.:Welcome Aboard Shipmate:.
You look to the ocean, scanning the horizon in search of a vessel. With no suprise you easily spot it. A large wooden ship, flags gently blowing in the breeze. The smell of the salty air fills your nostrils, inviting you to the vast wonders the ocean brings. You continue walking, the baggage hung over your shoulder is beginning to get heavy.
A large ramp connects the ship to a wooden dock. Your boots clunk noisily as you make your way towards the ramp. You stop at the base, looking for any sign of life. Shrugging, you walk up.
Then without warning, "What do you think you're doing there mate?" a voice says from behind you. You whip around, to find yourself face to face with a large lupe.
His teeth stare fiercely at you. "Well...ye gonna answer me er what?" he growls.
You notice the drool hanging from his mouth. Then remembering not to make a bad first impression you look him in the eyes. "Do forgive me sir," you begin. "I was supposed to be picked up at this port. I'm to join your crew." You then notice that in surprise you had dropped you bag.
The lupe chuckles, the smell of rum on his breath. "Of course ye ere. Ya must be appyrodeo." He then turns from you, walking up the ramp. "Come on then," he gruffs.
You quickly grab your bag reluctant to fall behind. You notice the variety of beads hanging from his head. Each one more unique than the other. He had to have gotten them from around the world. A fine and rare collection it was. His bandana covers the top of his head, covering his long hair, though some strands managed to free themselves. Now aboard the ship you continue to inspect your new commrad. His belt, made of a fine leather, straps around his left shoulder and under his right. You notice a somewhat large compass dangling from it. You take notice of the detail on it. Its dark brown against the black. The henges reveal that it does indeed open.
This is yer barracks." he says, snapping you back to reality. "Put yer stuff away. I'll be waiting for you topside." and with that he leaves without another word.
Wanting to be on his good side you make haste in settling in and within minutes are on the deck. You search your quarters, in hopes of finding him. You notice the crew around you, all humans. How odd that this one lupe be aboard a ship of humans. You brush it off. Sitting near the stern he waits patiently. You briskly walk to him.
Sir..." you say a bit nervous.

He looks at you, he seems to be smiling. His eyes..you hadn't notice that before. They were glowing a blue. It was a soft glow, not bright. His pupils could still be seen. How curious. "I'm Felester." he says proudly. "Captain Felester, and this here is my ship." he stares you down, his grin dissapearing. "And you be lucky to be aboard it." He looks off, staring at the calm waves. "I figure a crew should know about their captain, so sit." He hands you a large cup, filled with some sort of drink. "Relax!" You take a small sip of the drink as if to see what it is. To your delight it is indeed rum. "Now i'll tell ye me story." he says quietly.

.:How the Captain Came To Be:.

So ye want to know how I became the captain of this marvelous ship then do ye?" Felester promptly asks. Nodding your head in agreement, he chuckles.
Giving a wink he replies, "Aye..okay then."
He looked nortbound. "First let me tell ye about Liverpool." he growled at the mentioning of the town. "Aye...Liverpool..
This was when I was but a pirate. Not a pirate captain, or particularly fierce. I was just a sailor who preferred the life of a buccaneer and enjoyed the company of hard drinking ruffians! I had seen plenty of action over the years, including the experience of being with Henry Morgan at the Siege of Maracaibo.
The one thing that made me stand out from the rest of my shipmates, was my gallion." He looked down at his companion who was now bundled up beside him. "Jacke had been with me for about fifteen years. I had found him in Tortuga, hiding from the rough crowd. Aye, I took him everywhere and he gladly accompanied me everywhere! The gallion was devoted to me and I to it. We were inseparable – Until the fateful day that we arrived in Liverpool.
The ship was tied up at the dockside. I and some of my shipmates and Jacke had gone ashore. We were all in a quayside alehouse, drinking and playing cards with some of the Liverpool locals. As the afternoon wore on, the drinking became heavy and tempers began to fray. An argument developed between a local fisherman and one of my pals. In the fight that followed, the fisherman got stabbed.
Now the fight had nothing to do with me, I was at the bar at the time and was not involved. But the following day, because those in the alehouse had remembered my gallion, I was picked out as the ringleader. I was thrown into jail and my gallion taken from me. I had to get him back." his face cringed, his thoughts racing as he began to remember more and more. "I apologize...this aren't me fondest memories ye know." He continued his story.
.:My Companion:.
Jacke
Jacke is my pirate gallion. For as long as I can remember he has been by my side, through thick and thin. He makes a great pick pocket, always grabbing up useful things he is. There isn't one minute that goes by when he isn't by my side. He never questions the things I do, and happily accompanies me in all of my doings. He acts almost like a pup. The ship is clean of insects because of this little fellow. He's the best companion a captain could ask for.

.:Why Felester:.
Why do I think Felester should come home to me?
The biggest reason that I ended up falling for him was simply his name. It is a very unique name and almost sounds piratey. I had been messing around with the design, finally getting to what I have now. It went from a slightly tweeked pirate lupe to the wonderful design that seems to fit Felester perfectly. I can't see this design with any other lupe. It was made for his name and personality.
Lately I have found myself roleplaying Felester to provide you with examples of my roleplaying. I have found that Felester is easily my favorite character to roleplay. His personality is fun and always interesting to roleplay.
.:My Plans For Felester:.
As you can see I love making petpages. With making petpages comes many other things. Such as roleplaying, custom adoptables, an updated petpage, friends, and the beauty contest. I also enter the neopian times, and my pets are the stars. Felester would be seen in many comics.
He would indeed be put on my main account appyrodeo, where I reside most of the time.
.:Roleplaying:.

I made Felester a very classy fellah, who enjoys the ocean but looks forward to visiting towns from around the world. As you can see from his head wear, he absolutely loves collecting his beads as he can show them off. Although he is the classic pirate (greedy, a thief, etc.), he does have manners. He always makes sure to tip the waiter. Below is an example of my roleplaying him with a good friend of mine, Tierra.

Felester
The waters were particularly frigid this night. The stars hid behind dense clouds.
A large wooden vessel wandered the vaste ocean. Its lights seemed to be floating ghostly in the darkness. Only miles from the ship was port. A large lupe held tightly to the port side of his ship. He was indeed captain. He closed his eyes, the wind and sea mist hitting his rough face.
How he loved the sea. The smell, the creatures, the adventures. He smiled, thinking of all the fun and trouble he would get into at port. It was always a mischevious adventure for him, his time at port. He opened his eyes, his crew doing a fine job of docking the ship.
Fine job men!" he said. It was a bit odd..seeing a canine run a ship of men. But this was something he had achieved in his lifetime. Felester, as he was called, was soon off the ship. "Aye..I love a good visit to port. Wonder what'll happen this time." he muttered to himself, finishing his sentence with a brisk chuckle. He walked on, getting ever so closer to the pubs.
Teralixia
Night had settled upon the land, the moon's face emitting light which dappled the wood planks that extended over the never-still waters of the sea; these planks were the only way that sailors could reach this land. A set of glowing auds watched in curiosity as a large vessel swayed upon the current, slowly coming to a halt in front of said port. Many gruff calls were emitted, most of them belonging to two-legged men. One such creature stood out among the group, though—he walked upon four limbs, sturdy paws carrying his lithe body dominantly. Surprisingly, he was the one to give most of the orders. He carried himself as if he was… captain. A faint smirk forming upon her thin charcoal lips, the hiding she-Lupe waited patiently for him to leave the ship.
Once he stood upon firm ground, the Lupe immediately headed in the direction of the town, which sported many a good pub. That of which, she had never been in. However, she had no need to—she was, after all, not a drinker. Instead, she lived off of the simple necessities that the land could offer. Water was, of course, plenty good to replenish her body. And for food… either she hunted, or she dropped by one of the multiple food joints in this small port town. Eyeing the proud Lupe carefully, waiting for him to pass far enough ahead of her, she finally ventured out of the shadows, revealing her small frame. As the moonlight shone upon her back, it showed a light teal pelt, which was well groomed. Intricate markings were placed intricately upon her legs and face, adding a bit of mystery to her.
Her feminine paws moved quickly as she followed the brute, otherwise hoping she would not be caught. Why was she acting so mysterious, though? She had seen him before; this was not the first time he'd entered this port. To those who had never seen him, they would suggest it anyway for the way he moved so easily through the town, as if he knew where everything was. Finally, he chose a pub, one that looked rather dangerous to the following she-Lupe. None-the-less, she would follow. She had gone this far, hadn't she? She had dared travel away from her dwelling to see this Lupe. She couldn't turn back now. Taking a deep breath, the teal-pelted wolf paused momentarily before pushing her way through the hefty wood swinging doors that blocked off the interior from the outside world.
Felester
Felester walked calmly into the pub. He had indeed been here many a time. He walked up to the bar, hoping atop a sturdy stool. It was comical, a lupe sitting upon a stool. He looked so uncomfortable. But he was indeed as comfortable as ever. He leaned against the wooden bar top, gesturing the bartender.
"Give me eh glass of rum." he said serenly. It was indeed obvious that he was used to ordering from pubs. When the drink was presented to him he nodded, thanking the man, and flipped a dubloon in the air. The man caught it with ease. Within seconds Fel had drenched himself with rum. Putting the half empty goblet down, he noticed a figure among the rest.
Such a feminine frame. Surely she had gotten lost or wandered here by mistake. She didn't look like one to be in this sort of place. Taking one last chug, finishing his rum, he fell from his stool. Landing hard on the wooden floor. Not the impression he had wanted to give off. He growled at himself as he stood back up.
Shaking the dirt off himself he walked over to the female. The beads dangling from beneath his bandana gave off a quiet melody. "Well ello there." he said smiling. His coat had not been groomed and it was obvious. The smell of rum lingered on his breath. But somehow his positive traits seemed to overcome his negative ones.
He gave a sort of bow. "Me names Felester." He looked up into her eyes. "Captain Felester." He was indeed proud of himself, and somehow it was more than obvious.
Teralixia
Immediately, she spotted him. Or, more so, she spotted his beads, which caught the dim golden light in their grasp as they moved with the swish of his bushy head. He was quite a magnificent creature—that much was clear. However, something about him seemed to be… off. Though she couldn't place her tongue upon it, the she-Lupe simply watched him with interest. He chugged drink after drink, of what she suspected was rum. She was close enough to smell it, anyway. His hearty laugh sent a chill down hers spine. His voice was more masculine than she expected. Looking over his bodice once more, she realized how very much of a pirate he was. He was… forbidden, it seemed, untouchable. And, though he was not groomed and rather rough looking, she seemed to be drawn to him. Hopefully, he wouldn't spot her staring, that would be awful embarrassing.
Suddenly, though, just as she had thought such, it came true. His glowing blue auds seemed to make contact with hers for a moment, searching her soul. The teal-pelted fae froze where she was, though quickly adverted her gaze. Perhaps she should just go now. A thump vibrated through the small pub; a few of the loud laughs seemed to die down for a moment. She still couldn't look up, though, for she had trained her eyes upon an odd plank of rustic wood, which was nailed so sturdily to the floor. The smell of rum soon reached her nostrils, causing them to flare in slight disgust. Why was she even in here? This wasn't the place for her. No, she should just run back to her cave, like the pathetic little Lupe she was. Surprisingly, though, a voice reached her ears.
Well ello there."
Daring to avert her gaze from the floor, the dainty, lithe fae suddenly found herself face to face with the captain of the ship that had so quickly captured her interest. "Me name's Felester," he told her in a matter-of-fact tone, pride dripping from it with every syllable pronounced. This little introduction was unnecessary, though—she already knew of his name. Yes, she had learned it the very first time he had come to this port, which seemed like so long ago. She could remember it now, actually. She had been about the same age, but obviously a few moons younger, and she was spying upon the ships, curiosity overriding sensibility and rationality. She had seen him then, his obvious dominance catching her eye. She had found that she liked him then, and talking to him now didn't change her mind.
Felester," she whispered, letting the name roll around on her tongue. Meeting his gaze, she swished her tale back and forth nervously. "My name is Tera… Teralixia." She whispered, a wiry smile once again appearing upon her delicate face.

I am currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I have been in the DEP program for almost a year and I will be leaving for bootcamp in August.
My hobbies include horseback riding, drawing, and neopets. I love making my pets pages, and developing characters for them. I am a very outgoing and laid back person. I have been playing neopets since 2003.
One thing other than art that I absolutely love is music. I cannot go a single day without it. I listen to all genres, but my favorite genres are soundtrack, modern, and 80's.
I have been drawing before I could properly hold a pencil. My favorite subjects are my neopets, canines, and fantasy.
I absolutely love to roleplay. I mostly just roleplay my pets though. If you need help with anything i'm one to ask. Even if I don't know the answer, I do my best to help you find it.
Kriptane
Kriptane's past is a very grusome one. When he was only a pup he managed to kill his whole pack. This wasn't Kriptanes's fault though, mind you. He was born with a multiple personality disorder or MPD. MPD is a psychiatric disorder characterized by having at least one "alter" personality that controls behavior. He cannot control when it happens or what happens.
His heart is in the right place and he does mean well. Although he his a kind hearted soul, he makes his living from theft. He is indeed wanted around the world for crimes far beyond any ordinary theif. He is stylish, but he has a weakness for women.
He doesn't speak about his past to anyone. No one truely knows what happened that fateful night, but his career distracts him from any unpleasant thoughts.
