The moon shines brightly over a grassy glade, surrounded by woods. The grass is high, almost 7 feet tall, unusual for any common type of grass. Fireflies flit about the air, glowing brightly. Nearing the center was a group of faeries, faerie pets to be exact. Each one was ecstatically dancing to a soft, ringing music. The stars dimmed in comparison to this glorious dance that never ceased. Among them was an oddly patterned gelert, whose sporadic markings would be impossible to describe in a short amount of time. Her eyes flashed green, then brown. She was a happy, moor faerie by the name of Dreamsign. She comes over to you, smiling. "Welcome to our glen," she said in a scottish accent. She smiles at you, and beckons you to come join the dance.  |
Story I remember. I remember when, long ago, I used to live out on the gray moor. I thought I was satisfied with life. I am a rare breed of faerie, the moor faerie. We like to pull tricks and tease people. I was happy to tap people on the shoulder and dissapear. But one day, that all changed. I was wandering far from the moor. I don't remember why. Maybe I was looking for something? It's not important anymore. I got lost in the forest, and there was nothing my magic could do to help me. So I walked and walked, though strangely, I was at peace. I wasn't worried about anything. Then I came upon the glen. I could hear it, I could hear the music calling. So I walked further in. It was beautiful. All were faeries, just as I was. And they were dancing. It was a wonderful dance, a magic dance. And I joined it. I remember that moment so well... the feel... the sights... everything. There was not a soul in the world who could stop me. And so, here I am, dancing my nights away, beneath the full, silver moon... |
