It's night in Shenkuu. You'd just spent the day sightseeing, and you're now heading back to your hotel. Passing through the more modern part of Shenkuu, you button up your jacket and shove your hands into your pockets, feeling the icy air touch your cheeks. Your pace quickens. The lighthearted, exciting feelings you got in the more traditional part of Shenkuu were gone and replaced with a more foreboding sense. You quicken your pace as some clouds cover the moon. As you get ready to pass by an alleyway, a feminine figure appears in front of you. "And where might you be going?" she says from the shadows, a smirk on her face. You stutter and take a step back, ready to run away. She chuckles and steps into the light. "Hold on there. No need to be afraid..." From first glance, she looked like a regular young adult, but there was a different air about her. The slumping posture, almost-unkempt hair, dark-yet-expensive clothing, and the sadness beneath her eyes made you want to stay as far away from her as possible. The glint of fangs in her smirk intensified that feeling. She extended her hand in greeting, but looked as though she was uncomfortable doing it. "My name's Dapp. What's yours?" she asked, the smirk still there.
