Welcome
It's a beautiful day in Neopia, so you decide to take a brisk walk down through your neighborhood. As you trot down the concrete, waving at passing neopets an altogether feeling cheerful, you hear the muffled sound of music. Curious, you turn off the sidewalk and up the walkway of a rather large neohome.
About halfway up the walkway, you see that it branches off to a cobblestone path. The front door is up the main walkway, but you don't think the music is coming from there, so you decide to follow the side path.
The cobblestones curve around the back of the house to a garage. The music is much louder now, and you can distinctly hear the crashing of drums and the throbbing of a bass. A red door hangs slightly open just where the path ends. You push the door open further and peek your head in.
Immediately, your ears are assaulted by a stream of noise. You wince and clap your hands over your ears, grimacing slightly. However, after a minute you start to adjust to the noise, and realize that the music is actually enjoyable. You feel an irresistible urge to nod your head and twitch your feet.
A wooden stage lays at the back of the garage - its a little rough, like it has just been built recently. Atop it, surrounded by a tangle of cords and amplifiers, are four neopets.
A Rainbow cybunny sings into a microphone, holding onto the stand and pulling it towards her mouth. Next to her a cloud xweetok jams on a red electric guitar, while a grey korbat matches with a white bass. In the back, and orange aisha bangs wildly on a set of drums, keeping a beat so fast you can barely see his sticks moving.
The song rises to a crescendo, and just when the energy in the room seems unbearable, a final chord and slam of the cymbals are struck. The echoing noise reverberates across the thin walls, and the various furniture slowly stops shaking.
You let out a sigh of relief and realize that the band has noticed you. As they mop the sweat from their foreheads and climb down from the stage, you start to wonder if you should go. But none of the pets seem upset, and the cybunny even smiles.
The Band
You strike up a conversation with the neopets, and soon realize that this is a full fledged band. The members gladly volunteer some facts, although the xweetok glares at you and the aisha avoids making eye contact.
