserts of Tyrannia when she came across his Draik clan preparing for battle. She volunteered to help Faichu in the war against the Neopians. It took a lot of convincing on her part to help him trust her, but he finally allowed her to help. As part of her service, she gave him a Ukali petpet (and a Mootix), who is very skilled in war. Together, they drove the Neopians out of his desert kingdom.

Chemiqual

Chemiqual is a Royal Girl Faerie Peophin. She spends much of her time with Nitocrisca, as they have similar personalities and can both be found in the Neopian waters. Chemiqual's sister is Corrinto. They were born of the same parents. Unfortunately there was a terrible accident that killed their entire family except for them. Chemiqual and Corrinto became very close and stuck together as much as possible as they grew up. As the years passed, they eventually found their own ways and began to separate. They were still very close but they had different ambitions. Corrinto was more adventurous and Chemiqual was more mature and ready for a steady life with a clear purpose. One day, while roaming the skies (that's another difference - Corrinto cannot fly or be out of the water for too long), Chemiqual met Queen Fyora. The two talked and had lunch in Faerie City and Chemiqual left with a job. She became the "spokespet" for Queen Fyora in the Neopian waters (since Queen Fyora can't go in the ocean). As Chemiqual can survive in both sea and air, she works closely with Queen Fyora and helps carry out her orders. Chemiqual avoids battling and other forms of violence at all costs. As she puts it, she prefers a "diplomatic solution." She is capable of defending her territory when she has to, but only as a last resort. She is kind and compassionate towards every Neopet.

Luminalii

Luminalii is a Halloween Ixi. She is a very unique creature who lives in a firey volcanic realm. While she does not have any special elemental abilities like Corrinto or Mummify, she loves the heat nonetheless. Her skin is flame-resistant and rather than burning her, all fire that touches her is converted into energy. That is why she thrives in volcanic environment. Luminalii is kind to her family, but also very proud and quick to anger. She lives a life of solitude and prefers it that way, although she does check in on her family from time to time. I am a little hazy on the details (we all are), I'm pretty sure that she lives in a small cave at the base of a volcano. I have no idea where in Neopia that is, but that's what I've heard from Ashley, who visits her most often. But how Ashley survives in that heat, I have no idea! I don't really know what Luminalii does in her spare time. I can't imagine that there even is much to do in such a desolate area. Maybe she's like a lizard and just basks in the heat, soaking up energy.. but what does she do with all that energy? Maybe she's secretly a battledome expert and we just don't know it yet.
