Meet The Council

Alex- Hey everyone, I'm the owner of Eccentricity™! I'm 21 years old, and I like collecting avatars and random plushies. I am easy to get along with, and I love hearing new ideas and suggestions. I hope you enjoy the guild as much as I do and I look forward to meeting you all on the boards!

Nikki- Hi there, I'm Nikki and I'm 26 years old. I'm easy going and laid back. I love having fun and occasionally I like throwing stuff at people...sorry if i hit you in the head. I love Kiko's and plushies. My office is always open if anyone needs help or just wants to chat.

Bubbles- Hi! I'm Bubbles and I'm 23 years old. I enjoy working on my neohome and collecting avatars. Currently, I'm saving for a Desert Draik. Feel free to Neomail me if you have any questions or need help with anything. I love to chat!

Dorth Vader- Hi guildies! I'm Dorothy aka Dortho aka Dorth aka Dory aka Dorth Vader aka DV aka D. As you can tell, I have accumulated some nicknames along the way. I'm 34 years old and live in Washington (State, not DC). Around Neo, I am known for my fondness for Pteris (and more recently added to the list, Weewoos). Many also know me for my efforts to get into the Caption Contest, which I have several times now. Not only is it a lot of fun for me, but I have made some fantastic friendships along the way thanks to it, which are priceless. The prizes and trophies that go with it are secondary, but it is nice to be awarded for having fun What else... I adore all animals, but have a particular affinity with birds. I play guitar and like to travel when I get the chance. I come from a musical family, so it only seems fit that I play some sort of instrument. I value my Neotime, but real life calls me away from the computer all too often. I am sure all of us can relate to that.

Zara- Hi there, I'm Zara, super goof of the guild or aka Queen Hippalop!! At 34, you learn that goofiness is definately a way of life. The Battle Faerie is my favorite faerie and I do like working on my Neohome. I run a few of the activities here and always available for help and fun.!!

Welcome to Eccentricity™!


Eccentricity™ is a private Guild for those adult Neopians who love the game and want to find other players with the same interests. We are an 18+ group of players who is very member-oriented and where every effort is appreciated. We are friendly and active, and love meeting new people and encouraging our rather eccentric addiction to Neopets.

Some of the things that Eccentricity™ offers include fun activities on a weekly or monthly basis, avatar & battledome help, and interesting (literate) conversation that will more than likely keep you entertained. The point is to create a great atmosphere where you feel as if you're lounging on a sofa with friends.

There are relatively few requirements, which include being 18+ and have an account that's at least 12 months old. We do make exceptions if you're literate or show exceptional interest.
The application is to get a better idea of what you're like and to keep the guild drama-free and relatively mature.

Rules

Ugh, I hate this part. By now you should know the basic Neopets Rules, so keep those in mind. We want to be a fun, relaxing place to enjoy Neopets, so please follow our easy guidelines:

  1. Enable Guild Mailing so that you are able to receive updates.
  2. Use basic courtesy when on the chat boards. Remember that Neopets does not make many exceptions to the real-life topic rule, and as a courtesy to other members, try and keep real-life drama off the boards.
  3. It takes more than 1 post a week to be considered active. Gift trades aren't available to inactive members. Post at least every week to remain an active member. We do delete inactive members every month.
  4. If you are going on vacation for an extended period of time, please let us know in advance!
  5. If, for any reason, you leave the guild and return, you start from scratch, regardless of situation.
  6. Any guild points or gifts can not be refunded because they may have already been used for guild activities. We NEVER ask for donations.
  7. Because we seek to keep a standard of literacy and maturity, we reserve the right to delete members who can't stay within those standards. They're not ridiculous, and we love the goofy, but it's much better being in an adult environment.
  8. Don't hesitate to drop me a note if you have any questions!

Ranks


Fresh Kadoatie: - This is the newbie rank. Kads have some time to get to know the guild, meet all the members, and dig a little niche. After 2 weeks, you will have the opportunity to rank-up to one of the 3 secondary ranks of your choice (Requires 250 posts).

Gallion Spork: - Never the one to leave an opinion unspoken, you're quite the chatterbox. You love to work the boards and have a knack for recruiting.

Flying Hippalop: - Can't seem to stop moving? Always need something to do or an activity to run? You keep the council's wheels going, and always lends a hand.

00Kau: - You're quiet, mysterious, and would rather work behind the scenes. Maybe the silent donator or beneficiary? Who knows?

Vintage Berry: - You don't choose this rank. This one chooses you. The perfect candidate has a little bit of everything and is dedicated to the guild's fun and relaxed atmosphere.

COUNCIL: - Manages the day-to-day operations. Dependable, capable, and eager to make the guild as good as it can be. Fresh Kads need to rank-up to apply.
To Apply for Council: Send aledml870 a neomail explaining what makes you the best person for the job. These will be reviewed, and if they are satisfactory, you will have the opportunity to go through a trial period. During that period you have to prove that you are exactly what we need. If it works, you've got the spot!
