You've reached the DDC home page. DDC is a custom art request site and mini online studio of sorts run by Titus. I specialize in and highly recommend my anime style art but I do accept most if not all Neo-appropriate requests. Read more?
The requester's preference is top priority.
Requests will be completed as soon as I can. Please do not rush me.
Don't hesitate to bring up any questions or concerns.
Rude requesters will not be serviced.
Listers if you add DDC, please mail me or I will ask DDC to be taken down.

I require visible text credit. Otherwise keep my signature intact.
You may only request and use art for pets you currently own.
Please don't edit my output. Re-sizing is fine though.
Strictly no offsite use of my art - with or without credit.
Neopets: Anthro, Quad, Petpets, P3s, Neopets characters, Neopets items - except Ice Crystals
Anime: Anthro, Chibi - I really don't make customs for established titles
Calligraphy: English, Russian, kanji/pinyin - cursive not available, Ambigrams*

I usually provide a few samples. Just pick which one you like best and perhaps a few notes on what you like/dislike and wish to change/keep.

Hi Titus. I was wondering when can I make another art request?
While not a solid rule, I generally accept one request from the same person per month.
I'd really like to make an art request depicting a famous title/character. Will you not make it?
Being on Neopets I really don't make much of anything else besides Neopets-based output. Perhaps try artists on DA and such sites?

If I adopted/traded out a pet, can I still use the art?
Of course I'll just change the name on the siggy. Your pet's new owner may not use your art request though.
I wanted to thank you for making art for me. Why did you send back the item/s I gifted you?
Sorry, but while I'm appreciative of the sentiment, I can't accept gifts as it violates TNT's rules.

I'm applying for a UFA pet. Can you help me by making art for him/her?
I apologize but I absolutely do not accept requests for pets that do not currently belong to my requesters. The only exception of course are Neopets characters/items.
I'd like to learn how to draw. Would you please teach me?
I'd be happy to. Although since my time is limited, I can offer critique and practice suggestions at best. I might also include references like books and resource material that you can use as a guide to help improve.
Petname is my dreamie. Please help me by making an art request?
Absolutely not. Sorry but I do not make customs for pets that aren't yours. The reason is simple: if you don't get the pet, he/she isn't your pet so the only person who can use the art is the new owner. Unfortunately if it has elements from your OC (original character) design, there will be conflict.
Because it is still my output. It bears my name and my signature so if it is edited it's not 100% mine anymore. Also, I do provide re-edits. If you wanted something changed it should've been addressed after the viewing time or once it's ready for pickup.

And the next site event is...
There are no upcoming site events. Try back later?

Dear Dhiar Customs or DDC was founded on 24th Aug 2011. It first began as a personal art page by yours truly but later became a full fledged art site on late October of the same year.
What a weird name... Dear...wha--??
The creativity-challenged site owner couldn't think of anything good last year so the page was named after the pet where the art was plastered. Dear and Dhiar are pronounced the same way and are both used as my beloved faerie xwee's nicknames. Yes, he is named after Zero Lancer.

Requesters are the site's top priority.
I just wanted to put it out there, but it didn't make much sense to me if I put up a custom art request site if I was going to do what I wanted. Remember to be as specific as possible with your requests so I know exactly what to work on and how.

Care for another spot of tea?
DDC is one of the more unusual places I've personally seen in Neopia's sitemaking community. It's more of a mini art studio than a 'proper' site. In short, it's a training ground of sorts for when I finally go pro. But I'm glad everyone liked the art I made so far - especially since most everyone who comes over seems to like their pets a lot. I get excited making art for well-kept pets. Being on Neo and coming home to my virtual pets is always the best part of my day.
Anywho, I'll be seeing you off now before I natter on again.
As always thanks for coming over to DDC. Remember to keep those requests coming!
Hope you enjoyed your stay here~

Draiks, draiks, draiks - nothing but draiks. I'm surprised 3 out of 4 of this batch of requests are for draiks. Guys, let's show our non-DUCK pets some love. Then again, it's almost the 19th so...
I'm planning on closing requests for the next two weeks just to catch some rest. That and I do have summer class to attend. Hope I can get more requests finished and the site event will be a success. I'm also giving a premade site some though but maybe when I've more advanced Photoshop and whatever skills. It's hard to do trad art that way.
That's all for now. Stay tuned.

So apparently DDC is being added by new site directories lately. Not that it's a bad thing, but I was hoping people actually mailed saying they listed my site or something along those lines. Anywho, long and short of it all, I requested to have DDC removed from all sites that didn't so much as bother to send word. It's just a basic courtesy really.
Whatever the case, best of luck to their sites. Onto more important news, I am enjoying mixed media creations. I am considering putting up an extension to the port and making my left hand sketches available. So much fun!

Finally! A new blog entry after a good while. My fingers hurt from trying out coloring techniques on CS3. Summer class will begin next week and I'll be busy as ever. I'm glad to have been able to spend time drawing again-- Which means I have no real vacation. But nonetheless, I am happy.
Just finished 2 requests today but I still have a fairly staple workload of requests to complete. I wonder what it'll be like working in a real comic studio... -unspeakably horrifying images of manga artists struggling to meet deadlines pop to mind-
...On second thought, I'll just live in the moment. -sigh-
...Motto shikkari, Teitosu-kun. Gambatta nee, Teitosu!

For the first time in half a year I'm able to enjoy sleeping in. I'm happy getting the chance to rest but summer classes are just a short way from here so I'm enjoying my brief rest best as I can.
Onto sitework, I find that while I love customization and streamlined art some of the old UC pet art are undeniably gorgeous. Some of my favorites are the UC Faerie Techo, Faerie and Pirate Xweetoks and RG Kyrii. It's fun to mix and match the old with the new so it's always a pleasant thing for me to look at when I draw.
BTW, I'm thinking of opening another site. I don't want anything too fancy and requires a ton of maintenance so I'm considering a tutorial of sorts. Why? Well, I noticed a ton of young artists going all crazy over Photoshopping artwork. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's nice to breathe life into trad art. That and it couldn't hurt that you're good at both old and new.
That said, DDC looks mainstream thanks to the new layout - which I believe I've gushed over time and again for people to get how much I love it right off the bat. And yet, the site's content is a bulk of art done the old fashion way. I'm surprised the site's 'lived' so long considering I don't do many requests. Perhaps it's just me but I've always preferred quality over quantity... But yeah, that's just me.
Anywho, that's me for the day. Out.

No advert, huh? Surprisingly I keep getting a steady influx of requesters notwithstanding the lack of advertisements. I'm also happy to note that it's officially summer break! More time to work on prettying up custom art requests I suppose. Although sad to say I can at most get CS3 tomorrow. Bummer but then I do traditional art so it's not much of a holdup strictly speaking. I do so miss having Picassa in my lappy but that's that.
Moving on I'll be doing routine summer training just to keep my skills sharp. I'll also be experimenting with the use of other media such as pastels and water colors so those request types will eventually be made available again.
Over and out.

Last day of my exams. Hope I survive this semester. That aside I'm beginning to feel a bit bummed thanks to my lappy getting reformatted. All my saved data - particularly for PSP and VBA- are all but gone. So much for making millions on HM:MFFMT eh? And my pokemon ruby save was just outside the next gym battle... Anywho, CS3 has been deleted so now that my system's gotten all sorts of upgrades, I'm wondering if I should stick with CS3 or CS5. I hear a lot of really promising features concerning CS5 but the problem is getting the installer.
One last thing I really really want CS5 for is the animation feature. And did I not mention getting a drawing tablet this May is one of my foremost priorities? No? Well, better customs for all I suppose! And no need to scan stuff. Of course if someone does make a trad art request I'd be more than happy to make the usual.

I just find it funny that regardless how long or short the rules page is people tend to neglect it. Perhaps it's just me but I always found that DDC had short and simple rules. Basically, I only require visible text credit, no alterations to my output. I didn't even require a trick word of sorts yet. Although at this point I am seriously considering it.
Other things on the site: First off, I'm considering adding the old option of letting requesters pick the medium used for their requests. Might be tricky but it's almost summer break so why not? Second, I still wanna learn how to make good buttons. The site is in need of a new button as the old ones don't fit the current style. And lastly, I have a site event planned.

Happy month of March. Little girls all over Nihon celebrated their hinamatsuri (doll festival) on the 3rd so it should've been a very happy occasion. Sadly, being in the Philippines I can only look forward to fire prevention month drills and final exams.
Requests are going steady, BTW. Considering I don't bother advertising I'm still getting requests. I should make it a habit to ask where people find DDC. I'm thinking it's from my listers but then, I did dawdle for a good while in BC. Still it's a sort of buffer since I'll mostly get requests from referrals and people browsing through web lists - meaning they actually want art. Over and out for now. Later~
27 Feb 2012
Finally finished the remaining site content and all necessary credit. Will be reviewing for tomorrow. I'm also thinking if I should advertise the site or not BUT Starbucks got by without advert. Let's see how many requests I can get without boards and such.
BTW, did I mention how wonderful the new layout is? It's such a breeze browsing through all the pages~
26 Feb 2012
After a much needed break from work as a site owner, DDC is up and running - sort of. I will require a few re-reviews for last minute changes. Also, since I'm busier I have downsized the waiting list. Apologies to everyone, but I'd rather not compromise quality in terms of output AND service. Thanks for bearing with me and I hope most everyone likes the new site layout. BTW, my older blog and such can still be found here.

DDC was created as a comic studio simulation of sorts. Servicing Neopians was just an added bonus.
I used to keep one but it has pretty much been inactive for a long time.
There was never a day when I didn't have even a single requester listed. As such, I don't do much advertising anymore.
Sites are featured on DDCs home page to make it easier for a visitor to find a site that will provide them with all the services he/she requires. Consider this an added courtesy on my part.
The port looks empty, the port looks bare. Was anything even supposed to be in there?
As an artist who has practiced for many years, the only purpose a port should serve anyone is to show people what you can do and how consistent you are. Anything beyond 10-12 images per page is just added loading time.
