Neo-interest » I mostly just chat, really. Or zap my pets.
Music » Music is my first love. I listen to something of nearly every genre, but I'm particularly fond of Math Rock, Chillwave, Dream Pop, Indie Rock, Electronic, Experimental, Blues, and a bit of Witch House music. My favourite band is Foals, and I also really like The xx, Suuns, Wild Beasts, Blackbird Blackbird, Franz Ferdinand, AUSTRA, and Andrew Bird. I could go on all day, but I'll stop there.
Films » I love psychological thrillers. Silence of the Lambs, Seven, Law Abiding Citizen. Documentaries are nice, too.
TV Shows » Honestly, I rarely watch TV, save for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Last Call with Carson Daly.
Reads » I like mysteries and political non-fiction.
Games » I enjoy RPGs, particularly Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age.
Hobbies » I spend most of my time either doing something creative or moping around because I'm uninspired. I listen to music 24/7. Literally.

About Me

Hi there, I'm Corrine. I'm a 16-year-old high school student currently residing in the middle of nowhere, also known as Iowa. Glamorous, I know.

I'm an artist. I make art. Typically, I do digital art — graphic design, web design, photo-manipulations, and I dabble in photography. Or I did, until my camera broke.... again. My inspiration comes from music, emotion, or the occasional bit of intentional sleep deprivation.

I'm a caffeine addict. I drink enough coffee to kill a horse. The stronger, the better. Espresso is nice. I like tea, too; specifically, Earl Grey, blueberry, chamomile, vanilla, and English Breakfast.

I'm awkward, witty, overly sarcastic and I often prattle on about bands no one cares about. Overall, I'm pretty chill and laid-back. I'm not that difficult to get along with, despite my tendency to be difficult. I also enjoy debates, politics, philosophy, criminology, antique shops, soft grass, serial killers (I find them fascinating, don't ask me why). I tend to be a bit morbid.

Oh, and I'm learning French! I'd like to visit France someday.
