WEll hello there traveler. Exactly who you are, I have no idea, but my name is Darkrabbit96, but you can call me Sky for short. Well nice to meet you, I would like to tell you about what I know the most about. Do you know what that happens to be? Well take a guess! I am an 0FFiCAL Neopian Caterer, basically I'm a Party Planner, but I specialize in extravagant foreign foods. To be specific I am the person who picks out the menus for the hottest parties out! So when everyone goes to eat their food after dancing their heart out, they have a nice selection of the most extravagant and delicious foods of all of Neopia to choose from.

Do [Y0U] know who parties the hardest? The [FAERiES] in the island do! Allow I, [SKY] tell you how to set up the most scrumptious menu ever! Faeries all throughout the land are very busy day and night but when they get a break from doing their hard exhausting job they like to party! Their types of parties are extravagant and quite expensive. The type of drinks, to meals that they have is an AMAZiNG display provided by the Faeries themselves. Working together as a team to get the job [D0NE]. So if you want to know how to plan a party like that then this is the place for you. I'll tell you more about me later but right now how about we get down to business alright?

As well as just being a Party Food Caterer, to actually get the job you must be well educated in the background and knowledge of all various types of neopian foods and everything about them. Each and every one of my coworkers and I happen to be quite the food experts. Not only do we know the best dishes out but we know the origin, characteristic, compatibility, and history of the foods that we discuss as well as the foods we supply. It is important to know everything about the area that you work in so that you can have an extra edge on the competition. The more you know the more you can contribute into giving it your best. As a Party Food Caterer we are required to not only know the basic facts of food but their whole background as well, this is important so that we can fully acquire the desired requests of our customers. When I first started to research the wonders of foods I had to learn the basics and know the difference between the foods. There are many different types of foods as well as they come from many different places. Foods from certain parts of the world may be totally different. A certain place's delicacy's vary depending on what grows in that region of neopia or simply what the majority of the people like. If you travel around neopia going from island to island to even the coldest regions of Terror Mountain you will understand the amount of variety that I am talking about. This variety is quite important when it comes to actually putting together menus this is because foods have compatibilities. There are just certain foods that shouldn't be put together that could cause a complete uproar to your stomach, you don't want your guests going home with an upset stomach after your party now do you? That will surely be a memory and impression they will remember.

Speaking of variety if you travel all over neopia you will notice the difference in the types of food sold in the food shops and how they look and taste, some of the fanciest foods being found in faerieland and others around the world are quite different. For example Lost Desert is more common to having burnt, hot or dry types of foods and Terror Mountain on the other hand has cold types of food that are usually melty and moist, then there's neopia that has more of chocolaty and flavor focused types of food that vary from cold to hot to even in between. Depending on the origin of certain foods you can tell the characteristics of what some of the foods will be like because that is a part of the culture of that section of neopia, the people who live there are even used to the types and quality of the food. They can even be used to having it prepared a certain way. So that is why when you are preparing food a variety of well compatible foods are quite important when you are planning to throw a party or cater to someone's party requests.

Another thing that we have to study is the emotional reactions that certain foods cause on neopets and neopians. Some neopets can simply eat anything and have a stomach of steal. Others are pretty picky with their foods, certain gross foods or certain types of tropical foods they may not like and simply will refuse to eat. Trying to force them to eat certain foods will cause them to react with anger and that is not what we are looking for. Eating food can make you feel many different emotions and if you know what foods to eat to cause the good, and content emotions and reactions then that will leave a better impression on the people that eat it. Ice cream for example is one of the most loved pastries in all of the entire world of neopia. It is also one of the most favorite snacks to many. So if you pick a type of ice cream that is known to a certain small part of neopia not everyone may like it, if they try it, and don't like it, they will react with more anger than they would if it was simply a regular dish. Since certain expectations are put towards favoritized foods. You have to be very careful when you are choosing certain dishes, different dishes may cause reactions from the consumer.

Some people may wonder why a beautiful, fit, intelligent aisha like me would pick such a topic and profession to specialize in. It's pretty simple if you think about it. Food plays one of the biggest roles in the life of every neopian and neopet alike. We consume it everyday wiether or not it is the finest dish of the land or if it is your favorite supper time snack. The fact is that it is used and known by everyone, I like challenges as well as food so I decided I'd dedicate my time and effort into understand one of the most delicious and fascinating necessities of life, and that is food.

Well I've told you some of the different things related to my job and all that but I totally forgot to tell you about myself. Hehehe silly of me right? Well I already told you my name which is [Darkrabbit96] but everyone likes calling me [SKY] the reason being that I'm a Faerie Aisha and I love, absolutely adore, in every single way to fly. =D You can never replace the feeling of soaring through the air, wind in your fir, your ears peeled back from the speed, the occasional bug in your eye but that's part of the full package, it's just the journey of flying so you've got to love it anyway. =D Well enough about my insane obsession with flying, now let's get back to what's really important, me lol.

Enough about flying more about MUAH, aka ME. I'm type bad at introductions and things of that sort when it comes to talking about myself because when it comes to myself I'm the shy type. I'd rather if you simply just hang out with me and get to know me as time passes by because I'm quite one of the most complicated Aisha's in all of Neopia and even I being myself find it difficult to describe exactly who I am. I can describe what I do and all but I can't actually describe who I am. Well I'll try simply because you seem really nice. I'm a big sister, as well as a daughter. I have a mother also known as an owner named well darkrabbit9 but we call her Mommie or Missii Vea. On the other hand I'm a big sister and have 3 siblings and a petpet named FireSky. With such a big family and being the oldest I have a lot of responsibilities. Well speaking of being the oldest I have a twin sister except the only thing is we don't look alike; her name is Karina while mine is Sky. Darkrabbit69 is the name that everyone else knows her by but she's quite the cool one. =D

I love being around with her simply because I can talk to her and trust her with my heart she's like my diary, so I nicknamed her that. Well since I am a hard working employee for the biggest catering business in all of neopia my family usually expects me to come home and cook for them which I usually do unless I'm extremely exhausted. In my spare time I write well yea I do, I love to do a lot of things. I'm quite creative some people like to say but I don't know? Am I? Other people think I'm helpful and very rule abiding, when it comes to certain standards that need to be met. I love to always be on top of my game and have things perfect. I don't know if that's weird or not but I think that if you want to receive perfection and have people treat you a certain way you must try your best to give them perfection and treat them the way you want to be treated. Anyway that's enough about me, I even get a headache thinking about who I really am but hopefully I'm your new friend. Well it's time for us to leave my home and go to my work so I can show you the rounds and take you step by step through the preparing process of catering.

First thing on the agenda is well, a process you must do before you even enter the Catering Agency. This is raising the amount of neopoints you have as spending money. This money will cover all of the costs for the customized food and such so you will be able to host this party. There are many, many methods to raising neopoints and getting money. There are also many guides that can help you on your journey. I suggest that you get thousands of neopets so you can afford the high prices. We may have discounted prices for the bulk as well as payment plans but you still need at least some change in your pocket. Now there are many methods to get neopoints, these methods will help you that you are able to afford the payment for your party. I suggest that you get a job, start restocking, do stocks, play some games, entering contests ;] and just do anything that is following the rules that will be profitable. Whatever works best for you should be your method of choice.

Next thing that should be on your agenda is something very important as well as something that is hard to devote and stay committed to. This is what you call budgeting. I know it's an evil word but it's how things are organized so that you don't spend all of your money in one place. What budgeting actually is, is putting aside portions of money in sections so that you and designate what that portion of money will be spent on. As I said before things can get expensive depending on the type of dish, the origin, the complexity, and the time it takes to prepare it. So budgeting in advance, starting from the beginning is smart because it gives you a lot of breathing room to save up the money for the different specific things. If you budget really good you may have some spending money left over. Most of the things do cost a lot since our agency caters to upper class faeries and such but what sets us apart from the rest is that we have payment plans to help out our customers and have a wider range of people coming to us to cater their parties. The higher the price the better the quality, but if you have a good eye you can spend not too much money and still have the best menu ever seen. If money is no object then we can go all out in the planning anyway moving on.

Usually when we have a party we have a set theme, the theme helps mold your choices for the decorations, the music, and most importantly the food and drinks. The budget is based off of this as well. If you pick a complicated and well as specifically expensive theme then the budget will be quite high in order for the party to come out with a variety as well as up to our standards. Good budgeting will end up creating not only an organized party but an entertaining one too that will treat all of your senses. Choosing a theme is a vital step so let's talk about it.

You start off with a nice theme then you start to build on it. Think of all the things that relate to your theme and you can express them through out the different steps of organizing the party. To express a theme you can have food decorated in that theme, drinks in the color of that theme, napkins in the theme, balloons, music, backgrounds, really you could go on and on with a list of many different ways to make your theme really come alive. Usually after picking the theme that you will base your party off of we start with the drink selection.

If the food isn't up to the standards of the consumer, the party will be remembered for all the good things and for its horribly bad food. Who wants to go to a party and eat bad, gross, rotten, spoiled food? Certainly not me, certainly not the faeries who love to party and I don't think anyone else wants to either! So this section will take you more time and precise choosing, and decision making than any other section. This is because it takes a lot of time and organizing to get good food, related to the theme, within the budget/price range, as well as have lots of variety to satisfy the majority of the people at your party. Everyone has different taste buds, as well as likes different things so it's hard to please everyone but it doesn't hurt to try. I've given you an overview of what I do from day to day; my job, I've told you about food related avatars now allow me to tell you about more roles that food in neopia play. You may not notice it but food plays a big part in many different things as well as activities and neo-graphics. Now I decided that I would take the time to investigate the corners of neopia to give you a full outlined detailed report on food's role in neopian games. Yes, like the games that we all play when we go to the neopian arcade. Yes, I'm talking about the same games that support millions of neopian families across neopia and provide trillion of neopoints to people around the world. Now food plays a big part in games, whether or not it is being eaten, collected, thrown as a projectile or being rolled down a hill, it seems to have a purpose. After researching hundreds of many different games, as well as playing them on the way (hehehe) I tried proving the point and answering the famous question of "Does food play an important role in neopian games?". The truth happens to be that it does play an important role and many of the famous and most popular neopian games that are being played even right now. Q: How did you design this page, can you design one for me too?
A: Umm, I'm a striving graphics designer who got into graphics because I was a guild leader and wanted the best for my guild. I'm pretty busy with other petpages and projects so I'm sorry I can't, if I really know you then maybe otherwized sorry.


Q:Did you know I'm your number one FAN?
A: Lol, REALLY? Well thank you =] *hug and autograph* that's just for you. I love my fans.


Q:You said that the petpage has gone through many changes so what was it like before?
A:It wasn't food related it was about faeries and Sky's story to becoming a faerie and all about her heroes and things like that. It even had a Role playing type of story line that was interactive with the visitors that read it.


Q:Why didn't you redo the theme of the old petpage again?
A: I was looking for something phresh (yes I spelled it like that on purpose) and spiffylicious so that it would be more interesting to do, plus I do have an obsession with food. Doing the same thing over would be too hectic and I would get bored of it quick, and then most likely just forget about it.


Q:If you are obsessed with food then are you big?
A: Actually the funny thing is, in real life I'm as skinny as a twig, but I'm quite the eater.


Q:How did you think up all of the information and facts that you put in this petpage?
A: My obsession of food gives me munchie-powers lol, just kidding, No I love to write so I took a few days to think all about the different aspects of food, its impacts, the different types, culture and things related to that and I expanded on it on Microsoft word then pasted it on the petpage after spell check.


Q:If you are a Party Food Caterer why isn't the layout designed with all food?
A: Well that's a good question, the answer is simple though. This petpage has been redone numerous amounts of times (you can see the previous layouts below) and this wasn't the orginal theme, but the current layout's background image blend is the inspiration for everything that Sky does and is about. She loves being a faerie and having the ability to fly just as much as she loves her job. That's why the islandy and sky, faerie aisha picture was chosen as the background instead of simply a big background of food.

I decided to add a little progress report section to measure how much has been added and to see how much the site has changed over time, it's nice to see how much you've progressed and now you guys can follow along.

7/13/08 - It's been quite a long day of pixeling I completed the entire navigation section and made them all transparent, thank you lefty (giralicious) for telling me about the missing avatar - Chef Bonju. The rest of the day consisted of rating others' galleries as well as recieving some good reviews =D for myself. Petpage is lookin' good!

7/12/08 - I went out today so I didn't do much. I put tables behind the pictures and organized it, added the FAQ section, and did the graphics for the past layout slider. Only got 1 review today -.- S&G boards are uber slow but I did okay and still got a good 30 or so views, more work for another day.

7/11/08 - Took on all of the ratings & comments that I recieved and decided to redo the entire layout to make it more accessable and understandable to the viewers. I also spell checked, and rewrote every section, organized the sections, reorganized the banners, made +4 new banners, added the games section, and added the food chronicles section. I took out a good full day's work to edit the petpage today and im proud.

7/10/08 - Added more to the avatar section, redid the credits section, game section, plus a word count, (approx 2700 words not counting the lists before game section) and added progress report section.

7/09/08 - I ddded the divider banners, link backs, credits section, avatar section, spell checks, layout reconstruction (darker blog sections), header organization.
