Disclaimer: I was not forced to make this application, it was done of my own free will.

Hello Pepper! I'm Sarilain, and welcome to my application for Niathi!

I realize you prefer shorter pages, but since Niathi is my dream pet, I've tried to provide as much information and proof of my abilities as possible. To make it easier for you I've bolded key points in the application sections. This way you can just skim through if you'd like.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you enjoy my app!

Yes, my princess, your devil is here.

Be very careful what you wish now,
and be all that you can be.
I am your devil woken up now,
and I'm here to set you free.
Inside you hear two voices scream now,
that is you and that is me.
Just think of me as part of you now,
I'm your inner "Heavenly".

The Awakening

The scent of cinnamon and vanilla hung in the air as the warm summer wind drifted lazily and teased the many paper lanterns softly glowing in the night. Candy cane poles towered up to meet them, glistening in the chromatic light, proudly bearing the kaleidoscopic display above the brilliantly hued vendor carts and festival goers. Shouts and laughter mingled in the breeze, along with the din of pots and pans, as a tiny figure weaved through the crowd, skipping gaily, her stockinged toes barely making an indent on the ground.

Niathi loved the Summer Sweets Festival, it was her favourite holiday of all, so full of yummy treats and sparkly toys, the one night of every year she didn't mind staying up late. She urged her trailing scarf to billow more frantically behind her; she liked to run with the tinkling sound of her bells and pretend she was a fairy. In this fashion the little Gumdrop Princess hurried on, twirling and prancing through a sea of sound and colour, as she made her way to the stone dais under the cotton candy trees.

It is time, a loud voice bellowed as Niathi pushed to the front of the throng surrounding the platform, to once again put to rest all that has happened these last twelve months, good or bad, and to greet the dawn of a new year with our wishes and hopes for the future! The people of Candy Land cheered and their king smiled benignly down on them. Now, he stroked his long white, proud beard and scanned the crowd, has the Light arrived?

Ears wiggling and her tail twitching excitedly, Niathi barely squeaked out, Here sir! before dashing on to the ancient platform and skidding to a stop in front of the magnificently robed candy king.

He laughed deeply and his stomach shook, Eager, my dear?

But she was already unwrapping the cloth from the jar she held in her hands. I have my Light, can we start? Several glittering gumdrops fluttered inside the glass, dancing about like a technicolour firefly storm.

Yes, this year it was finally her turn. She would be the one to bring the first light and wish directly on the great fountain that stood silently in the center of the dais. Out of the three hundred and sixty five days a year, the fountain was dead save the night of the festival, when one lucky chosen would light it with their offering. Every person brought a different sort of Light, last summer it was the Duke of Gemington's turn and he of course, threw precious stones and jewels into the spout. The radiant stream that spewed from the top of the fount was so brilliant, many of those in attendance swore they were unable to see properly for weeks afterward. Niathi thought it had been quite lovely, but not so grand as everyone else claimed, after all, the Duke was a terribly boring old man and surely a delightful young princess might do a much better job? And finally she would dazzle them all.

The King's eyes crinkled and he motioned towards the center of the stage, indicating that she should proceed. Niathi quietly stepped forward and knelt on the dusty ground, and ever so gently she twisted the jar open and whispered to the tiny beings inside. Come on little fellas, it's ok. Time to work some magic... And with another flick of her wrist, the gumdrops erupted from her hands and disappeared into the deep inky blackness of the crumbling spout.

At first, nothing happened, the dais was enshrouded in darkness and it was so quiet it seemed as if everything around them had died. But then, suddenly... The ground rumbled slightly... And the tip of the fountain started to glow, then amazingly shot forth a blinding rainbow of colour, reaching so high into the night sky no one could tell if it extended to the heavens, or space, or even further than that. Miniature explosions began all along the stream, and sparkling flecks of multicolour magic showered down on the awestruck crowd as they oohed and ahheded and many turned to grasp their neighbor in a congratulatory new year's embrace. But Niathi simply squeezed her eyes shut and prayed fervently, I wish every day was just as fun and exciting as today!

Grinning wildly, she leaped up and dusting off her knees, ran to join the rest of the festivities. But just as she turned, right behind her, the base of the fountain shook a little and seemed to groan with pain it had held back centuries. If she had paid closer attention, she might have noticed some of the stones shift, she might have heard the spout's distress, she might have seen a blacker darkness than night slowly mist between the cracks... But Niathi did not look back, and neither did the king nor any of his countrymen. And so they celebrated on, long past the next day's dawn, oblivious to the great deathly evil that was about to consume all that was Candy Land.

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

Sweet, innocent, and carefree, Niathi is:

A young and excitable child, Niathi lives inside the largest cotton candy tree in all of Candy Land. Her home sits high on a hill in the middle of Gumdrop Fields and overlooks Crystal City, the national capital, a mile or so beyond.

Preferring to always be as comfortable as possible, Niathi likes soft, gentle, flowing fabrics with designs that closely mimic sleepwear. She has a very colourful wardrobe and owns many different styles, but she refuses to wear any pants or shoes. Footwear pinches her toes and she's afraid her tail might become caught if she tries on a pair of jeans. Instead, she owns numberless pairs of stockings and is highly fond of short, puffy pantaloons. Also, she is very lazy and often drags her tail on the ground behind her, instead of exerting a little more effort to hold it up. This causes her to dirty her outfits faster than she ought to, but she cares little because she's not the one who has to do her laundry!

Abhors

- Spam, Peas, and Lima Beans, but most of all Spam!
- Any kind of Work
- People who talk too much
- Pants and Shoes, they're too uncomfortable

Now, the Gumdrop Princess is not just a title, but a very serious responsibility. It is Niathi's job to see that every little gumdrop reaches his or her full maturity with all the knowledge and skills they will need in life. From the very moment they are born of the cotton candy tree blossoms, baby gumdrops begin their instruction in polite flying, proper wing grooming, and other such candy etiquette. And as Niathi is but a child herself with so many tasks, she cannot always be alert for the dangers that might threaten Gumdrop Fields.

So King Candy appointed a pair to watch over both the young gumdrops, and Niathi herself: the Kitten Guardian, Pudding, and Wormie the brave little gummy worm.

Pudding and Wormie take their assignment seriously and not only protect Gumdrop Fields, but hearken to anything Niathi says, no matter how selfish it is. They believe this is their sacred duty. Pudding is a master of psychic force fields and grocery shopping, while Wormie is highly adept at sensing impending dangers and dusting behind bookshelves. And on laundry days, the misguided duo will weep with joy at the great honour of washing Princess Niathi's beloved (and very dirty) stockings.

I'm not a fan of puppeteers but I've a nagging fear
someone else is pulling at the strings
Something terrible is going down through the entire town
wreaking anarchy and all it brings

I can't sit idly, no, I can't move at all
I curse the name, the one behind it all...

Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

I'm fine with changing status quo, but not in letting go
Now the world is being torn apart
A terrible catastrophe played by your symphony,
what a terrifying work of art!

I'm Sarilain: twenty-something, Aisha obsessed, and prone to wild character designs and rambling on about them. I like bright, colourful artwork, and adorable creatures that also eat people. I work from home, and never sign out from Neo; maybe it's an addiction? I also enjoy Korean music/dramas, video games, and scarily enough, etymology.

Been playing Neopets for 11 years now, my oldest surviving account is the last one linked below. I've enjoyed so many different activities here, and you can find a short achievement history further along in this application.

My accounts: Main Account - Faerie Account - BD Pets Account - Spooky Account - Maraquan Account

I have been frozen once before, it's the reason I'm not using sarilain as my main account. I offered to let a friend win a Keyquest game on a public board not knowing it was against the rules (I had seen many others do the exact same thing), was harassed and reported by a stranger, and never thought I'd see my account back. I did regain access months later and am extremely grateful; I now know that Neotimes editorial inside out and ignorance won't ever endanger my pixel children again.

My Art Site and Petpages:

If you'd like to see more artwork, please let me know! I have tons of digital arts and some traditional coloured pencil pieces.

My friend's birthday came while I was applying for Niathi and I had to take a day off to scribble this for her.

I love my fuzzy children, and here's a quick bio on each of them!

Name: Cakie (Kay-kee)

Description: The Cake Fairy, she turns naughty Neopians into little cakies until they repent of their wicked ways. Now including magical girl transformation sequences!

About: Cakes is only here because my good friend Jenn let me trade an UC she earned through Pound Release stalking. I know it was a crazy over offer, but I went silly over her name and determined I JUST had to have her.

She was recently painted Baby and I will be redesigning her as soon as possible after Niathi's deadline.

Name: Sjutin (Shoo-teen)

Description: The Prince of Chaos, she paints colourful nightmares at night to keep people from boredom and eradicates those pestilent Skittles by day. And is terribly snarky, most likely due to the fact she never, ever sleeps.

About: I know she seems poorly named, but Sjutin's name holds a lot of sentimentality from my childhood. She was a black and white flying kitten I had created, and one day I thought it'd be great to have her namesake on Neo.

Originally she was supposed to be my Plushie Aisha, and I am saving now for her morphing potion. She is still using her Baby design lookup and will be redesigned soon.

Name: Hanaku (Han-nah-koo)

Description: The Chaos Minion believes she is doing good in the world, but actually she always leads to disarray. Bopping folks upside the head with rocks isn't the way to get what you want, dear.

About: I worked hard and traded up from a four letter pound find, all the way to my plooshy 'cheek. Han's name is epic, the literal Japanese meaning is "half-evil" and fits her character perfectly. Prior to her trade I had applied for another Plushie Kacheek and I'm actually glad I was rejected that time, Hanaku is positively perfect.

Name: Aria (Arr-ree-uh)

Description: Ari the Feary is not only a frightening tale mothers tell to their disobedient children, but Aria lives up to her namesake by granting wishes horribly. She takes everything literally and uses only drastic measures to solve problems. The last person she "helped" wished for a million dollars and was knocked unconscious by a heavy sack of one dollar bills landing on their head.

About: Aria is my only unconverted pet, and I wouldn't have her if it wasn't for my friend Jenn. Jenn's had some good luck with Pound Release, and let me trade her UC Ice Bruce for a pretty UC kitty.

I've struggled with Aria's design, not because I lack inspiration, but because every time I try to illustrate her I'm daunted by the sheer amount of detail and skill needed to properly capture her image. I plan to draw her more art very soon, I moved her back to my main to motivate me to work harder!

Name: Ichiglo (Ee-chee-glow)

Description: The Glowing Strawberry is a well-meaning fairy, who unfortunately, is a horrendously awful cook. This pocket-sized catastrophe frequently bakes evil cakes, and oblivious to their people eating ways, she likes to bestow her gifts on various hospitals and nursing homes.

About: I wanted a berry kitten with the Japanese name for strawberry, Ichigo. But of course, that name was taken. I realized if I just added an "l" to the name, it sounded like I had a glowing strawberry. She's one of my cheapest painted pet, and I love her to pieces. Strawberries are one of my most favourite things, expecially in art, and pink is my favourite colour. She would be on my main account if I only had more room.

Name: Hoct (Hawkt)

Description: The Little Prince Snotling is a shy fellow, unable to speak and hides under his blankie Petpet, Loogie, from strangers, loud noises, or anything startling. However, he is a fierce defender and will do anything, no matter how dangerous, to protect his little sister Cissy.

About: My friend Moon owned Hoct as her precious lab pet. I paid very little attention to him, until one day he turned Aisha, then suddenly... SNOT. It was crazy. I was actually hunting the Pound Chat for the perfect named Snotling prior to this and had very little luck, most folks tend to keep zapping over Snot. And then I looked at Hoct, realized his name sounded like "Hock" as in "hock a loogie" (spit snot) and my brain exploded. Poor Moonie was pestered a bit and after a lot of thought let me adopt Hoctie from her. And I friggin' ADORE him. My Prince Snotling is the cherished baby of this family.

Name: Cissy (Sis-see)

Description: The younger twin sister to Hoct, this little princess cries almost constantly. The only things that can calm her down are her Plushie Ona, Wish, and of course, her older brother. Others around her have learned to use ear plugs to muffle the noise of her incessant wailing.

About: I created her from the purge not too long ago, spent many sleepless nights stalking names and was so proud to be the new owner of this darling baby at 2 AM in the morning. Unfortunately she doesn't have much work done yet, she is taking over my old character Guhmi and will be painted Ghost as soon as I can afford to.

Name: Merrody (Mare-rah-dee)

Description: Merrody the Era - a terrible accident in a laboratory leaves the soul of an innocent child permanently fused with a twisted technological entity. With two different personalities residing in her body, she frequently receives strange looks, and has a bizarre fixation with possessing toasters.

About: My friend Moon saw me apply like crazy for so many different Draiks and keep getting rejected. I had this obsession with dragon toasters and no pet to bring the character to life. So she had some luck with purge, and traded a real name for my very own draik custom.

I named Merrody as a combination of "Mermaid Melody" (cute anime) and as an alternate spelling of Meredy (my favourite "Tales of" game series character).

Name: Mintady (Min-tah-dee)

Description: The mermaid princess who has underwater tea parties with the Merbunnies! (Mintady just came home and is under construction. Image was drawn for another Mara Aisha long ago.)

About: While I was applying for Niathi, I was also searching the Pound Chat for the perfect named Maraquan Aisha. I found that no matter how cute the name was, I just couldn't find one that was as a perfect fit as the untaken Mintady. So I ended up offering all my savings to buy a Pirate Draik Egg in exchange for a Fountain Faerie Quest. Right when I was about to spend my Neopoints, I suddenly remembered I didn't do my dailies. And then I FOUND an egg at the Forgotten Shore!

Mintady's name is perfect because Mint is a common tea flavour, and it rhymes well with Merrody, my other Maraquan.

Please Note: Any pets not listed here are trading fodders or labrat fosterlings!

If I'm lucky enough to be chosen for Niathi, she will definitely be on my main account, buri_guri (Aria will return to my side that has her NC wearables). As my prized kitten she will always be my active, and anyone who meets us will know that we are inseparable. And I have a ton of ways I'm going to prove I adore her.

First of all, I'm a Beauty Contest fanatic. I believe I've won at least forty trophies by now, but unfortunately, some of those trophies were on fosterlings and trading fodders. (Ex. Efop and Aridic I still own, Slyrot was rehomed, Jen_my_girlfreind (only first two trophies), Farcito, and Quyou are old trading fodders, and Rixias I'm currently rehoming; eleven trophies total).

If the allure of BC-ing different pets hadn't caught me so badly, my own kittens would have a lot more trophies! But everyone has at least two; Sjutin and Hanaku are in the lead with nine and six trophies respectively. As for Ni, I'm going to earn her so many shiny cups they stack on top of each other in countless rows on her lookup. Won't be hard to do, Sjutin has already completed her first row.

I also plan to Battledome train her. I'm going to bring her to an even 600 HSD to start with, and I can easily fund this with Art and Poetry gallery winnings. Ironically however, I will NEVER enter her in the two player Battledome. There are items that could convert her, and as rare as they are, I just wouldn't risk it. Rather, she might fight in the occasional plot, but most likely, she's just going to look gorgeous with those numbers on her lookup. I think training is simply another way to make my pets pretty and show how much I care about them. All the pets on my main account have at least 90 HSD, but Sjutin and Efop are the best examples of my hard work.

Niathi will also win both the Pet and Petpet Spotlight trophies. I've entered a few times and haven't been chosen yet, but I know I'll eventually get in. I can prove my ability to work hard for a Spotlight selection with one Gallery and two User Lookup trophies.

Also once I settle down and begin earning Art Gallery prizes more frequently, I'll have the neopoints to work towards Booktastic, Neopian Book Award, and Food Club trophies for Ni. At the moment they are incredibly daunting, but I know they are possible because some of my hard working friends have them! (Sjutin and Aria are my best readers.)

Just in case there is any doubt, I'd like to assure you I will never, ever trade or convert Niathi. There is nothing in all of Neopia I long for more than an UC Plushie Aisha, so trading for another pet is just silly. On top of that, I've invested so much of my heart already, I would be completely crushed at the thought of losing her. And conversion is out of the question.

Now, I will rehome her if some day I quit Neopets. But after eleven years I'm still obsessed, so quitting is highly unlikely. More conceivably, I will need to take a break and she might not get as much attention for a period. I force myself to semi-hiatus once in a while so I don't get burned out on Neopets. I believe this is a necessity for anyone who wants to play indefinitely. However, I do check in every few days, and I keep a current log of account information, as well as screenshots of my pets for account safety. My kittens will never fall victim to thievery if I can help it!

I will keep her Plushie Angelpuss and Rainblug and rename them to Pudding and Wormie. I know I originally said I wanted to change to my dream Petpet, Plushie Kadoatie, but while I was brainstorming for tiny kitten designs I realized the one I chose looked more like an Angelpuss than a Kad. Instead, Sjutin will be parting with her Plushie Angelpuss. I'll be giving her Cakie's Plushie Weewoo, and Cakie will receive the Plushie Kadoatie. It's just unfortunate Sjutin's Plushums is almost as aged as Lily and has an expensive Petpetpet attached as well!

Here are some customizations I thought looked pretty cute. I love dressing up my pets, and Niathi will definitely be spoiled with lots of pretty wearables. Some of the items I have, and the ones I've yet to obtain are listed here. I only get NeoCash for holidays, so I'm not able to trade very often, but I've been gifted many times by generous friends, and I've also spent a few million on Neopoint wearables. There won't be any shortage of amazing items in Ni's closet!

Most importantly, Niathi will receive a custom pet lookup and her petpage will be this application with the app parts removed. I haven't made her a lookup yet because I would like to have a project to work on when I get her. Lookup making is a game for me; I love to move the lucky kitten I'm working on to my main account and spend a good week drawing, BCing, customizing, maybe BD training or book reading, and altogether just spoiling that pixel baby. It's basically my personal celebration dedicated entirely to that pet. And I think it would be a blast to do the same with Niathi!

And finally, I have already achieved a very difficult goal for Niathi. When I heard she was up for adoption, the first thing I did was begin work on a new user lookup featuring Ni, the Petpet I originally thought I would give her, and her original customization: Hot Air Balloon Adventure Background with the Sparkling Rainbow. I spent almost a week on this lookup in the hopes I might have a chance at a second User Lookup Spotlight Trophy, and I was completely floored when I actually won and saw my art in the news.

Image is linked to the news feature.

And for Niathi to be featured in the Neopian news, is one of the greatest honours I could have ever hoped to give her. Perhaps someday I will have the opportunity to do so again, but not with a nameless generic Plushie Aisha art, but with her beautiful, one-of-a-kind rainbow kitty design. And this time everyone will know it is she who has won.

I first started playing Neopets in 2001, and one thing I always regret is not working harder for my dreams. I was cleaning my room one day, and found an old note from middle school, where I was talking to my friend about how much I would LOVE a Kadoatie. They were my dream Petpet. But sadly, I didn't think I'd ever be able to save 15,000 Neopoints to buy one. It's now eleven years later, and I still don't own a Kadoatie. And unfortunately for me, their value has gone beyond measly pocket change to millions of hard earned Neopoints. But it's not just the Petpets I missed.

I kick myself mentally every time I see a gorgeous unconverted Aisha go by. How many opportunities have I wasted? I could have had so many dreams realized if I had only been more active. What about the time everyone got a free Rainbow Pool paint job? What about creating a limited edition Grundo with a space in its name? Why did I only have pets with names like xxxx_xxx_### when I could have searched harder to find untaken real words? But out of all these regrets, the one that tears me up the most is the unconverted Plushie Aisha.

I had no idea I would return to the site one day to find the artwork completely changed. And that day I realized I might never own my dream pet: the original squishy, floppy, big eared, and oh so hug-able ploosh kitty. Don't get me wrong, I adore converted Plushie Aishas as well. But it's not the same. Their antennas don't flop. They aren't so over stuffed they look like they're about to burst from the seams. They don't sit so proudly with their little chins held high, almost as if they're saying, "Look at me! Look at what I did Mommy! Aren't I your favourite kitty?" There's so much nostalgia attached to these darling unconverted pixels that I can't feel the same about their now obtainable counterparts. I love them, but there's a gaping hole in my kitten family only the squishiest plooshie of all can fill. The plooshie I've been dreaming of since childhood. It's just the dream of owning my own someday has kind of become that, nothing more than a dream.

Now I haven't given up; I still keep praying that after all these years my little bundle of fluff will snuggle its way home to me. I've worked hard to obtain secret laboratory maps on three of my sides, and on and off I lab pets in hope of an MSPP zap, or just something good on one of my trading fodders. I've Battledome trained them and entered them into Beauty Contests to earn trophies. So far this method has worked great for converted dreams of mine and a few friends, but the leap into unconverted trading hasn't happened yet. Realistically, I've very little chance of working my way up so far. I'd have a better opportunity at adopting one, although the odds of even finding a kitten up for adoption are insanely slim.

Then I saw your Niathi. The only other unconverted ploosh besides the gorgeous Curtsie that fits my exact favourite name format: two syllabled (if Ni's "a" is silent) ending with an "ee" sound. Cakie for example, is my favourite name out of any on Neo. I created Cissy, Ami, Guhmi, Whimzsi, Snoopy, Pandy, and the three syllabled names Merrody and Mintady. Three of my other pets at least have an "ee" sound in their names: Sjutin, Aria, and Ichiglo. I've also fostered many other sweeties with similar name patterns: Roazi, Exxay (Eks-see), Pickadi, Rimady... the list goes on. The truth is, I would have been beside myself to even bat eyes at a Mr_Dancy_Pants_2000 the unconverted Plushie Aisha. But to find a kitty with that exact name format up for adoption is a one in a million chance I could have never, ever dreamed of.

So to sum everything up: I'm applying because Niathi is my dream pet, and her name is positively perfect.

Aisha obsession has been the name of the game for me almost since I first started playing. They're just the cutest darn things on the face of the planet. They're cats to start with, and I adore kitties, really wish I could have one in real life! And the antennas... alien cats, you know? It's freaking epic. And the way their eyes slant and never open makes me think they could be Oriental, and I love anything Asian, or to be honest, it looks so sweet! They're just so innocent and dear. I really, truly am infatuated with Aishas!

And to prove this to you, I've collected as much evidence as I could reasonably cram into this little section. Evidence that not only do I adore the Aisha, but an unconverted Plushie kitty would be my greatest Neo dream come true.

And this was a VERY old app, if you'd like to see even more art and stories:

And this is from my long time friend, Perdita!

I may not be the best artist, an amazing coder, or a professional grade writer; but I have been an active player and I am capable of going to any length to meet my goals. So in this section I've compiled some of my most notable achievements to prove that I can and will do anything for Niathi.

First of all, I have been playing Neopets for eleven years. Unfortunately I was a silly child who shared my secret word and my "friends" stole my account. So I can only prove my Neopets loyalty starting from July 20, 2002 on my account gabbi_isdabomb. The reason I changed main accounts was because I no longer wanted to be called Gabbi when I returned as a more active adult.

Even though I wasn't always so goal oriented, I believe this age proves that no matter what happens in life or how many little hiatuses I take, I will always be back for more!

I began spending more time on Neopets in spring of 2009, I believe. I quickly rediscovered the guilds and found out how much more fun they were when run by Neo-knowledgeable adults and not the other clueless children I played with. And on August 9th, 2009 I created AspiringBLUE, a very successful adult guild that ran for little over a year.

We were successful because we had a combination of great members and activities that no other adult guild offered at that time. We had monthly meetings, Chat-A-Thons, an employment agency, Activity Nights, contests, auctions, gifting, pet adoptions, avatar lending, a guild mall, junk trades, Shopping Frenzies... There was so much we did I can't fit it all here. We were always very busy and coming out with novel ideas! But my favourite part was creating the guild graphics.

I made almost all of our layouts and many pages like the webbie and our graphics page. I also created numerous user lookups. Creating and providing for other users has always been my main impetus on Neopets.

And so my most successful endeavor is Sari's Arts, a collection of my artwork and layouts that are available for free use.

This is a screenshot of the time I won the site spotlight on a very successful graphics site, The Lunch Box. If you scroll down their front page, you can see Turnip still uses a little animated lunch box I made. It's just too sweet of her!

I have participated in many other activities the last few years. One of my favourites was the time I was a member of the Nursery Malls.

This is a mail I received from Haley, the current owner of The Nursery Malls, confirming that I ran the Wearables and Fire Faerie Quests shop. I worked very hard and built my store up to size 211.

One of my greatest obsessions is the Beauty Contest. Aside from the slew of trophies I've accumulated the last two years, I was actually blessed enough to win overall twice!

The first time I won with Aria and she took bronze. The second time was with Sjutin, and boy were we disappointed we only got silver! I'm really excited to try again for gold overall; the BC winners are now announced in the news!

I've also won some fantastic trophies for my lookup. I have seven Art Gallery trophies, one Poetry Gallery trophy, one Gallery Spotlight trophy, and two User Lookup Spotlight trophies. (The second User Lookup Spotlight was won specifically for Niathi.) I plan on working hard and earning a whole bunch more!

The next trophies I am working towards are the Site Spotlight and the Neopian Times. As soon as Niathi's deadline has passed, I will begin remaking Cakie's character to fit her new paint. Then I will be renaming Sari's Arts to "Cakie!" and revamp entirely with a new layout and graphics, and add all her Cakie adoptables to the page. I will move my private gallery and personal information to a separate page so Cakie! is one hundred percent available for free use. And then I can submit Cakie! for the Site Spotlight. After that, I'm going to be focusing solely on completing the Neotimes collaborations between my friend Modo and myself.

I also love participating in user generated events. I made the auditions for an art contest, ShineII, and you can see my entry here. Unfortunately I had to drop out to work on my Niathi application. That's ok, definitely going back again next year!

And that's a summary of my most memorable efforts on Neopets. Please let me know if you would like any more information!

Special Thanks To:

I'd like to thank all my friends for supporting me through this application process! I know I must have driven you all half crazy these last two months, but without your encouragement I wouldn't have had the guts to apply.

I'd especially like to thank Annetta, Annie, Marissa, Moonie, and Perdy for taking the time out of your busy schedules to write me such lovely letters of recommendation. You gals rule! And a huge thank you to Modo, Potm, Jay, and Tijana for your beautiful art of Niathi!
