STORY
On the coldest, darkest December night, a white lupe finds herself hurriedly padding across a vast frozen expanse. Her nervous ears flicker forwards, and then backwards again, listening to the ice moan under her paws.
Suddenly, the lupess comes to a skidding stop on the ice and perks her ears, her glowing white eyes wide.
In the distance, a wail picks up. A loud yip, followed by many triumphant howls. Ri felt her heart pound as it was struck with fear. Cave raiders.. she thought with panick. To the north, the crazed yipping continued.
Without a second thought the rogue wolf spread her white feathered wings, and with a few powerful snow-blowing downstrokes, she was airborne.

Ri padded slowly through the forest aspens, her eyes searching. She paused to observe some scent and claw marks left on a tree. Her black-tipped ears laid flat against her head and she continued to weave amongst the snow covered trees, not making a sound. She turned her eyes to a clearing, close in the distance.
. . . . . . .
The scent of blood filled her nostrils. Motionless bodies lay still in the darkness, their thick coats stirring with the northern wind. Snowflakes spinned in the air, and the white lupe made her way through the scattered piles- most large, but some very small. She took careful exception to step around the smaller balls of fur. She touched her nose to some, still warm, but still. Bloodied snow in the clearing indicated a heated struggle, while tracks lead off to the north. Perking her ears, Ri could still catch some bloodthirsty howling in the distance. With a jump, Ri caught something else; a small crying sound, towards the left of the cave entrance.
Ri made her way to the sound. Pawing her way up some large boulders, she found a small little shelf down in the rock, layered with forest matter. Within this shelf, was a small shivering pup, her white eyes wide with fear.
The small brush pile was cold and seemingly uninhabitable, a common practice of the Northern packs, who exiled family females who bred to outside blood. By forcing the female to raise her pups in the bitter cold outside the den, many pups were known to die. A hard lesson learned for the new mothers.
The thick coated, large pawed little thing made a few cries. She was obviously still just newborn. Around her neck, was a black pearled necklace, much too large for her size.
Ri had made up her mind. Reaching her head down into the pile, she snatched the little brown bundle between her tusks. Hearing the cries continue to the north, and taking one last look around the bloodied clearing, Ri spread her wings and flew into the night.
Don't be afraid, Dorriu thought. I'm here.

Anyways. Onto my artwork. I roleplay my uni's more often, however, I can draw wolves in a snap. Here is my sketch of Kolien :) When I make up my mind on designs it will be updated!

Hello :) I'm Kaycee, or KC. I am 20, going to college for Agriculture. I raise horses as a hobby as well as work on my truck, an '87 chev halfton :). I guess I don't have very much else to say!! I'm a fun loving, night-loving, party loving creature who has returned to neopets for something to do in my downtime :) My overall gameplan is to really develop personalities and characters for my pets.
I've had my accounts for years and I believe when I started brainstorming characters and drawing their designs, I was 15. Wow. So obviously as I've grown, my tastes have changed and many of my favourite characters (Aquiinzia) are in dire need of a re-do (cmon, purple spots?!).. Oh, and BTW, I was not forced to do a petpage application at all. I just wanted to do a really good job. I've fallen in love with Kolien's character and her name! She will be like the 'young puppy' tailing Dorriu around. Ca-uuute :) :)
