About Me

I was just a normal kid, really. I loved to read, so I read anything I could get my paws on. My favorite stories were the scary ones! You know… stories about monsters, villains and curses! I could read scary stories all night if I wanted!

One day my fascination for scary stories got out of hand and I decided to actually pursue one. My vision of them since has been shattered and I will never let myself be so careless again! Not that it will matter, of course, my curse won't be going anywhere for a long time…

The Curse

Though I try and keep it a secret as best as I can, but I know that someone will find out about it eventually…

Nearly a year ago, while paying a visit to Count Vonroo, I caught him at a bad time and was bitten. At first, I didn't know what to think - I mean, I'm just a kid, right? Nothing should happen to me! But when I woke up the next morning, I noticed that my colors had completely changed from their regular blue to a lifeless white and black.

The Count explained the consequences of the bite to me and Lani. Unfortunately, there is no cure and I'll be stuck in this form forever. He also said that, since I was bitten as a child, I'll never grow up.

I have to drink blood on a regular basis to keep myself tame. You see, I'm a vampire all the time, but I can easily hide it until the full moon hits. Once the sun sets on the night of the full moon, I transform into a terrible bat-like creature!

When I take that form, there's no telling what could happen - it's like I change into someone completely different. I'm always afraid that one night I'll change and get out of control - I might even attack Lani or Lilith. I could never live with myself if I did that… Not to mention that I could always endanger our guests - so Lani and I have to be extra careful about that. If anyone ever found out that they were staying in the house with a vampire, we'd probably lose business fast.

By keeping up on blood intake, I can prevent myself from a bad transformation. The more blood I drink during the month before a full moon, the more control I'll have when I transform that night. I don't like to drink blood, though… it tastes yucky and it's hard to get without hurting someone.

Maybe some day I'll figure out how to cure myself of the vampire lifestyle… until then, I'll just have to keep taking the necessary precautions to prevent myself from turning into the monster I could become…

My Family

Lani's the only one that's really related to me, but I consider Rose and Cazal to be part of my family too! :D

Rose is our owner. She takes really good care of all of us! She's not around as much because Lani lives really independently, but we get to see her sometimes. I like her a lot!

Lani is my older sister! She takes very good care of me and I love her a lot!! She runs a Bed & Breakfast on Mystery Island and we get a lot of visitors all year 'round! We get a lot of cool visitors too… like pirates! I really owe Lani for being so nice to me all of the time.

Mr. Cazal is the coolest pirate I know! He came to our house one time and stayed with us for a bit - then I got to meet his whole pirate crew!! He's really nice to us too. He helped Lani rebuild our house when his friends burnt it down :)

Petpet

This is Lilith. She's my best friend! She and I have been together for a long time. When we first met, we were both Blue - I was just a regular Baby Tonu and she was a Blue Faellie. We've both changed colors since then, but we're still just as close as ever if not closer. She's very good at looking out for me and we go everywhere together :)

Custom Trades are currently OPEN

So you've made it this far, have you? Still interested in trading customs with me? Well, my Tonus are pretty tough customs to make because they are very detailed - therefore, I have a few rules that you must read before Neomailing me a trade request. Keep in mind, I have been doing Adoptable trades for years. I have learned from several bad experiences that it's best if I make a lot of requirements before I trade. I hope you can understand that.

From the time our trade "begins" we each have ONE WEEK to make the trade for the other. That means I expect my custom from you by then. However, I will allow you more time if you need it (for whatever reason) - just ask politely and keep me updated on your progress. We can work something out, I'm sure. I've had trouble in the past where I've been cheated out of trades because people conveniently forget or don't pay me back. I'd like to avoid that… This also means that I give you my word that yours will be finished within the same amount of time. If it isn't, then your custom is either free, or you will get any other custom free of charge to make up for me taking too long.

You MUST provide me with a full reference picture. I will NOT make customs from descriptions. I eyedropper your images to match the colors exactly - I need an image to do that.

Be polite. If you follow all of my rules but are rude to me, then I have any and all right to refuse you. 'Please' and 'thank you' do more than you may think. Respect me and I will respect you in return.

I will only trade for full-bodied Tonu Adoptables! This means your adoptable must be Tonu-shaped and it must be a full body. Not just a head, not just half-a-Tonu, the whole thing. My adoptables are full-bodied, so I'd like to trade for a full-bodied adopt in return.

I will provide an "Adoptable Trade Request Form" below. Copy that exactly and Neomail it to me to start a trade. If you do not follow this rule, then I will ignore your Neomail.

This goes without saying, but any trades with me will be trading for customs of my Tonu Demtiri (nickname: Tiri). Tiri has two refs since he has two forms - they are both found here:

Trust me, it's better to ask a simple question than to royally mess up and annoy me later on ;) Make sure you include the species/set that you are talking about, though, so I know which one (I have a lot or adoptable sets, so I need for you to be specific!)

My Customs

Oh wow! I finally have two customs! Thanks so much, Sango! And, since I don't have many customs, I'll keep the regular Baby Tonu Adoptables below my customs :D

Roleplay

So you'd like to Roleplay with Tiri, huh? Well, great! But don't think you're going anywhere right away, there are a few things that I want to get across before you Neomail me. Most of what I'm about to tell you can be clarified more in Tiri's F.A.Q.s, My F.A.Q.s, and at Igan's RP Guide.

Before you decide on a pet that you want to meet Tiri, there are a few things to keep in mind. First off, just because we RP them, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll become best friends or mates or whatever so don't count on it. We are RPing solely to introduce our pets. Whether they become friends/enemies/whatever is up to how they react to each other - nothing is guaranteed. If you just want to RP so your pet can use Tiri as a status symbol, FORGET IT. The same goes for art - I rarely draw fanart and, when I do, it's either for my sisters or it's for friends I've had for years. So if you're RPing with me just to get free art/adoptables - find another sucker-artist to pester.

There are a few things that you should know about Tiri before you decide to RP with him. Now, just because I'm going to share these with you doesn't necessarily mean that your pet knows them. For instance, Tiri is very young. He's probably only about 4-5 human years old, but he's already suffered a terrible curse and has become a vampire. (you can view his 'Curse' section for more on this) So Tiri will never age - and he transforms into a terrible beast during the full moon. He tries to keep his vampireness a secret, though, because he's embarrassed by it and he's afraid that other kids won't play with him if they learn that he's a vampire. He's very well behaved for a vampire and will never attack anyone - he only has the chance to really act out of control on the full moon. His petpet Lilith is very loyal to him no matter what. Be warned, though, she hates anything male. So why does she put up with Tiri? Well, Tiri's voice is so high pitched that she hasn't really found out he's a male yet xD That's right, Lilith loves Tiri because she thinks he's a girl x) Tiri loves to build sandcastles on the beach where he lives with his sister. He loves to meet other kids/babies, and would probably like to meet other vampires... as long as they didn't scare him. Now, if you think you have a pet that might get along (or clash - because opposites/rivalries are really fun too), read Tiri's F.A.Q.s, check my Lookup to see if RPs with Tiri are open, and then go ahead and drop me a Neomail! Be sure to tell me which one of my pets you want to RP with, tell me which one of your pets you want to use and any important info about them. I want to be sure that they are compatible with Tiri (whether positive/friendly or negative/enemy). Once I think our pets could have a good RP, I'll usually say something like "Okay, why don't you send an intro." You can start RPing with your next Neomail.

Please note that I will flat out refuse to RP with a clone. Yes, it's good if our pets have things in common, but if I think your pet seems too identical to mine or if it seems as though you created your pet JUST to roleplay with me, I will turn you down right away. Some examples of this would be to Neomail me with "Hey can we RP? My Poogle is a baby vampire who had a really unfortunate run-in with Vonroo. Oh, and he really likes making sandcastles too... LOL just like Tiri!!" or "My female Tonu is a sweet little girl who would like a little childhood friend that she can play with and maybe fall in love with later on - please ignore the fact that she's only 3 days old.... and I know she's an Aisha right now, but I'm saving for her potion!!!" As bizarre as it seems, I get Neomails like that all the time and they drive me CRAZY. I WILL NOT RP with a clone or a maid-in-white-lace, got it?

Don't worry about being super-formal, because it doesn't really matter to me. I do prefer the Story-style over Chat-Style (refer to my RP Guide if you don't know what that means), but I will follow whichever mode you are most comfortable with :) Do be warned, though, if I get bored or if things just aren't working out, I'll either seriously slow replies or I'll just stop replying altogether. I also go through 'busy periods' where I may only reply once a week. This is normal for me so don't Neomail me saying "omg howcome you haven't replied, it's been like four days!!!" :p

I'm sorry there's so much to be said on this subject, but I've had a lot of bad experiences in the past - everything from people using my characters for popularity to people using me for free art. I'm just trying to avoid these things from happening any more than they have to :)

How did you afford a Baby PB/Faellie/Grey PPPB???
I save a lot… and Lilith was a gift from my good friend Chesh :D IIRC, Tiri's PB was around 400K at that time.

How did you get a Tonu??
I was lucky :D Every now and then, Neopets will release a few to be created. If you watch this page, once the number in the parentheses is bigger than the number to the left of it, you can create a Tonu. Tonus are also often released on Tonu Day or Tyrannia Day :)

Can my pet date Tiri??
Um… are you aware that Tiri is a BABY!! Back off, sickos.

Can Tiri be friends with my Tonu/Pet??
How can they be friends if they've never even met before!? Tiri prefers to play with people his age unless they're Lani's friends so I'll probably only RP him with baby pets :) (Please read the FAQ question regarding RPing on Brenda's Page, read Tiri's section on "Roleplay" {above}, and check my lookup before Neomailing me to RP)
