About the Guild

True Sovereignty is an active, chat based, neo-related, private, semi-literate, med-high requirements, account improvement guild (wow that was a mouthful--try saying that ten times fast). True Sovereignty is not about being the most elite, rather, it seeks to attract those who put effort into improving their account, whether or not they are the best in their area. Therefore, our requirements target those who are upper middle class in their achievements in Neopia--aka the ones who care--more forwardly known as the true Sovereignty.

About the Council:

I. Mary (queen_mayr) Hi I'm Mary/Mayr/Maryanna. I'm a 22 year old that lives on the East Coast. I am on neo way too much. I try to be friendly and fun. Please don't hesitate to neomail me if you wanna chat/have any questions! I am primarily in charge of the overall structure, events, and activities in the guild.
II. Caleah (forestedlove) Hey there, my name's Caleah (: I'm 21 years old and live in California. I'm currently in college majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Liberal Studies in hopes of becoming a math teacher. I love music, video games, and food. Green's my favorite color. I'm a relatively quiet person and easy to get along with. Feel free to shoot me a neomail whenever.
III. Libby (sinistermeepit) The name is Libby, I'm 23 years old, obsessed with chatting, collecting petpets for my gallery and most importantly collecting avatars! I live in England, work night shifts (45 hours a week), so tend to be online mostly at odd times! I spend alot of my free time on neopets, as I have been addicted for many years (first joined in ~2001). Do excuse me if I act a little out of the ordinary I am slightly hyper most of the time and very random...

Apply for Sub Council:

Are you interested in applying for Sub Council? Please make sure to answer the following in your application for Sub Council.

We are looking for dedicated, active, and preferably talented at html/css/graphics (but not required!) for Sub Council. The Application can be found under the Portal's Openings page.

Rules

1. We do not allow side accounts, even if you meet all the requirements on the side account. Rare exceptions to this rule. It would be too complicated since we hold 1np auctions and other activities and TNT doesn't allow buying/selling from side accounts (except to transfer funds). Thus the person would have to bid from their main and bidding from an account that isn't in the guild would be unfair to those who committed their main accounts.

2. Please stay active. Those members who have not visited guild boards in excess of two weeks will be removed. If you plan on taking a long vacation or a hiatus, please inform Council so we don't sweep you.

3. Council and Sub Council is a commitment to the responsibilities assigned to the position. If any of us neglect our duties in excess of two weeks, the individual will receive a warning. He or she will then have one week to rectify the situation, after which he or she will be removed from the position. If you can no longer maintain duties, it is alright to respectfully step down. You may always reapply at a later date.

4. Be semi-literate. That means please speak with as little ch@+$p3@k as possible. The occasional "lol" and "brb" are fine, but please don't use acronyms no one knows such as ISJMTU (I Seriously Just Made This Up). Not capitalizing is fine, and polished punctuation is not necessary, but please be understandable!

5. Be respectful of all guild members.

6. No begging or suggested begging whatsoever. All favors (such as lending requests) must be made privately through neomail.

7. No spamming. While we understand that sometimes it takes multiple posts to communicate your thoughts, five consecutive posts of "Hi" "Hi" "Hi" "Hi" "Hi" is excessive and will not be tolerated.

8. Absolutely no drama please. Drama will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with someone, please resolve it over neomail.

9. Don't cheat and please follow all of neo's rules.

10. No guild hopping, if you leave the guild and change your mind; don't expect to be accepted back.

Penalties

Breaking penalties will result in the following:

First Offense: Neomail warning.
Second Offense: 24 Hour Suspension
Third Offense: 72 Hour Suspension and FINAL warning.

After your third offense you will be permanently deleted and blocked from the guild.

Ranks Explained

RANKS

♙ NOBLE - DEFAULT: This is the beginning rank for all new members.

♘ BARON - 500 POSTS + 3 ACTIVITIES: This is the first promotion. Qualifies you for full guild privileges.

♗ EARL - 2000 POSTS + 10 ACTIVITIES: This is the final promotion. Qualifies you for special and exclusive events.

♜ DUKE: This is the rank reserved for the Request Team, Advertising Team, and Team Leaders. It enables board, calendar, and invite administrative powers.

☬ VICEROY (SUB COUNCIL): Requires majority Council vote. Enables Board, Invite, Calendar, Mail, and Poll administrative powers. Favors member for Council promotions if available.

COUNCIL RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Creative Head - Jointly makes major guild decisions. Organizes structure of the guild, heads guild activities page, assigns overall points, and divides responsibilities for all activities among Council and Sub Council

II. Technical Head - Jointly makes major guild decisions. Heads all guild teams, in charge of major graphics/html, distributes custom page requests among member volunteers, runs guild games page, and assigns custom, games, and team points

III. Points Master - Organizes and maintains Points System, maintains Council and Members Bio, and keeps track of Guild Points earned

IV. Head Recruiter - Charges up the recruiting effort, ensures and assigns schedule for daily guild boards, creates two recruiting teams, and assigns points for recruiting

V. Member of the Month

SUB COUNCIL RESPONSIBILITIES

VI. Battledome Champion - In charge of all BD events in the guild

VII. Game/Avatar Specialist - In charge of organizing game tips and strategies for achieving avatars and trophies

VIII. Mall Master - In charge of organizing and linking guild shops and galleries

IX. Pet Expert - In charge of all pet-related activities such as Adoption Agency and Wishlists

X. Publications Principal - In charge of all guild publications such as Newspaper and accepts submissions to weekly story
