You are walking around a city.It's dark and you can't remember why you are here.You walk around until you come to an ally.Squinting you can make out the shape of an animal in the darkness of the ally."H-hello."you stammer trying to seem as freindly as possiable.The creature took a step back,but you took a few steps forward."What do you want?"It asks. "Tell me,where am I?"You ask."You shouldn't be here."It warns,ignoring your question."Why?"You ask curiously.The creature stepped into the light of a street lamp and you see why he was in the shadows. "What happened to you?"You ask staring at the creature in astonishment."It's a long story,but if your willing to listen..."He trailed off.

Family?I was never born therefore I have no family.

Story

I'm not sure how I came into this world.I remember a room filled with strange sounds and machines.Alot of other animals were in the cages next to mine.A human with a long white coat was walking around the room frantically like he was looking for something. Soon the man stopped infront of my cage.Instinctivly I crouched low to the ground and bared my fangs.The man opened the cage and grabbed me by the scruff of my neck.He had on rubber gloves wich felt odd on my fur.He placed me on a cold steel table and strapped down my paws. I struggled trying to break free from the table,but it was no use.The man shoved some vile down my throat and forced me to drink some green,foul smelling liquid.Before I could react I was asleep.

When I finnally awoke I was in some kind of glass tube.I was floating and surrounded by green water that bubbled up around me.Some type of mask was over my muzzle making me able to breath and wires were connected to my body.I panicked and started thrashing around.I stopped instantly.Looking down at my back legs I saw that they weren't paws anymore,they were like a birds feet.My eyes widened and I looked at my tail to find out it wasn't my tail anymore.It was green with a lighter shade of green spikes.It was also scaley.It was the tail of an alligator.I looked at my reflection in the glass.I was horrified at what I saw.A had two horns on my nose like that of a rino and two antlers ontop of my head like a deers.My eyes were pupiless,just two crystal blue circles.Down my back was black tiger stripes.I fainted soon afterward.

When I woke up again I was in another room lying on the ground.The man was sitting in a chair watching me intently.I stood up.I was wobbly and weak,my back legs gave in and I fell back down.The man stood up and held me in his arms.He let me down on some sort of tredmill.I soon realized a harness was strapped to me,like a sled dogs harness.A rope was attatched to the ceiling and the harness.The man pressed a button and the tredmill started moving. I ran along with it.Soon it started going faster.I glanced at the man and saw that he was talking with someone on the phone."He is faster than any experiment yet."I heard him say.I didn't realize it then,but I was actually going one-hundred miles per hour.The man pressed another button and the thing stopped.He unleashed me,but kept the harness on.Instantly I ran for the nearest window and broke through easily. I landed with a crash on the ground,but stood up and ran off into the forest.
