Through his name, Exlesiastes (Ex) which is a misspell of Ecclesiastes, you can see how strong is his beliefs in the Desert's religion and tradition. For example, believing more in the Desert's medicine instead of the scientifically-proved cures at the Neopian Pharmacy.

Ex is loyal to King Coltzan III since murder occurred in the palace. Then after, he continues approaching the obelisk shrine constructed by the King's daughter, Princess Vyssa to show loyalty to the Royals and to receive blessings.

Miss Candiess is a local of the Island. She is adventurous and courageous. Candiess enjoys hiking up the tall hill just to admire the beautiful sunset view during evening.

Furthermore, she is a sharp-witted person. She loves learning more about her surroundings and has never been lazy to do researches.
