RANDOM PIECE OF HER STORY

~The beggining~

This is a forest where many Xweetok's rome. Young ones are abundant now. In a den, a Red Xweetok, only about two human years old is sleeping. Next to her is her mother, her father is keeping watch outside the den. He is a large, Shadow Xweetok, with a proud air about him. Suddenly he notices a change in the atmosphere and his attention turns to the den. He walks inside and wakes his mate, a beautiful, Yellow Xweetok. "What's wrong Darkmoon," she asks. "I'm not sure Idrial, just wake Daisy and stay here, I need to go back out." he says.

When Darkmoon comes out, everything seems calm, but eerie. Then a burst of tall flames suddenly appears only about twenty yards from the den. "Idrial, Daisy! We have to get out of here, NOW!" he screems. Daisy and Idrial dash out of the den, alarmed. "This way!" he shouts again. They all run in the opposite direction of the flames. They stop at the river, for the current is running fast. "Over there!" Idrial exclaims as she points to a fallen log not to far away. Daisy heads across it, with her mother close behind and Darkmoon at the rear. As Daisy and Idrial get across crack! the log breaks in two. Darkmoon barley escapes as the log falls into the river. Slightly detered they keep moving on. Farther away, another obsatcle appears. It is a ditch in the ground. Idrial immediately jumps across, as it is easy for a full grown Xweetok to do. But Daisy is uncertain and intimidated. "I can't do it Daddy!" she exclaims. "Come on Daisy, jump!" Idrial shouts encouragingly. "Go, Daisy, you must! Now!" Darkmoon says. Daisy backs up a little, then, with all her speed, she just makes it across. Before Darkmoon can jump though, the ditch bursts into flame. "Daddy!" Daisy shouts. "Just keep going! Don't worry about me, I'll find another way around." he calls back. Reluctantly, Daisy and Idrial move on. "Mommy, Is Daddy going to be okay?" Daisy asks. "Of course, sweetie." Idrial replies, as all mothers would.

Daisy and Idrial finally find a safe place to spend the night, and have a restless sleep, as Darkmoon has not returned. Days pass and he still hasn't shown up. It appears he has died in an attempt to save his family.
