Introduction

The night was pitch black. No creature could see through the murky darkness, even nocturnals. All except for the strange xweetok that lept across the thick, dark woods. The only light seeped through his cyan eyes, which aimlessly searched around the area around him. I know it's here, he encouraged himself. It has to be here

His strong feet pushed off from his perch. The xweetok glided to the next tree and landed on a low branch. His gazed out at the horizon ahead. The sun was slowly peeking out. In a blinding flash, the mysterious xweetok swung his cape over his face and disappeared.

About Cytofire

Cytofire has an ultraviolet-sensitive genetic makeup that inverts his color every time the sun's UV rays hit it. He can control this sometimes, and other times, he can't.
His strange gene patterns are induced from being a former lab experiment. No one knows how it happened, but after he got sick of scientists ruining his body, Cytofire vanished out of thin air.

The mysterious xweetok soon came across a small kingdom near Shenkuu. After exploring it, he got attracted to a strange glow. The glow came from a pendulum, which was possessed by the kingdom's princess, Jiyue. She had fallen into a trap, and had used the glow as a distress call. Cy had nothing else better to do, so he saved her. As thanks, she made Cytofire her personal guardian from the shadows of Neopia.
Cytofire at first didn't like Jiyue that much. But soon, they became close friends and powerful allies. Since most shadows know about Cyto's immunity to UV rays and can easily track him down, he tends to absorb the rays to disguise himself from them.

No one knows much about Cytofire and his past, because he tends to be secretive. All they do know is that he is extremely discrete because of what memories he is holding.

Jiyue
Jiyue's really kind and helpful, but is kind of tomboyish and immature. It's my duty to guard her, since she's a princess. She can be annoying because she can't stop talking, but she's a great ally. Her pendulum has gotten us out of a lot of situations. I'm not even sure it's just a pendulum. I've always thought there was a living being trapped in there that's been helping us. But anyway, going back to Jiyue, I wouldn't even be here sometimes if it weren't for her.

Xokua
Oi. Xokua's really kindhearted, but he gets himself into too much trouble. I'd think someone who is a reconciled delinquent would be more mature, especially because he's the oldest out of Okibi's xweetoks. He is banned from seeing his friends because of his past, but he hides himself just to see his friends and his sister. I really care about him since he's my friend, but to be honest, it'd be funny if he got caught. He never does, by the way, he runs really fast. Xokua can get on my nerves like everyone else, but he's really cool.

Klaidie
Sweet girl. She acts very independent and mature for her young age since Xokua's not there for her. She is very wise and cares for all of her younger siblings like a loving parent would. Don't be fooled though. Get her mad, she'll tear you to shreds. 0___0 Trust me. I know.

Forgotten
I met her when trying to find Ivory with Xokua and Klaidie. She's really nice, but she has a demon side to her that tried to attack me. But thanks to Ivory, and with Klaide's help, she was saved. I don't know much about her, but I guess it's because she's secretive. Like me.

Bounder
This guy's really quiet, but he seems to care for Forgotten and Ivory a lot. I respect that. I met Bounder during that same encounter with Forgotten and Ivory. I don't know much about him either since he's also pretty secretive.

Enemies

Khaodi
Ugh...I can't stand her. Khaodi claims to be my sister, but I don't believe that a pessimistic emo like her could be MY sister.
(Okibi: I see a perfect resemblence. :3)
Anyway, she was also once a member of the Nenshoudoku/The Shadows and tried to KILL me! Even if she is my sister, how could she do such a thing? Then again, she's also tried to save me a few times...but still.

Ivory
Ivory....she's one of the only ones who didn't judge me. We first met when she saved me from drowning. She also saved me again from getting attacked by Toshi. I feel so greatful that she was there for me. Ivory's really good to me and is very beautiful. I love her so much, and would die if she ever left me.
