Pet Problems
Body Parts
Let me first start off by saying that "copyrighting" body parts is one of the stupidest ideas ever to be thought up with. Thank you.
Ears: So you want you pet(s) to be the only one of it's species with ears huh? That's greedy don't you think? If your pet(s) are the only one with ears then how are all the other pets of the species supposed to hear? Seriously, they're just ears. Go ahead and copyright specific designs, but not the whole thing in general.
Multiple/Added On Limbs: Same situation as the ears. If it's an uber specificly designed limb(s) then whatever.
Designs
Basing Off of Real Life: Now, I do know people who seem to think they are the only ones allowed to base their pet off of something in real life. Let's break this down into two main catergories:
1. Animals - Dude. If you think you're the only one who's going to have the only Red-Tailed Hawk Pteri then it's gotta' stink when you see someone else has the same type of pet. Note, specific designs vary. It may be the same basic creature it is being based off of, but the specific details of the designs always seem to differ.
2. Media - This is a funny thing to look at. If you make a Phantom of the Opera based lupe, chances are you won't be able to claim having the only one and that no one else is able to have another Phantom lupe. There's well over five different Phantomy lupes. Same goes for popular shows, games, and other things of that nature. Note (again), specific designs WILL vary...usually.
Patterns/Colors: Here's the biggy. Now-a-days, trying to come up with something totally original is the in thing. That's 'cause all the basic and generic-ish designs are taken. Don't flip out if someone has a Uni that has a similar design/color scheme to your Zafara. If you've never seen that person or their pet ever before then that just means people think similary. Besides, isn't there a T-Shirt that says "You're unique, just like everyone else" and has like five people that all look the same standing next to each other?
Clothing: Don't copyright clothes. It's stupid. Yeah. AGAIN, go ahead and do what you will with your specific designs, but if your idea of making something specific is changing the size of the hat on your pet's head then well...good luck with that.
Other Odds and Ends
Jobs: This is a weird and not often seen thing that pops up in arguments over creativity, but it does not mean it does not exist. Unless your pet's job is down to every minute little detail totally specific (if any of that even made sense) then don't try and say your pet is the only one to have that job.
Petpage/Lookup Problems
Music
Stealing Music: Here's the bottom line: Nothing is safe on the internet. If you have a song you found on some search engine and just copied the link and put it up on your pet's page or userlookup (or whatever) don't expect that other people won't search for the same thing on the same search engine and put it up. Unless you're the owner of the song (somehow) don't put up the "Please don't steal the music" things when you've already stolen it. Oh, see? I just turned the tables right there. That's hardcore loop-holing right there B)
Stealing Music: This topic doesn't have quotes because it's about actually taking music someone has hosted themselves. This is when you have to listen to the no stealing messages. Don't go taking people's bandwith if that sort of thing is the case.
Here is where I stop and show you my music collection. I travel all around looking for petpages and lookups with songs that people say not to steal and put the songs up here. No, I don't take that person's link to the song (unless I know for sure they didn't host it themselves). Otherwise, I put it up here for a month for all to hear. If I don't find anything new to put up I go from the beginning of the list of songs I have found and play them over again until I find something new. In no way is this stealing music. What is music to do, but be shared by everyone!

Names
This is just so special to get it's own category without any subcategories. Coming up with an original name seems to be another "in" thing. Alright, let's use a real life situation: Please count how many other people you know/know of (including TV/book/movie/etc characters) that have the same name as you. Why does Neopets have to be so different then? In reality there's almost no way that you won't find someone (or something!) that has the same name as you. It gets a bit annoying seeing people spaz over someone having a similar or the same name as their pet (or username).
1. If your username/pet has a name that is like a regular word and someone else uses it too don't freak out on them. It's a word. It's not like the rest of the world doesn't know about that word too and hasn't named their real life pet the same thing. *Rolls eyes*
2. If you think your pet/username is uber unique you better check to make sure. I've seen some people create name that surely do sounds and seem unique, but then I've seen something in real life with a similar pronunciation and spelling (and the real life thing is sometimes copyrighted).

It is very annoying especially with music. They in no right own the music(Unless they are hosting and bla bla bla but still you could just do the same with the same song.)
