The Tribe

Precocious is the tribe for those with elemental powers that are not fire, earth, water, and air. They are the more advanced elements. (i.e. electricity, lava, gas, etc.) Neomail your characters to Kat with the link to the petpage, your character's name, and the character's ability. You need to have a photo of the person to go with it. (No anime photos. Real people!)

Medians: Civilians who have learned to contain and control their powers.
Inferiors: Civilians who have or have not discovered their power. Those with powers usually are unable to control them fully.

Land

The spread of Precocious' territory is pretty simple. On the corner of the island belonging to Precocious is the royal family's homes. Behind that is a cliff that is a straight drop down to ocean water. The center is the mansion belonging to the High Priestess. Around that is the other homes belonging to the royal family and the royal guard. From there, there is a small, yet dense forest leading to the homes of the other tribe members. The forest is regarded as sacred ground because it holds shrines for all of the past tribal leaders, including the first leader of the tribe.

Beyond the homes of the medians and the inferiors is practically a wasteland. The land became that way from the past few decades of fighting during the time of Ash Marin's reign. The land is growing back slowly, but there are places where the land has still not even begun to grow back because fighting still frequently occurs around there since peace has not been achieved.

In the middle of the wasteland there is a small lake. This is where the land has started growing back rather quickly. The grass has come back, and even some flowers. Trees are in their earliest stages, so the land is very weak. Reese is attempting to preserve this land in order to let the area continue to grow and flourish in order to bring hope and peace to her tribe. Animals are slowly returning to the area, but the area is always under threat from the unrest within the Precocious tribe.

History

Precocious has had the reputation of a peaceful tribe for ages. That is, until Ash Marin came along.

Ash got his name from his ability, he could create and control lava. He was a tyrannical leader that put all of Precocious against each other. The cruel laws and heavy taxation he laid upon the people underneath him caused revolts from the Medians and the Inferiors for years. Ash saw the Inferiors as slaves, and the Medians were merely servants to him.

The tension created within the tribe was vast and suffocating. One day, the biggest revolt in tribal history occurred as a group of Medians gathered an army of Inferiors who had no control over their abilities to storm the Royal Family homes. Ash was terminated in the battle after a Median found a group of royal guards who were ready to turn on Ash as well. Ash was terminated by his own personal guard. Afterwards, his only son took his claim to power.


Jake Marin's role as high priest was short-lived. He aimed to set an air of piece over Precocious during his time, and he was semi-successful. But Precocious still had people who were highly against the royal family, especially since Ash's blood still reigned over them. Like his father, Jake faced his share of revolts. On his daughter's sixteenth birthday, a giant revolt stormed the royal family's homes. Jake set his royal guard to protect his daughter and all of the other young ones, and it ultimately cost Jake his life as he was ambushed by multiple villagers and terminated. His only daughter, Reese, witnessing the act in its entirety after she broke away from the royal guard.

Now, it's up to Reese to rule Precocious, and finish what her father started...

Rivalry

Precocious has long been the rival of Intrinsic. Precocious believes that their abilities are far more advanced than those of Intrinsic. It has long been believed by the tribe members that three tribes would be better than four, so Intrinsic should become a part of Precocious. However, their tribe does not see it the same way, and so the two tribes are constantly fighting over it. One day, Intrinsic will see that Precocious is the far greater tribe.

Current Issues

Now Reese is having to deal with similar problems that her father before her dealt with. The Medians and the Inferiors no longer respect the Royal Family and trust them to lead the tribe, and rebellions are frequent. The tension between the two sides rises constantly, and something must be done in order to calm the tribe before it is torn apart completely.
