It was like I had seen it coming,in a dream.My parents,were members of a pack. I was a pup back then. My parents were not sure of me. I..was well....Many of the other pups would avoid me.That's when everything changed.

Chapter 2: Go.

I was not excepted in my pack.Most of the members would claim to see me at night walking around at night, hunting their pups.

One day,I over heard my parents and the pack leader,talking about me.That's when I heard the leader say, "He must go."

Those very word frighted me.I knew,I had to do something.
I turned, and ran to my den, but my running was loud enough for my parents and the leader to hear. The saw me and my father and the leader took no time to chase me. I was pinned to the ground by their paws.
My mother stood a good distance away, watching me as I yelped and howled. Before I knew it, the entire pack was up. I could hear them laughing,I could even hear some whispering things like; "Are those the start of wings I see on his back?" "LOOK!! It's that pup!!" Then I heard the leader turn his head to the crowd of wolves circled around us. "Come!!" He called. "Help us!"
Instantly, the entire pack was over me. I could feel their teeth biting at me, and their snarls and wails. I was helpless. But....when I turned my head to the side, through all the paws before me, I could see my mother. She hadn't moved from her spot and tears ran down her face.

I managed to cry out to her. "MOTHER!!!!!PLEASE!! Help me!!!" My mother's eyes widened and she took a few steps towards the circle of wolves. Her voice was muffled from the growl's of the other wolves, but I could make out what she was saying. "I'm...not your mother. Your parents left you...we found you...and...keeping you....GO AWAY!!!TAKE HIM AWAY!" She burst out into screams and my father started to drag me away from the dens.

I went unconscious after that; I could hear screams and growls...I aced all over and when I finally woke up, I was lying in some weeds beside a shallow river.
The sun must have been setting, because all I could remember was looking up at the dark sky and listening to crickets chirp. Every now and then a fire-fly would pass by.
I went unconscious again....but....before I did, I saw something small scurry through the water, heading straight at me.

Chapter 3: Home.

I woke up the next morning in a small den. The ground was covered with dead grass and soil. I rolled over and saw a white dragon standing beside me. It stood about a foot and a half tall, and started to speak, "Oh, your awake... good to see your alright."
I lie there, quiet for a few minutes blinking in confusion. " W-where am I? WH-WHO ARE YOU?!?" I panicked and scrambled over to a corner.
The dragon just laughed and walked over to me. "Why...your in my home." She flapped her wings and smiled. "Just call me mother."
I sat there and blinked. "My...mother? B-b-but your a dragon...I'm....a wolf!"
She motioned to a pile of grass where small white dragons were curled up sleeping. "Well...I'm taking you in. Over there are your brothers and sisters."
I growled but soon stopped. "B-brothers...and......sisters? B-but why are your acting like I'm your child?"
The dragon sighed. "Because....now you are. Please, your just a pup, stay here for a while, please, you'll grow up with a family."
I started to cry after she spoke. "You-your going to take me in?"
She smiled and nodded. "Okay....mother." I said.

Chapter 4: The good times.

I lived with my new mother and her pack of dragons in the woods for quite a while. My new siblings were a bit smaller then me at the time. One of them was my younger sibling Kioku. Even when I would play with other family's hatching, she would be following right behind me.

It wasn't long before my mother and siblings could ride on my back all at once. As an older pup I was much bigger then them and every family relied on me to protect them from predictors.

Chapter 5: Never coming back.

One morning, while I was playing with my siblings my mother called me over. I went over to my mother who was standing in the entrance of her den.

Son, do you know where your going today?" She asked me.
Uh...no."I answered.
Your a wolf, but just like us you hunt. I want to to take Kioku and show her." She replied.
But...I never caught anything but doesn't she know how to hunt?"
Not very well." My mother sighed and called to Kioku,"Kio! Come here!"
Once Kioku came over my mother smiled and turned to me. "Son, promise me you'll take care of Kio."
I promise mother." I said and nodded.
My mother turned to Kioku. "Kio, promise me that you'll listen to your brother and keep him safe?"
Kioku sighed. "Yes mother."
Good." Mother said. "Now, you two should start going. Be back by nightfall. Oh, and careful of the train tracks along the way!"

Chapter 6: Train Tracks.

So, with Kioku sitting on my back we set off to fined something to hunt. We passed the train tracks just as mother had said and eventually found a deer which I brought to Kioku to eat.

By the time we started back home the sun was setting and the sky grew dark with rain clouds. It was starting to drizzle by the time we reached the train tracks and the sun had set hours ago.

There was a fork in the train tracks which I didn't even know about. All I could remember was hearing the rain come down.
Watch your step." Kioku said nervously as I stepped in between the tracks. I just laughed and stopped for a second. "Kio. Do you really think I could get hurt by stepping on these? Look! There not even alive."
Just then the tracks changed position and me paw became caught in a rail as it snapped shut. "Kio...this-KIO! This isn't funny! OUCH! IT HURTS!!!! KIO! GET ME OU-" I was cut off by a loud whistle and saw smoke rising up into the sky. Then, from around the bend I saw a light coming through the trees. Then it was shinning on me. A huge steam train-and it was coming straight at me.
KIO!!!!" I screamed in terror. "HELP ME!!!!PLEASE!!!!HELP!!!" But Kio had jumped off my back and ran into a tree. All I could do was watch as the train came at me.
The next thing I knew was that the train had hit me. My paw became stuck in the train's drive shaft and my other paws had stopped the tracks from closing completely; the train derailed and I was under it.
I screamed and cried for Kio. I don't even know if she herd me because the engine was laying on it's side-right over me. Seam and fire were seeping out from the rivets in the engine and it was hurting me. The next thing I new was that the engine's boiler exploded and the last thing I saw was fire.

Chapter 7: In the end.

I can't really remember what happened after that. First I was bright lights, then I felt like I was falling. I felt like something was pulling me, and I was running. It was like a dream, I felt everything but remember nothing else.

After some time I could hear human voices and cries. I awoke under the remains of the train. I forget how long I was under there but I managed to pull myself out.

Once I was free I looked around. The rain was coming down softly and it was night. There where tire tracks in the mud and the sent of humans and fire filled the air. The entire train had been burned by the explosion and rain was coming down heavily.
That's when I herd someone crying. I soon found Kiou sitting in the leaves of a tree. She was covering her eyes with her wings and cried. "Kio! I'm alright!" I called up to her. "Kioku looked down at me and sniffed before a look of horror crossed her face. "C-Cycryai. B-but...your supposed to be....d-dead!"
I frowned and looked myself over. My fur was burned. "I-am? Oh...that's right. The train hit me."
Cycryai." Said as she jumped down onto my back. "I know it's you. Right?" I nodded. "Well then. The humans came and helped others get out of the train. Some dog's came too. I-I think they found our family...and...chased them off."

I headed home and came across the empty den's of out pack. The mud was covered with human,dog, and dragon footprints. "They may have flow away, or maybe the humans got them." I whispered. "Can't we go fined them?" Kioku asked. "No, Kio. I answered. If we do follow them, I thing we'll fined the truth, and I don't think we'll like it."
Kioku hung her head started to wail and I soon did too. We went into out mother's den and stayed there for the night. Crying ourselves to sleep.
