Bittersweet Beginnings
It started when I was fairly young. I was a very curious filly and sometimes my curosity got me into trouble. I was also very cute, but innocense alone couldn't get me out of the mess I encountered when I was about 15 (in human years).
I was exploring some unfamilar terrirory one summer day when I came across dark cave. Excitement rising, I quickly entered the cave. It wasn't long before I thought about turning around and heading back to the entrance of the cave, because with what little light I had, I didn't like what I saw. Something suddenly moved on thw cave wall, and a great beam of light shot out at me and I fainted.

I awoke soon after that experiance washed-up on a beach shore. I had never been at this particular beach before, and I had little hope that I would ever get home. With my heart heavy with sorrow and regret, I ended up sleeping under a palm tree, and when I awoke the next morning I saw a truly shocking sight! My lovely blue coat was in the middle of turing a hidious dark grey!
I panicked and ran to the water's edge, just bairly being able to see my new coat. My red mane was turning a dark purple and my blue coat was turning an ugly grey. A black marking soon appeared on my back and my eyes turned yellow.
Being so young and self-centered, I nearly wept at how ugly I looked.
However, after a few hours of pouting, I pulled myself together and set off to explore the new land that was before me.
I was at the shore of a remote beach on Mystery Island, something where I have only heard of, but had never experienced it's tropical wonders.
While roaming aimlessly in the market place, I litterally bumped into a female newbie named Bikeman. She explained to me that she was new to Neopia and was looking for a neopet she could take care of and asked me if I had an owner.
I shook my head, and before I knew it, I was Bikeman's new Peophin.

Memory Island
Soon after Bikeman had adopted me, she found and adopted a baby Lenny and Pteri crossbreed she named Kaekyro. Kaekyro was my new hyper little brother. I wasn't really excited about Kaekyro however I grew used to him, and we soon became close friends as well as siblings.
Not long after that, Bikeman just had to go and get another new neopet - Sonar. I didn't really like Sonar and I still don't think she and I have that "bond" like Kaekyro and I have. However she is still my "sister" and I suppose, somehow, I have to love her.
One chilly morning, Bikeman decided to haul all of us to Mystery Island. All four of us split-up and I, naturally, went to the beach.
The heat was intense at that point of the day, so I decided to explore the waters. As I began to decent in the salty water, I realized everything around me looked vaguely familar. I tried to shake the feeling off, however I knew that I had been here once before as I came upon a dark cave. My childhood curosity began to come back to me, and I was dragged into the cave because of it. As a slowly made my way into the depths of the cave, I knew that this was the exact cave I had cgone to before I had by coat-changing experience. I quickly decided to turn back, however, just like what had happened all that time ago, a great flash of light shot towards me, and I quickly passed out.

My New Look
It wasn't very long after I had fainted when I woke back up. I had floated down to the cave floor. I quickly checked my body and saw that nothing has missing, so I quickly swam out of the cave and to the surface of the water. I lazily swam to the beach shore and examined myself again, this time noticing that my gray coat was getting fairly lighter. Sighing, I walked off and tried to find Bikeman. As soon as I found her, she said that we should go home.
Hours later, we had arrived home and my coat had already drasticly changed in color. It was getting lighter and lighter by the minuet, and my mane was turning black. Within the new few hours, my coat had been totally bleached. I couldn't say that I was really sad about the change, I was actually thrilled that my old, ugly gray coat was gone.
It didn't take long for my to adjust to my new look. I felt more confident about myself and didn't shy away like I used to do.

There you have it. That's my past. I didn't experience heart-break or any death. Simply my past.

Family

My family? I have three close relitives, but I don't suppose you want me to tell you about my eleven cousins."

Kaekyro: Kaekyro...Is my little "brother". He was lovely starry feathers and is very lovable. The only problem is, he can't sit down long enough to enjoy his uniqueness!

Lunar: Lunar is my caring "sister". She is so kind and considerate of everyone around her, and she even has an adopted son. ^^ She is blind, but that doesn't stop her! :)

Sonar: Yeah...This is Sonar. Another "sister" of mine. She is easily angered and insulted. I would be kinda sensitive too if I was treated like some sort of slave by some weirdo with a head shaped like a chicken. Besides her rough outside, she is very loyal and protective of her loved ones, and has a strong sense of individuality and equality.

Friends

Of course I have friends! When didn't I have friends? Heehee..."

Sea looks really familiar. I swear I've seen her somewhere else before. But anyway. Sea is a really nice peo with a lovely pelt to match her kind personality. Perhaps she and I can become better friends if we figure out of we have met before. X3

Ruuyjin, beyond his frightaning exterior, is sutch a kind and protective stallion. I seem to have always been there for him, and he has been for me, resulting is him being my most charished friend.

-Yellow-
Yellow was once my most dearest friend. He and I have been through so much together, however, the last time I saw him, he had lost all his memories and didn't remember me. Soon after, he disappeared. I fear the the worst has happened to him over the past year he has been gone, but...I still have hope that he might return.

Oh, my petpet Silver!" Rina exclaimed happily. "Silver's my Pfish! She's sutch a darling little fishy!"

Silver is my most loyal friend. I've had her ever since forever and the both of us make a great team whenever we go out to play pranks of that darn Jhuidah." Rina giggled. "Silver isn't really like every other Pfish. She can float around out of water, which is very handy when she follows me around."

Other Things About Me

If you read my story then you know that I underwent a traumatizing coat change (I was pretty young and self-centered back then, so what can you expect?). However, I optained something else. I received a few phychic abilities.
They were very powerful and hard to controll back then and I often got myself into trouble with them. However they are much less powerful now and I can control them much more easier now."

A few of my abilities were harder to control than others, like mind reading and floating. Others were very easy to do, like make things float and making illusions.
What I listed above were only a few of what I am capable of doing. On one occation I found out I could make things explode whenever I get very angry (that's why I try to keep my cool), and another time I discovered that I coulnd stop time for short periods. Thoes two things take alot of concentration and energy to do. However, I find them pointless and have only done them a few times."

My family members call this ability my "Gift". Others call it my "curse". Whatever it is, I call it pretty cool."
Rina giggles and smiles happily.
