Paws ~ People Are Worth Schooling
First of all: We Follow All TNT Rules. Simple enough, right? No spam, advertising, flaming, begging or scamming.

Please....
- Limit the chatspeak.
- Don't talk about topics related to real life.
- Try to keep the topic about the guild or neopets.
- Avoid conversations back and forth. Involve everyone.
- No chat-like posts.
- And by all means, keep the peace.
A good post is a post following all of the rules, adding at least a paragraph of discussion to a topic. Small, one sentence statements or just saying "Hi" is considered to be chat-like posts. They fill up the board with information that is useless when somebody is reading through recent happenings. Here's an example:
Good Post:Topic Title:New
Hello! I'm new to this guild. My name is ***** and I'm **** years old. My interests are ****** and I enjoy doing *****.
Bad Post:Topic Title:New
Hi. I'm new.
The post that's labeled good may not look all that super awesome, but the point is that it contributes to the topic of conversation a lot more than the other one does. They're both stating the same opinion, but one of the posts gives more to reply to. It's easier to keep a topic going when more things are pointed out. The bad post was just a small statement. It's said, and there's no choice but to move on. It doesn't say much about a person, and it takes up too much room on the board.
Please do not beg. It is against both the PAWS and the Neopets rules. If you join PAWS just to ask for donations and try to make friends so that we give you free stuff, then you might just as well leave right this moment. And yes, asking for donations is against the rules, even if you do it nicely. You can also read it here.
We in no way offer any real life advice here. Please do not ask for it or take it. We are here to help with things Neopets-related only, and WILL NOT break TNT rules by giving advice to people we do not know well enough to advise. That rule stands for a reason, bad advice can really hurt a life. Please look to authorities in your life for this advice.

Council: Has a very important job for the guild and has a big responsibility.
Helping PAW: Is Subcouncil and has a job for the guild.
Paws Hero: Has done something very heroic for the guild.
Paws Rescuer: Has saved a few pets from the pound.
Caring PAW: Has been kind and active on the boards.
Kind PAW: Has shown kindness in joining our cause.
Fighting, harassing, or in any way making another member feel uncomfortable, will not be tolerated in our guild. If you have a personal problem with someone in the guild, please try and settle your differences through neomail. If you cannot settle things through neomail, then contact a member of the council and we will try to help you solve the problem. Our guild is about helping pets and each other, not fighting amongst ourselves.
Anyone who breaks these rules will be reprimanded, suspended, deleted, blocked or have Sloth throwing mud pizzas at them, depending on the severity of the offense.
