An indistinct time ago, there was a war. There were no great generals, gallant stories of defeat, or horrible chaos. It went completely unnoticed, and yet changed everything..

The land of Münbit was divided amongst higher beings on an alternate plane named Yüksək. Böyük was the first of these, and undeniably the oldest. The tale of her creation was unknown and stayed that way until later rumor in Münbit twisted an almighty tale that included spitfire and chaos. She created all that came after, and therefore was revered by even those almighty manifestations in Yüksək.

Böyük ruled over all of Münbit for many millennium, watching the life breath in and out of the earth, until a great and terrible plague washed over the plants and the fauna. The qənim, as they were called, were ruthless, having no foresight into the now hopeless future of the land they destroyed. They were beginning to terrorize the higher plane, the unsoiled Yüksək, when she took action.

Böyük in all her infinite wisdom, pitied the ferocious creatures and transformed them into the dull, ignorant Ayıb. They were banished to inhabit Münbit, though so unintelligent they never knew of their fate.
