Who Am I?
Many people while playing any online game wonders who the other person playing might be. Well to help out fellow neopians learn a bit about who I am I decided to
create this little petpage. It is all about my interests mainly on here as if I am working or in school, I am on neo floating around doing my thing.
In Real life
In real life, I am a 5th year university student. I am technically only in the 3rd year of my program, but I spent 2 years trying to get into a different one. Originall yI
tried to play my high school strength of sciences and go for Pharmacy, as this area attracted me since I was little. I especially liked the idea of research and trying to
help find new cures for anything that ails us. Even possibly help with finding a cure for cancer, as cancer had affected various members of my family in the past,
although I was too young, to not even born, to really know how it affect those members. However sciences were not my strength in university, instead it appeared
mathematic and business courses took their place in the strongest area.
Where I seemed to learn more from the business courses I took, and excelled at my mathematic courses, I decided to try my hand at getting a Bacholeor of
Commerce degree. I had some trouble to get in, as I apply for an advance standing position, but I managed to maintain high enough mark to get in. Now I am workign
on trying to decide on a concentration for my degree. I am learning towards accounting because of my strength in mathematics, but finance or human resoures seem
to be my stronger subjects. (Although I had a french prof tell me I seemed more like an entrepreneur, so who knows where I'll end up). Either way now I have 3
workterms, and 3 terms of school left to go, and it is year around, so just 2 years left to go. I cannot wait to finish, because then I can finally find a decent job not
like my part-time one I had so far in school. Also I plan to move to another province, where travel should be easier to do if I wish to travel. (Where I live now it is
expensive to do any travel at all.) My guy doesn't care because he can work anywhere.
In My Spare Time
When I can I like to:
- bake. I would say cook, but to tell the truth, I hate cooking meats. I even hate preparing supper some nights, although I like to prepare it if I plan to have friends
over for supper.
- Chat online to friends - prefer in person, but living away from home makes that hard some times, so online is just as good for now.
- Shop. - I can be a bit of a shopaholic, especially towards accessories, clothes, and shoes.
- Relax with my man. - This could mean going for a drive around town, a walk, a hike, swimming, or just plan sitting on the couch watching TV.
- Finally going on Neopets. - My escape from reality sometimes
On Neopets
I been playing Neopets on and off for about 11 years. I actually stopped playing there for a bit just after creating this account. Then when I was in grade 9 I discovered that there were now avatars to unlock and been addicted tyo collecting them ever since. Sadly I have never been good at earning neopoints, and been bad at games, so the earning process of avatars has been a slow one. Although now it is mainly games, so earning them have even gone slower. (You can see my progress by viewing my needed avatars from the links provided on the side).
Besides being an avatar collector I also collect plushies and stamps. I also read books to my kougra, and eventually will start to train her again as well. (I need to be prepared if TNT decides to give us a war plot.) I also have a baby account, and have been thinking about what my other spare account should contain. I am really likeing the nature theme of the pets being released lately, so maybe I'll have a nature account, but who knows. Originally it was suppose to be a plushie account, but the converted plushies look horrible to me. The unconverted were so cute and squishy looking. Now it just looks like some one painted lines on a pet.
I also am into helping run my guild, by providing a friendly chat to members, and when I can a new activity or two. I do disappear often, so I cannot always be there, but I am usually on to at least check my neomail to respond to guild members problems/ comments, and to also respond to non-guild members as well. I don't mind being asked questions.
Goals
My goals constantly change based on my interest on neo. At the moment my goals are:
- Create a new User Look-up for my main account. (Maybe apply premade to my sides.)
- Obtain the Avatar Collector Avatar
- Reach 310 avatars
- Reach 315 avatars
- Reach 320 avatars
- Read 200 books to Tigger_stike_5000
- Collect 200 stamps
Those are my big goals at the moment, but I also have just avatar goals, obtaining one at a time. My goals there are:
- Get a game avatar by Halloween
- Get the kad avatar - 5 out of 75 fed
- Get the Wheel of Extravagance avatar
- Get the Forgotten Shore Avatar
